it's monday. mom and i didn't feel like doing much so nothing really got done. we hung around the house most of the day. i was really enjoying pbs kids so i didn't want to get ready. mom finally wrangled me into my clothes and turned off the tv. we did some chores. mom took out the trash and recycling. i helped pay the rent.
mom drove us out to walmart. we walked in the store and mom said- how about we get a little snack before we do the shopping. sure whatever. so we went to the little mcdonald's at the front of the store. i ordered an icy fruit drink. there was a big picture hanging on the wall and i said- i want one of those! so the counter lady made me a berry blast and i got a small order of french fries to share with mom. we sat down and had a little snack. how fun.
when we were done is was time to shop. mom got a cart and pulled out her list. up and down, around and around we went putting things in the cart. mom picked up all kinds of crazy things. we got a cooler. what do we need a cooler for? so we can have cold drinks at the seaside. WE'RE GOING TO THE SEASIDE? not today. oh. there was a lot of stuff in the cart. finally mom said we had everything so we paid and drove home. this time all our purchases made it home with us.
that's about it really. it's pretty hot out so we've just been relaxing on the couch watching back to the future.

today has been fun. dad and i have been hanging out all day long. every time mom comes in the room i ask her to leave. this is guy's only. i did agree mom could go into the kitchen butt only to make us some donuts. she hooked us up with some delicious pumpkin spice ones. they were great.
dad and i have pretty much just played video games all day. we took a short break to watch some soccer earlier. there were guys on the field fake falling. i don't see why mom gave me such a hard time.
it's super hot out. dad took me to the Y so we could swim. that did not end well. i am still afraid of the pool filters. there was some screaming. i did not want to get in the pool at all. dad and i just went back home. more time to play video games.

this morning i had a nice long hang out with my dad. have i mentioned lately how much i love my dad. he's the best. we watched some tv and ate breakfast together. dad's going to work today and i have soccer. mom got me all dressed up in my uniform. looking sharp. everyone else got dressed too. mom and i drove dad down to work then it was off to the Y for my game. it's stupid hot out today. i got all hot and sweaty running around the field. good thing mom brought me some gatoraid. so i thought the game went all right. i scored a goal, for the other team. ooops. mom gave me an earful about my playing. turns out i'm not supposed to fake fall. i'm not supposed to spin in circles and i'm not supposed to kick the dirt to make dust clouds. come on now. that just takes all the fun out of it. i was kind of bad with the fake falling, i admit. i was running into kids on purpose so i could fall down. kids were falling down on the other side of the field and i would run over and fall down with them. other times i would fall down just because. my lack of attention got me into a bit of a comedy sketch too. i kicked the ball so far it went into the neighbouring game. i ended up joining in on that game even after the ball was returned to my field. mom just shook her head. i was having fun. that's all that really matters.
after soccer mom and i went home. i got changed into different clothes. mom reapplied some sunscreen on us and out the door we went. where are we going now? it's a surprise. mom knows how i feel about surprises- I LOVE THEM! so we drove a short way and ended up at the airport. what's going on here? mom was all wait and see. so we drove around and mom finally found the place we needed to be. the car got parked and out we went to the university airfield. we walked in to the building and there were loads of people all milling about. i saw a great fish tank so i stood and looked at fish for a while. is this what we came here for? to look at fish? mom said- no we need to go outside.
mom lead me outside and oh man, it was awesome. there were airplanes and cars everywhere. our first stop was a navy helicopter. i got to sit in the pilot's seat and pretend to fly. there were all kinds of screens and buttons to press. very cool. mom and i walked around and looked at the little planes. i wanted to go in them all but mom said that they were private planes and you couldn't sit in them unless the owner said ok. i just looked inside. private planes are really small and there's no tv to watch.
we checked out the cars. there were new cars and super old cars. i saw one car that didn't even have a steering wheel. you just pushed this stick back and forth. what the heck? while we were walking around a navy jet came in off the runway. the engines were roaring and hot exhaust was coming out the back. it was awesome. i watched the pilot climb down out of the cockpit. the coolest thing i got to do was go up in a submarine hunter. this big old plane flies around over the water dropping listening buoys  off the coast. then they can listen to what the buoys pick up and tell what kind of ship made the noise. how cool is that? i got to walk all around the plane. i saw their sleeping/snack station. i got to sit in the listening post. i checked out the radar set up. i even got to sit in the cockpit. it was great. before i got off i got to look down one of the launch tubes where they drop the buoys from. i could have stayed on the plane longer but mom said we had to get off and let someone else have a try.
i got off the plane and our next stop was an armoured personnel transport, that's kind of a big fancy army truck. this one was a hummer set up for desert work. i got to sit in it and check out all the different features. fun. i was getting kind of hot so mom suggested we get SNOW CONES! any time i get snow cones it's the best day ever! mom and i shared a mango lime. oh it was delicious.
we walked around a little more. there were some bounce houses but mom said- no way. i'm not paying $3 so you can jump around, not when the planes are free. so i checked out some more choppers. i got to see the hospital air ambulance. i only got a quick look as they were getting ready to take off. mom and i stood back and i watched the chopper shoot off into the air. there were planes taking off left and right. all the little private planes flew off too. i kind of wanted to go on a plane ride but mom said, no. they were only $90. but but. no, big planes are bad enough. maybe your dad will take you next year. fine. after we saw everything twice, mom said it was time to go. i wanted to stay but as always mom has the final word and back to the car we went.
mom and i had a little rest at home and then we went to pick up dad. i'm going to hang out with dad now he's home.

