today i didn't really do much which is fine by me. i spent a little time with dad before mom and i dropped him off at work. mom and i drove around to some yard sales. there's not much to talk about. the sales were pretty dull. mom didn't find much to buy. we got home just before the rain came.
it's been raining and storming most of the day. lots of rain and some thunder too. i've just been sitting on the couch watching spongebob. not a bad way to spend the day if you ask me. mom and i are going to head out in a little bit and pick up dad. i'm thinking we're going to eat out again. french fries for dinner, i can't wait

today has been super busy. mom booked us for two different kid events. what the heck? this morning she got me dressed up in my swim shorts. what? mom packed a bunch of random things in a bag and we jumped in the car. we drove down the street and picked up miles and his mom. we're giving them a ride. so they got in the car and off we all went.
mom drove us and the talking lady was giving bad directions again. so miles mom- she is called jill, got her phone to give directions. we had two bossy ladies talking. the ladies disagreed on a few things but in the end they managed to get us to where we need to be and that was- the water park! the next town over has a super cool splash park. miles and i went and had a splash while our moms sat and talked. more kids came and joined us.
it was very good fun. i didn't notice i was super cold. mom finally had to drag me out and warm me up again. i was shivering away. mom stripped all my clothes off and i had to put on dry ones. boooo. i want to play more. mom said after i warmed up a bit we could go run around the playground. well ok then.
i went to the playground with some of the other kids. we climbed on stuff and ran around a bit. i saw mom jump on the back of a t-rex. that was funny. at noontime all the moms said it was time to go. boooo. i wanted to play more. i had a great time. on the way back to the cars this kid jack son gave me a big good bye hug. it did not end well. jack son is kind of bigger than me and he lost his balance. the both of us ended up crashing to the ground. there were tears. i think he got the worst of it though.
got in the car and mom drove us all about to our town. we dropped miles and jill off at their house. i was sad. i wanted to stay and play more with miles. mom said he had to go home and make chili though. blah. so we went home. mom did some cooking. i ate some food. it was kind of a quiet afternoon until mom came running in- put socks on, it's time to go.
back in the car for us and mom drove us to the park with lanes. she wrestled my bike out of the trunk. i went to the track and there was miles and another kid- chandler. the three of us had bike races all afternoon. it was awesome. i won, naturally.
once again mom came in and ruined the fun with her- it's time to go now hardwick speech. eye roll. that's ok, everyone else was going home too. mom loaded the bike back in the car and off we went to the grocery store. mom picked up a few things for dad's dinner. and that's been my day. i'm pretty tired now.

today mom and i went to a kids event. it was decorate the cafe day. mom drove us out to the place were we usually get pizza. we got in and there were loads of kids there. we were given pieces of paper shaped like eggs to glue things to and color. i had a big green egg which i glued some bit of yellow paper too. mom then drew a duck face over top of everything. she made the duck say QUACK. our next project was dying eggs.
i got an egg. first i dyed it yellow. then mom put it in a bowl of green dye, but only 1 side. the egg ended up two different colors! i asked mom how the egg dye works, big mistake. i got a long boring story about vinegar and calcium. mom says we're going to dye our own eggs at home soon, on account it's easter.
when everyone was done with arts and crafts it was juice and cookie time! whoo-hoo, juice and cookies. i scarfed down 3 cookies. they were delicious. then the cooks brought in pizza for us. at first i didn't want pizza but then mom talked me into it. i ended up eating 2 pieces. it was tasty. so all that was pretty fun. miles and his mom were there. we hung out at their house the other week.
when the event was done mom and i went to publix for a few things since it was right there. got home. mom and i hung out a bit. then it was time to go to the next thing- party in the park. that didn't turn out so well. the party was at a park we've never been to before in a part of town we don't often visit. mom only had some vague directions. we never found the park or the party. oh well. mom drove us around for a bit and then we just went home.
now i'm just going to watch a bit of spongebob waiting for dad to get home. mom says there will be more fun tomorrow instead.

today is our busy day of go go go get things done. first stop was putting the laundry in the wash. mom and i went to the Y. i hung out in the play room. a lizard got in and was trying to play with the toys too. silly lizard. one of the girls caught him though and put him back outside. lizards make me laugh.
mom came and got me. we went and put the laundry in the dryers. then it was off to the park for us. whoo-hoo. park park park. i love the park. i had a nice time running around and playing with a couple kids. i wish we could stay at the park all day but mom chased me back to the car.
we drove home and picked up the laundry. got home and mom folded the things. i had some lunch. i'm going to watch some educational shows now. later mom says i have to do some reading. wonderful. i can't wait until dad gets home so we can goof off.

i did karate today. it went much better. i did pretty well. i'm still having a little trouble finding the end of the line after my turn, but the other kids are setting me straight. i didn't have to sit out at all. at the end of class we were told to go give our parents a big hug so i ran up to my mom. i gave her a big hug and kisses, then i told her i love you. mom got all embarrassing and covered me in kisses and said she loved me too.
other than that, mom and i just had a lazy day.

