another busy day. got up this morning. had my usual breakfast with dad- bowl of cereal,  glass of oj and a couple sips of coffee. dad decided that today is hair cut day. i am getting a bit shaggy. so he told mom and off we went. he walked and i rode my bike.
i got my hair cut. the guys at the shop thought my bangs were hysterical. there was some squirming but the new guy managed to trim me up just fine.
mom was supposed to come and pick us up but i talked dad into letting me ride the bike back home too.
got home and there was a key on our door step. it was an old fashion key. i picked it up and tucked it under our door matt. dad and i went inside. mom was there doing stuff. dad told her that she dropped one of her keys. she went and got it from under the matt. see, safe and sound.

we saw all kinds of crazy stuff. the big thing we saw was the horse using a treadmill. that was crazy. they loaded this horse onto a giant sized treadmill and turned it on. then they upped the speed and the horse ran in place! it was noisy. i was right there in the front by his head. the treadmill even raised up and made the horse run up hill. the whole time the horse was dropping poops out the other end and it was splatting on the treadmill and flying back at people feet. mom and i thought that was funny.
the horse ran for a few minutes and then the guy slowed the machine down and turned it off. he unlatched the horse and started leading him away. the horse knocked this big fan over and all hell broke loose. the horses in the room all screamed. the handlers shouted. people went running out of the way. there was lots of clattering. mom shoved me behind her and against the treadmill bar. i was totally safe if anything really bad happened. but it didn't. the horses were under control. we left the room and went to look at other things. i saw a cow with a huge plastic opening sewed into his side. he was a gut bacteria donor. how odd. i saw a room full of sleeping cats. the sign said they were all feline blood donors. i saw a pregnant horse having an ultrasound. i looked on the monitor and saw the baby horse inside. kind of gross but cool. there were loads of cats, dogs and rabbit all looking for new homes. i saw some dogs running on an agility course. they looked like they were having fun in the plastic tunnels. i know i like plastic tunnels too.
mom and i went to the teddy bear clinic and i helped sew up an injured teddy bear. i had to wear a mask and hair net just like real surgeons. i touched all the different animals. the rabbits were very soft. we saw all the different operating rooms and loads of different equipment that the vets use to help sick animals feel better. i even saw footage of a parrot getting a barium trace! what a world. the last thing i did was help the rescue team hoist a horse out of a sink hole. i got to pull on ropes and the wooden horse lifted up and dangled around in mid air. it was hard work. wooden horse or not, it was big and heavy.
before we left mom and i stopped at the snack stand and she ordered a hot dog. we sat in the courtyard and mom ate the hot dog. she said if i tried it, i could get my own chocolate ice cream cone. i thought about it for a minute and said- ok fine. so she cut me off 2 small tastes. i ate them both. it was actually kind of good. i had a couple fries too. they were very tasty. when the hot dog and fries were done mom and i went over and i ordered a chocolate ice cream from the ice cream man. i dove right in. oh man it was awesome. i got ice cream up my nose but i didn't care. it was delicious. mom didn't care because the ice cream was free. best day ever! or at least since last saturday.

today was pretty good. mom and i met up with anne for lunch. we tried this new place called the country kitchen or something like that. it makes southern soul food/vegan stuff. we haven't seen anne in ages so mom was filling her in on all our different adventures and happenings. i smiled at her and she goes- are you missing a tooth? mom made me open my mouth and sure enough- the secret was out. i lost my first tooth. mom pounded me with a million questions. mostly- where's the tooth! i told her i hid it in the bin. she was all well we're going to have to dig it out when we get home.
lunch was alright. i was a good boy. mom made me taste these things called- sweet potato hush puppies. they do not contain any actual puppies. they were pretty good. mom didn't order me any food to eat though or even a drink. she says i can't have anything when we go out unless i want to eat big people food. humph.
lunch took forever. mostly because it's a small place and the kitchen can only do so much. so we waited ages for food. ate it and then it was time to go home again.
mom and i just hung out all afternoon. she did some sewing. she made me a pillow for the tooth fairy. there's a little pocket to put the tooth in and then the tooth fairy is supposed to take it and leave a treat behind. um yeah, about that. my tooth wasn't actually in the bin. i had to confess to mom that i lost it- like really lost it. the tooth fell out while i was brushing my teeth and it went down the drain. oops. no biggie. mom said i could write and iou and the tooth fairy should be cool with that.

today i had piano lessons. first time back after a long break. it went ok. i knew which instrument was the piano so that's always a good start. took me a couple tries but i finally got happy birthday in the end. i remembered different notes when asked to find them on the keyboard. next week i should be more on the ball.
other than that mom and i just kind of spent the day hanging out. nothing super exciting or special going on.