it's friday. this morning i was all- i want to go to the park. blah blah blah. mom was all we've got other things to do. your request has been received and i will think about it. what the hell does that mean? i want to go to the park. mom and i got dressed. she told me to try on these swim trunks. i was very upset when  we got in the car. what about my pants? what about my underwear? i can't wear just swim shorts! mom was all- you'll be fine and drove around town a bit. mom said there were a couple estate sales today. we went to one place and i guess we were early. no one was there. we knocked on the door and nothing happened. that was a waste of time. mom drove us to the drug store and we got some road snacks. why? i'm not sure. it's not like we're far from home. mom drove us to another place that was supposedly having a sale. there was nothing really going on there either. no sign, no people. we didn't even bother getting out of the car.
i want to go to the park. mom just kept driving. we passed like 3 perfectly good parks. mom kept driving. mom handed me a box of cheese crackers to much on. we drove all the way to the next town. what's going on here? are we going to an easter event? no easter is over until next year. what are we doing here? just wait, you'll see. finally mom parked the car and we were at THE SPLASH PARK! ahhh so that's why i'm wearing swim shorts. mom planned to bring me here all along. sneaky mom. the splash park was awesome. i had a really great time. it all came to an end though when mom caught me sucking water into my mouth and then spitting it out. turns out that's against the rules and kind of gross. mom made me get changed and we drove back home. i won't lie, there were some tears.
mom says she doesn't feel like cooking tonight so we're going to pick up dad and then go get some pizzas. awesome.

what did i do today? not much that's for sure. mom and i have just been kind of hanging out.

this morning started off with me telling mom to make my breakfast and then TAKE ME TO THE PARK! mom says i'm just a little bossy and i better knock it off because she's not my slave. if anything i'm the one who's supposed to do what she says. as if.
after much grumbling and mumbling mom got us ready for the day. we jumped in the car and mom drove us some place weird. we ended up a place we visited during a halloween event. this is kind of out of the way and strange. mom parked the car and we got out. we took a short walk around the block and ended up at a park. awesome! i've been to this park once before. it's not super huge but there's some fun things to do. i climbed the walls and did the slide. i ran around a bit. this little baby thought i was funny so he chased me. i ran some more and we both laughed. little babies are slow. he couldn't catch me. haha. i wanted to stay at the park longer but mom said it was time to go. go where?
mom and i went back to the car. i fell down and scraped my knee because i was shuffling my feet. there was some blood but i didn't cry. mom gave me an earful of 'i told you so.' ugh. i hate i told you so. i told you not to shuffle your feet, this is what happens. blah blah blah. mom grabbed a wipe from the car and cleaned my booboo up. then she grabbed some bags and off we went. mom took me to the friends of the library sale. it happens twice a year. lots and lots of books for dirt cheap. today was 10cents day. what a mob scene. there were people and books everywhere. mom stuffed a bunch of books in her bag and we went to pay. thankfully mom wasn't interested in staying long. i'm feeling kind of tired. we waited in line and mom's two bags of books only cost $1.20. long live 10cent day!
got back to the car and mom drove us off. i fell asleep. i woke up at home and mom talking loud: hardwick, we're home. oh great. got up stairs and mom made me some lunch. i got the usual peanut butter and jelly on toast.
the rest of my day has been pretty mellow. my dad is home now and we're going to hang out.