not much going on today. mom and i like to take it easy on mondays. we went shopping this morning. first mom drove us to the cheap bread shop. we didn't even get out of the car though because mom discovered she didn't have any cash money in her wallet. not even $1 to buy cheap bread. ooops. lucky for me though the park is right next door. mom said- since we're here, let's go to the park. i had a nice run around the park getting  my fresh air and sun shine in.
next mom drove us to the lame walmart which is a little closer to the house. it's pretty run down and miserable. we actually found a couple things there the bigger nicer walmart didn't have in stock, namely: mom's favorite cookies and a small bookshelf. that's right, mom finally found a bookshelf for my room. whooo-hoo.
got home. mom and i did a little reading. that's about it really. every day doesn't have to be exciting.

sunday! it's been me and dad hanging out doing stuff. mom tagged along when we went to walmart, but other than that- me and dad day in effect. sunday is my favorite day.
got up this morning and dad hooked me up with a huge bowl of life cereal. they do not have life cereal in england, that's too bad. everyone should eat life. as mom would say- it's cracktastic. i think that means- super good. i love it. i ate the whole bowl up.
dad spent a lot of time working on his computer. he's working on a big important project. i watched some cartoons. dad and i played video games for a bit. that's always good fun.
mom came out and made me get ready. dad got ready too and then it was off to the car. today dad drove us to walmart. mom lead us over to the photo department. she told dad to wait and get his picture taken. i wanted to wait too but mom said i had to help her do the shopping. boooo. i sat in the cart while mom pushed me around the store. we got the things on her list, like a million bottle of OJ and paper plates. when mom had everything she needed we went to check on dad. he was still waiting for his pictures to print. mom left me with him and then wandered off on her own. yeah, me and dad back together. dad finally got his pictures and the two of us went over to the lego aisle. there are so many awesome legos. mom found us there. shopping done we went and paid.
dad drove us back home again. now it's just a lazy afternoon of hanging out watching shows.

today eggs rained from the skies

i had a pretty good morning. got up and spent time with dad. he and i had breakfast together. we watched some only fools and horses. mom helped me get ready, then she helped dad get ready. he got a hair cut today and mom checked it for him. we all jumped in the car and drove off.
mom and i dropped dad off at work. bye dad, see you later. mom then drove us out into the countryside, off to the next town for an easter egg event. it was not very far and as a result, got there very early. mom decided that we should go do something else for a bit. so she turned the car around and we drove a little further into the countryside to the UF dairy barn. they're having an open house today.
mom parked the car in a field and we got out. there were tractor rides up to the barn. mom and i climbed up in the back of the tractor wagon and sat on some hay bales. it was not very far from the cars to the barn but the tractor took forever. oh my god, this is so slow! finally we made it and everyone got off the wagon. mom signed us in and we got these weird looking blue bags to wear over our shoes. what the heck? our first stop was the baby cows. calves they're called. the baby calves were in pens. mom went up to one and gave it some nose scratches. the calf seemed to like that because then it started trying to lick mom. cows have big fat wet tongues. there was slobber. gross. mom tried to get me to touch the calf- no freaken way. i didn't want to get anywhere near those things. so mom took me over to the tractors. i got up on one of them and touched every switch i could. i was pushing buttons and turning knobs. yeah, that's my kind of fun. mom took a couple pictures and then we just walked back to the car. mom said there's no point in staying if i don't want to hang out with cows, you know since it's a dairy farm and all.
we got back in the car and mom drove us back to the easter egg place. some guy pointed us to a parking space in a big field and we were all set. mom parked the car. i grabbed my easter basket and off we went.
there were a few bounce houses set up. i got to go in the spongebob one. i love spongebob. i had a nice long bounce since we were early and not a lot of kids were around.
mom and i walked around a little when i was done with my bounce. we stopped and looked at the highway patrol motorcycle. it was very fancy. the police officer set off the siren for us. that was loud! next mom and i went to the snack booth. she ordered us a can of soda. we sat and shared some soda. it's kind of hot out and the soda was nice and cold. then it was just walking around and around waiting for the easter bunny to get in the helicopter. i stood and looked at the choper for a bit. it's kind of cool.
by the time the easter bunny took to the air the whole place was packed with kids and their parents. where did all these people come from? the easter bunny flew over and dropped some plastic eggs in the fields. the people in charge made sure the egg drop area was clear so no one got hit in the head. the little kids went first in their baby field. they got to have help from their moms. then it was my turn- in the big kid field. i went off on my own, picking eggs. it was great. i filled my basket up. then all hell broke loose. there were kids and parents everywhere. i just went right along picking up eggs but mom got lost. eventually the crowed thinned out and mom found me again, happily picking up the last straggling eggs. mom said there would have been big trouble if i went home with someone else. i traded in my eggs for a bag of candy. hard work has it's rewards.
mom let me have another go on the spongebob bounce house before we went to the car.
so i had a pretty fun filled morning. mom and i made it home just before the massive thunderstorm rolled through. now it's raining out and we're going to watch movies. whooo-hoo.