i'm mad at my mom. she's trying to make me eat sausage sauce and pasta for dinner. unblended! what the hell? she said big boy teeth mean big boy dinners. i have to eat what everyone else is eating. come on. this is bullshit. i'm just going to sit and stare into the bowl. if i keep making sad faces at dad he might sneak me something i actually want to eat.
other than that today was pretty good. the fix it man had to come and replace the faucet in the kitchen. a piece was cracked and the whole thing were the water comes out was about to fall over. so fix it guy got the part he needed and 10min later we had a new working faucet. mom put a new water filter on it. the old one was looking a bit grubby.
with the sink fixed mom and i went out and did our chores. first was taking the trash out. easy enough. then we got in the car and mom drove us to the grocery store. we exchanged one bag of coffee for a different kind at customer service. then we went and got some cans of tomatoes off the shelf. they were on sale. mom took out her change purse and it flew open. money went everywhere! i helped her pick it back up. i was rather annoyed that she wouldn't let me keep any.
so we got what we needed at the store and mom drove us off. she went through the intersection and said- oh crap. i forgot to turn. durrrr. mom and i ended up at the park instead of the library. i had a nice bit of play time, running around and climbing on things. it was pretty nice this morning. when i was done running around i asked mom to take me to the library too. she said- sure why not.
back in the car and mom drove us to the library. there weren't many kids there so i had my choice of computers. i played my favorite space game while mom picked out some books for me to read. i had a really long turn on the computers. it was great. i built rockets and then crashed into the moon over and over again.
when i was done playing it was time to check out and go home for lunch.
i had a really nice fruit smoothie today. mom makes hers more like milkshakes. they're really thick and full of good stuff.
other than that there was a big rain storm this afternoon. lots of thunder. very loud rumbles. cool.

mom looked in my mouth today to check the progress on my tooth loosening. she said she can already see my new tooth. it's broken through the surface and it's going to be huge! oh yeah. getting my big boy teeth.
not much to report about the day. since nothing got done on monday mom and i spent the day getting chores done. it was laundry day! so we put the laundry in the machines. i dropped off the rent check and the office lady game me a snickers candy egg. mom quickly confiscated that. scrambled eggs are fine to eat at 9am but not chocolate ones apparently.
i stopped to watch the work crew doing stuff in the pool. there's no water in there! they were power washing the sides getting all the funk off. no swimming for me in the near future i guess. i liked how the spray went into the air and made tiny rainbows.
while the laundry was in the washing machine mom and i went to publix. we did the shopping thing. mom got some stuff we needed. nothing super exciting.
after publix it was back to the laundry so the clothes could go in the dryer. i pushed the money in and pressed the start button.
while the clothes were getting dry mom drove us over to the sad homeless animal charity shop.
we walked around in there. mom found some random stuff to buy. she got an arm load of those cassette things. she was there for ages picking through. i think she has enough to keep her busy for awhile now. after mom had gotten all the good bands we paid and left.
we went back and picked up the laundry. fun fun. big chore of the week done. i sat and watched pbs kids while mom put the laundry away. and that's that. mom is going to make me something called a french bread pizza for lunch. sounds interesting.

today i did nothing. mom tried her hardest to talk me into getting dressed but i wasn't interested. i sat around in my underwear all day long. a nice lazy day for me. it was monday, come on. i read in my dictionary a bit. mom saw me flipping through the pages and asked what i was looking for. 'hyperactive'. she told me i probably wouldn't find it in my dictionary because it was just a kid's one so she pulled out her big grown up one for me to look through. meh. i'll keep looking in mine, thanks. found a great picture of a fire extinguisher. i spent a lot of time studying that. they shoot out foam and water to smother fires. interesting.
watched pbs kids and a couple movies. dad came home and i hung out with him for awhile. that's my day. not super exciting but nice enough. mom says tomorrow we are totally doing the chores.

ugh. so it's been awhile since this thing has been updated. sorry about that. mom has been busy doing other things- namely making books. she's been trying to earn us some pocket money. then i've been busy having a million adventures with my assorted grandfolks. fun fun. but probably the biggest reason is they changed the blogger user section/interface and it sucks to do anything here. updating on the new format was a giant pain in the ass. they've made a few changes recently and things look a little better, so i guess we can get back to telling tales.
today was sunday. easter sunday. i jumped out of bed and ran into the living room super excited this morning. not because the easter bunny came but because i woke up and one of my teeth decided to become loose over night. how exciting is that? i showed mom and she was all- eeeewe gross, that looks gruesome. dad gave me a lecture on how i had to start taking super good care of my big boy teeth.
the easter bunny is super slack around here. he just left my basket on the table for me. i looked it over- spongebob egg full of candy. angry birds hand sanitizer. GIANT BAG OF SKITTLES! (skittles in america are brightly colored fruit flavored candy. i dig them) oh i got some peanut butter eggs. odd, pretty sure i saw mom buy skittles and peanut butter eggs yesterday.
anyway. easter, whatever. it's sunday and that means spending the day with my dad. we've had a great time.
today we did video games for awhile. then this afternoon we went to out ride my bike around the complex. we had a good time at the little park next to the laundry room. we grubbed around in the dirt and threw acorns at each other. dad called mom and eventually she showed up with a go-ghurt for me and the tennis gear. dad was well annoyed she only brought 1 ball.
it was getting hot out so we all just went home. mom made me have a bath because i was so dirty.
had some dinner. dad and i are just going to chill on the couch watching naughty cartoons. tonight it's american dad. i don't get the jokes, i just laugh when dad does.