today mom took me on a super secret adventure. she hustled me into the car and drove me out of town. what the heck? where are we going? we didn't go far, just past the airport. mom parked the car and we got out. a bunch of other kids showed up too. the moms stood around talking. what is going on? i saw a car and read the letters on the side: waste center. what is a waste center? mom was not forth coming with any additional information. finally a guy came up he said: i'm going to be your guide.
so we all got into the back of this trolley wagon. the guide said: welcome to the gainesville waste transfer station. this is where we process all the local garbage. what? we're at a dump? for fun? not exactly. turns out the dump closed a few years ago and no one wanted to build a new one. so all the trash gets collected, brought to the transfer station, sorted and then dropped into the back of a new truck and hauled 20miles down the road to a different town that still had a dump. we saw the loading bay where this all happens. it is stinky.
we also saw the recycling center. that was pretty neat. we got to get out of the trolley and an old dude gave us a great tour of the recycling part. we watched a buy breaking down old computers. we saw where they store old paint and oil before shipping it off. they even have a machine that totally recycles florescent lights. it grinds them up and separates out all the different parts. i like the computers best. he opened one up and started taking out all the insides. i got to touch the computer's brain. it was prickly. when the talk as done it was back on the trolley and to the parking lot where car was waiting for us.
mom and i got in the car and she drove us to walmart. mom talked to the counter girl and we went to get our missing chicken. we had to go back to the counter and talk to the girl again to say- we got the chicken and that was that. mom drove us home just in time for lunch. whoo-hoo.
i had a nice relaxing afternoon. at 4 mom helped me get ready for karate. awesome. i love karate. i missed it both time last week because of my busted eyebrow. got to karate. i said hi to everyone and sat on the matt waiting for class. i was kind of fooling around, clicking my card around. my teacher pulled me to the side and i got told off even before class started. doh. class was good though. i followed directions and was super good. i paid attention, for the most part. today we did kicks. it was fun.
nothing super exciting about the rest of the day. i had a little accident with my soup at dinner and it ended up on the floor. mom and dad were not impressed. oops

busy day for me and mom. we got up early and went to walmart for some shopping. i'm not allowed to sit in the cart any more so i had to walk around. we went up and down aisles getting things on mom's list. it took a while because mom had a lot of random things on her list. sheets? why do we need sheets? i got to pick out the new sheets since they are going on my bed. i picked orange and blue. i wanted grey and black pillow cases too but mom said- no. so i ended up with blue pillow cases. i guess that will work.
we got everything we needed and hit the check out. mom put everything in the cart, or so she thought and out the door we went. mom drove us home again. mom put the stuff away only to discover the most expensive thing never made it back into the cart. we left the store without the chicken! mom made annoyed faces at the phone while she called the store. sounds like we're going back tomorrow to get a new bag.
the rest of the day was just about sitting around and waiting. i got to watch some of my shows. mom was all- we can't go anywhere, might as well watch some movies.
our first delivery today ended up being mattresses. whoo-hoo. the mattress guy lugged both of them up the stairs at once, all by himself. mom had him leave them in the hallway by the big closet. can't do anything with mattresses until the beds get here. at 4.30 the bed guys finally arrived. the hauled the pieces of my bed up the stairs. they used drills and screw drivers to put everything together. i have a feeling they've done this kind of thing before because it only took them a few minutes. my bed was together and the new mattress was on it before 5pm. awesome. mom dressed it up with my new sheets. i have a new bed. i like it.

