today mom and i went on a secret adventure. it was kind of a nice day in that it wasn't pissing down rain. mom said since it was just kind of cloudy and warm we could go out. we got dressed and ventured out into the day. we walked and walked then we walked some more. mom and i just talked about stuff. we walked to a part of town i have never been to before so there was lots of questions.
we got a graveyard and mom was all- we're going to take a quick walk through here and snap a few pictures. hanging out with mom, going to visit dead people- eyeroll. at least mom brought a camera for me. i took a few pictures, mom took a few pictures and we were done. mom said since we got to do something she likes to do and i could do something i like to do. we headed off to the park.
did you know there is a huge park in heavitree? i didn't, i'm not even sure where heavitree is but mom says that's the part of town we walked to today and not only do they have a big graveyard, right down the street from there they have a huge park. there were loads of dogs running around the park. mom and i went to the little kid section. it was ok. they had a slide and things to spin on but the parks nearer my house are actually better. heavitree park is more for older kids and dogs. we only staid a little while at the park, i wanted to stay longer but mom was all- there are other things to do.
mom and i walked over to the main drag in heavitree. not only is there a big park, heavitree has a massive charity shop. we walked around and looked at things. i found a really cool kid's calculator for 50p! mom said- i guess we can buy it, i know how much you like to do calculations. mom gave me 50p and i went to the counter and paid all by myself. after we were done buying things mom and i caught the bus home. oh my god what a day. you can't be a secret adventure that ends in a bus ride.
mom and i got home, we ate a quick lunch and then it was nap time. i fell asleep right away. i'm up now and i'm just going to spend the rest of the day doing calculations.