today i hung out with my dad. allllll day looooong. it was awesome. we played video games. we went for a walk to the hardware store to buy spanners. i helped him move furniture around. doesn't really sound exciting but i just love doing things with my dad. i don't care what it is. i was rather annoyed when mom was in charge of bath time. booooo. but i got clean and then ran and sat on the couch next to dad.

today i played football.

first we had a short practice and got our shirts. they're blue. i'm number 23. there were loads of bugs flying around the field. i was more interested in chasing them than playing football. i was also super excited to get my own gatoraid. awesome. i had a good time. i ran around the field and shouted. we all took turns. only 4 kids from a team were on the field at a time. when i wasn't playing i sat with the rest of my team in this cool shady tent one of the parents brought. it was like our own clubhouse. i'm not sure who won, that doesn't really matter. we all had a good time.
my dad is at work. i sooo can't wait until he gets home so we can hang out doing guy stuff.

it's friday. this morning mom and i just puttered around. we got dressed and went out to the park. we walked around the path. mom and i saw a snake. a big black snake slithered across the path in front of us. it was cool. SNAKES! he curled up in the leaves under a tree. mom and i kept walking. we saw a big red bird flying around. mom said it was a cardinal. cheeky birds.
after the park it was off do the grocery shopping. i had to walk around the store. mom said no more riding in the cart for me. after i busted my eyebrow open, that's that. i'm a big boy and i can walk. booo. mom and her stupid rules. so i had to walk around the store while mom put things in the cart. ladeda. we got the shopping done and it was back home for us.
had a lazy afternoon of not doing much. it's kind of hot and humid. you don't really feeling like doing stuff in this kind of weather. i messed around in the livingroom doing stuff i'm not supposed to- like throwing my socks on to the ceiling fan. mom told me off a few times. i got sent to my room a few times. you know how it goes.
i went mattress shopping with mom. not super exciting. we drove to the mattress store. we got out. mom looked around for a few minutes and then haggled with the sales guy. done deal. the delivery guys will come visit us on monday with our new mattresses. mom says now we have plenty of room for house guests.

thursday. what did i do today? mom and i went to the park for a bit. i ran around and had fun. it's kind of rainy out so we we're just going to watch some movies. today it's nature shows with david attenborough. awesome.

this morning i got up and looked for dad. i was kind of bummed out when mom told me he already left. booo. had some breakfast and watched my morning shows. mom turned on skype. dana bunny popped up so mom talked to her a bit. dana bunny and gdad made it back to america from their long winter in the islands. whoo-hoo. i didn't really want to talk because the cat in the hat was on. when my show was over i had a quick chat with dana and gdad while mom got ready. 

when we were done talking on skype mom and i went to buy a bed. i am all about buying a trumdle bed. that's a bed with another bed underneath it, but not a bunk bed. the underneath bed is secret, you don't know it's there until you pull it out. so i helped mom buy this new bed. it's going to be delivered on monday. cool. i can't wait.

after we paid for the bill mom took us to walmart. mom filled the cart with stuff. i got all kinds of football gear- new shorts and super cool shin guards. and mom treated herself to a fancy chair to sit and watch me play.

there was also random things in the cart.

mom paid and we went home again. and that was my day. mom and i spent the rest of the day passed out. the weather is really gross and humid. i slept like 3hrs on the couch. i managed to stay awake long enough to watch back to the future3. 

dad is home now and we're going to hang out on the couch.

no karate for me today. mom and i went to the park for a bit and hung out. there was grocery shopping. that's about it. fun is on hold until my eye brow heals up a little more. mom says i can go back to normal on thrusday.
for a special surprise treat mom took me to sonics. we got chocolate milkshakes and then drove home. i dropped my shake on the steps on the way up to the house. oops. mom cleaned up the mess and i drank the rest. I LOVE CHOCOLATE SHAKES!

all fun is cancelled for the day. mom and i were supposed to go to the splash park. since i busted my eyebrow open mom says- no fun. other kids don't want me bleeding on them. oh well.
so mom and i just hung out watching shows. we went to the park in the afternoon. it was kind of hot. i chased squirrels.

today was kind of crap actually. dad went to work. that bummed me out. it's sunday and we spend the day together doing fun guy stuff. mom explained to me that dad didn't really want to go but he's got lots of important talks to prepare for.
mom and i went to do the grocery shopping. everything was fine until we did the check out. i was bouncing around the cart and messing around. mom told me to stop but i didn't listen. i bounced a little too hard and ended up catching my eyebrow on the side of the cart. it hurt. i covered my face and said- ouch ouch ouch. mom checked me and said there was blood. OUCH. someone said the word bandaid and that was it. i started to howl. NO BANDAIDS! the checkout girl gave me a paper towel and i used that to stop the blood.
mom drove us home. she cleaned up my face a bit. she said i would most likely have a scar. a star? i don't want to have a star on my face. a scar. then mom explained what a scar is.
dad called a little after lunch so mom and i went to go get him. whooo-hoo. dad's back. we're going to spend the rest of the day playing video games. awesome

today i had football practice, or soccer. mom and i drove dad to work for the day and then we went to the Y. there were a million kids running around kicking balls. mom and i managed to find coach b. practice went much better today. i didn't touch the ball once. i almost paid attention the whole time. mom said i did great. i kicked the ball around and had fun with the other kids. football practice was good.
mom and i spent some time hanging out. we watched movies. nothing super exciting.
dad called and we picked him up. it's nice when dad is home. we're going to hang out doing guy stuff now.

it's friday! the weekend is almost here. this morning mom and i dragged dad off to the dentist. he was not happy. he kept saying- 'mom is trying to kill me!' dad does not like the dentist. mom was all- shut up and get in the car. mom doesn't care. you can hate the dentist all you want but you still have to go. dad says that americans are obsessed with dentists. there is one on almost every corner.
dad filled out some forms and then he was called into the back. i wanted to go but mom made me stay with her.

today i spent the  morning doing medial things with mom. she had a drs appointment so i had to go along too. so much fun, see my eyes rolling? there was lots of sitting in the waiting room while mom filled out a million forms. finally they called mom into the back. she had to stand on a scale and get her height measured. the blood pressure machine came out and it said 148. the nurse said- that's kind of high. mom tried to blame it on me. what? i never. the nurse went away and mom read me some healthy living propaganda aimed at kids. eat your veggies and run around. blah blah blah. i already do that. the nurse came back and did a surprise blood pressure recheck. this time it was only 138. that's a little better. the doctor lady came in and spent some time talking with mom. i told her all about my video games and things i like to do. mom was all- that's great but it's my turn to talk. fine.
the doctor checked a bunch of boxes and gave this sheet of paper to mom and that was that. or so i thought. mom drove us across town to a place called the blood draw lab. what the heck goes on here? there was lots of sitting in the waiting room. there were a bunch of super old people waiting too. this guy came in and sat next to me. he started making duck sounds at me. we struck up a conversation. i started to talk to him like a rooster but mom said- no rooster talk. so i told him all about my video games and my translator. it passed the time.
finally they called mom into the back room and i found out what they do at a blood draw lab. the nurse put a band around mom's arm that looked way too tight. then she slapped mom's arm a few times. mom told her- they're really deep. the lady finally found what she was looking for and jammed a huge needle into mom's arm. my eyes went all big. mom didn't even flinch. she told me it wasn't a big deal. the tech was an expert and she didn't feel a thing. but but but, that looks so painful. mom assured me it didn't hurt a bit. the nurse tech lady filled 3 big tubes full of blood. mom says they're going to run a bunch of tests to make sure everything is working alright. once the lady had all the blood she needed she put a bandage on mom's arm and away we went.
mom drove us back home. one the way we stopped at subway. mom was starving as she never had any breakfast time. so she ordered us a couple of samiches. we sat at a table and ate them up. i like subway. got home just before noon. doing dr stuff sucked up our whole morning. what the hell.
other than that it was karate day. i did pretty good. today we did body drags. you're supposed to take turns dragging your partner across the matt. team work and strength building or something. i got paired up with timmy because we're close in size. timmy is a big girl. no really, a girl named timmy. how weird. anyway timmy was not in a good mood today. she ran off the matt to her mom, crying. oh well. i got dragged across the matt by ms gnad. she's the head guy's daughter and helps out in my class once in awhile. she's too big for me to drag though, so i didn't have to do any work. thanks timmy!
tonight i totally embarrassed myself. there are two sets of sliding glass doors. one goes from the livingroom to the porch, the other goes from the kitchen to the porch. now if one set is open the other set usually is too. not tonight. i ran straight out the livingroom doors, across the porch and flattened myself when i ran into the shut kitchen doors. mom tried to tell me off for A. running and B. almost killing myself but she couldn't stop laughing. dad told me off instead. i slunk out of the room to brush my teeth and there was more laughing from mom and dad. so embarrassing.

what did i do today? helped mom with the shopping, that's about it. the smoke looks like it's starting to clear so that's good news.

another smokey day. mom and i have just been puttering around the house, not doing much. there's just too much smoke outside to run around.
i went to karate practice this afternoon. that was pretty good. no one recognized me with my flash new haircut. i kind of paid attention during class so i didn't have to sit out at all. go me.

it's super smokey out. like fog. the sky is blue but you can't see anything at ground level. crazy. mom says there is a really big brush fire outside of town and all the smoke is blowing our way. we're just going to stay inside.
we snuck out to walmart first thing this morning and did a little shopping. that's how i know it's so bad out there. the air smells weird.

it's kind of smokey out. it's sunday so me and dad are doing stuff. this morning we had a nice hang out session. we ate breakfast and then watched a bit of the football. i played some video games. after lunch mom chased us out of the house for a bit. dad took me to the park for a football lesson. he showed me how to kick the ball. we passed it back and forth for a bit. don't touch the ball seems to be the most important rule.
we're just going to spend the rest of the day playing video games. tonight on tv is movies of people and animals doing stupid things. i love that show!

dad frog marched me down the street for a hair cut this morning. mom had to go out so we couldn't get a ride. we walked down to the corner barber shop. it's not that far. it was a nice morning for a walk. the barber cut my hairs. i'm all trimmed up for summer time. it was getting a bit too long. summer is long and hot in FL so you can't go wrong with a short cut. there was some wiggling and squirming but i got my lollipop in the end. on the way home mom called. she happened to be close by so she swung by in the car and picked us up.
now today we were supposed to go to a huge egg hunt at the church down the road. mom drove us to the church. we missed all the fun apparently. the egg hunt was already done. there was no bounce house and the lines for the different activities were miles long. dad and i used the bathrooms. that was the only place there wasn't a line. we decided to just skip it and go back to the car.
mom and i drove dad to work. bye dad, see you later. there's not much going on today since it's easter weekend. mom just took us back home. i'm going to kill some time playing my video games. nice long relaxing day for me. i've had one hell of a week. a little down time will be nice.
i got a package today from jammma and grdad. they sent me a green chicken full of chocolate eggs. awesome. i enjoy chickens and i love chocolate.

so today was the last day of camp. there was some sadness. i lost my socks too. ooops. they got absorbed by the giant ball of cast off socks. i think they're gone for ever.

thursday. spring break karate camp is almost over. booo. i've been having a great time hanging out with other kids all day long. we goof off and do fun stuff. today we made paper airplanes.
mom showed up a little after 4pm to help me get ready for my regular class. i got my uniform on and sat on the matt.
class was really small today. i guess everyone has gone away for break. there was me and two guys who are regularly in my group and then 2 new kids joined us today. since class was so small we just did fun stuff. i still managed to not pay attention and get in trouble. mr M had me stay after class and i got an ear bashing off him. then i got frowny faces from mom. eh, what are you going to do? i'm not bothered. besides generally not paying attention i get a lot of hassle for not saying yes, sir. after everything the instructor says you're supposed to shout yes, sir! i usually just say- yes. yes what? yes. yes what? yes...................... sir. every. single. time.
mom says it's cool to be a free thinking rebel but i still have to say yes, sir when i'm in class. fine. i'll think about it.
after class mom and i went to the grocery store for the purchase of hotdogs. exciting i know.
dad and i are going to hang out watching science shows. tonight is all about the periodic table. i'm down with that

today has been so freaken awesome. mom dropped me off at karate camp. she said we had to go early because today was field trip day. so we got there and i got signed in. mom left. the first part of the day we did the usual stuff. played some games, did some karate, blah blah blah. we ate lunch and then it was everyone into the bus.
what?
we all got into the bus and they drove us off to this place called skatestation. oh. my. god! i can't begin to tell you how awesome this place is. it's like a kid's wonderland. i had so much fun i actually lost my socks. that's right. my socks fell off and i have no idea where they ended up. search parties were sent out to find them but no luck. now you have an idea of how cool this place is. on top of all the fun we got snacks. i had a huge plate of fries and an orange soda. my favorite! i did not what to go but in the end it was back on the bus.
mom came and picked me up at the end of the day. she found me covered from head to toes in ketchup. she just shook her head and lead me back to the car. i'm going home to get my face washed

today was super busy. mom dropped me off at karate camp. i had a fun day doing the usual things, mostly having fun. i had to sit out during one of the games for not listening. oh well.
mom came and helped me get ready for class. i ran out of give a damn about 5min into class. i was totally goofing off, rolling around on the matt. not paying attention. you know. the instructor came over and stood over me- mr hardwick, i want you to sit up, in your spot. i looked over to the piece of white tape he was pointing at. on the spot, now. so i just laid there on my back and reached out my toe as far as i could and touched the spot. there was snickering from the parent's area. i'm such a badass.
eventually i got up and sat on my spot. i mostly did what i was told the rest of the class. i do really like karate. i just lack any kind of focus as mom would say. which is why i guess i'm in karate to begin with.
when class was over and i got a quick ear bashing off the instructor, mom helped me get changed and off we went- to the park?
yeah weird. mom took me to the park. i played around a bit then at 6pm mom said it was time for soccer practice. what? i don't want to play soccer. i went over and met my coach- mr B. there were 3 other boys there my age. we took turns kicking balls at mr B. i was sooooooo not into it. everything mr B said, i did the opposite. mom came down the field a couple times and told me off. whatever. practice lasted almost an hour.
by the time mom and i got home it was getting dark and dad was already in the kitchen trying to figure out how to make his dinner. awesome. i can't wait to hang out doing nothing on the couch with my dad

SPRING BREAK!
today is the first day of spring break. you know what that means? it's my first day of camp!
i'm not going to tell you what i did at camp, it's secret. i told dad that one of the instructors almost killed me. and he just about freaked out until mom explained we were playing a video game. camp is super fun and i like it.

had a super nice sunday with my dad. we did some science experiments in the livingroom. mom had to take us to walmart for more balloons. it was fun. dad and i raided mom's craft drawer for rubber bands, string, tape and clothes pins. the only thing mom didn't have was balloons so dad and i bugged her until she drove us out to walmart.
walmart was stupid busy. i guess everyone goes there to hang out after church. dad and i went off to get things we needed and mom did the shopping with her list. we met up in the toy section. dad and i like looking at all the different lego. then mom comes along and says- no you can't have them. booooo. once we had everything we needed mom paid and back home we went.
mom hung out in the bedroom while dad and i built rocket balloons. we tied some string across the livingroom and then put a piece of straw on the string, then you need to fix a balloon on to the straw. it's kind of tricky but in the end you let the air out of the balloon and it shoots across the room. it was awesome. dad and i also built a air pressure gauge. you stretch a balloon over a jar and then glue a straw on top. then air pressure makes the straw go up or down. very cool.
dad also put my bookshelf together. i supervised. we put the shelf in my closet and then tidied up my room. it's nice to have a place for all my books.