it's my grdad's birthday. happy birthday grdad.
today mom made me go out and work in the fields. what is this the 1850's? we drove out into the countryside to a near by farm. it's a pick your own strawberries place. there were a million other kids there with their moms too. what is it- slave labor day? everyone was given a bucket and we trudged out to the fields to pick berries.
i picked 10 berries and that was enough for me. mom filled her whole bucket up. strawberry picking sounds more fun than it really is. i kept squeezing the berries so they were shooting juice all over my hands. gross.
mom and i took our berries to be weighed. we got just over 5lbs worth in about 15min. not bad. mom paid the raisin looking lady.( she was kind of old and her skin looked like a raisin, it was weird.) there was a small playground at the farm. mom took me over there to have some fun.
had a good time at the playground. going down slides is much more my thing. i ran around. the other kids came over when they were done with their shift in the fields. we all took turns on the slides. it was starting to get hot so mom shooed me off to the car. but i want to stay and play! mom doesn't care.
mom drove us back but instead of turning to go home, she just kept going straight. she drove us to our regular park. i got out of the car and went to the playground with mom. awesome. there's big trees that shade all the equipment so it's much nicer to play on when the day is getting hotter. there were kids running around and playing so i joined in. i had a nice time playing but once again mom shooed me off to the car.
got home and it's really hot now. mom says it's going to storm later. i'm just going to hang out watching shows trying to stay cool.

i did karate again today. it went much better. i did not have to sit out at all. mom and i actually got there a little early. go us. mom and the girl at the desk chatted. money was exchanged and now i am signed up for spring break karate fun time. whoo-hoo. i get to spend the whole day at the karate school with other kids doing fun stuff. how awesome is that? i can't wait. and it's not just one day either. it's for the whole week. i might need a vacation when i'm done. excitement over load.
other than karate not much to report. mom said she filled in some forms and is waiting on information about the homeschooling thing. i'm going to do online virtual school or something. i don't really know.

today is laundry day. that means lots of running around and doing other things too. mom and i dropped the clothes in the washers to get clean. then it was off to the Y. i had fun playing in the kids room while mom did her work out. mom came and got me then it was off to put the clothes in the dryer.
the clothes got dry and we went to the park. whooo-hoo. i love the park. i ran around and played with the other kids. i had a nice long play then it was back to get the clothes and take them home. it all makes for a very busy few hours.
now that the chores are done i'm going to hang out with mom. she made me do some reading. i'm plugging away at the dick and jane book she got me. this stuff is so easy.

kind of a lazy day again today. it's a bit hot out. i didn't really want to do anything this morning. mom didn't want to do anything so we just kind of puttered around the house trying to stay cool. mom claims we have an
airconditioner but i have yet to feel its effect. i played and watched my morning shows. it's sounds like slacking
but pbs kids is very educational. i learn all kinds of stuff. wordworld and sid the science kid are both great.
lunch was kind of weird as we're out of the food i eat. there's no banana or strawberries for smoothies and there's no bread for toast and marmite. mom cut me up an apple and i had that.
mom tidied up the house a bit. when the hoovering was done she said it was time to get ready for karate.
I LOVE KARATE! mom helped me put on my uniform. she drove us to class.
even though i love karate, that doesn't mean i focus or pay attention. we were a little late for class but i still wanted to get a drink of water from the fountain and then i had to pee, even though i went before we left the house. i just generally goofed off. we did punches and kicks today. i was messing around during kicks. i kept falling over and being disruptive. the instructor made me sit out a few rounds. he gave me another chance but i just did the same thing- kick and fall over. i had to sit out some more. oh well. i got a lecture off the instructor and mom. next week i will try harder. who needs two headaches?
after karate mom drove us to the grocery store. phew. we finally have fruit and bread again.

you know what i did today- nothing. i did nothing. i sat on the couch with mom and watched movies. i am so tired from all my adventures yesterday, i don't even have the strength to be bad.

today is my day to hangout and do things with my dad. i love my dad. we have the best time. this morning we watched a bit of football on the tv. mom shooed us out of the house so she could have some quiet time so we took the car and went to the devil's millhopper. it's just down the road from our house. basically it's just a big hole in the ground with trees and stairs. even though it's sort of hot out the millhopper was nice and cool. dad and i had a nice walk around. we looked at a hole in the ground. i don't really care. i'm spending time with my dad. no matter what we do it's fun.
got home and dad was all- what else are we going to do today? mom had a look on her computer and spouted off a bunch of options. it was decided we should all go bowling and that's what we did. i was a little put out mom joined us but it is family day after all.
mom drove us to the bowling alley. we went in and it was all dark inside. lights were flashing and dancing around. what is this place? mom talked to the guy at the counter and he handed over a bunch of shoes. i've already got shoes on, what the heck? i followed mom and dad to our spot- lane 16. there was a tv and a keypad. mom punched in all our names. dad picked out some balls. mom explained the object of the game- roll the ball and knock down the pin. oh this is like skittles! i like playing skittles.
bowling was super awesome amazing fun. the ball was kinda heavy but i managed to push it down the lane no problem. the first few times i didn't knock down any pins, the ball kept rolling into the gutter. mom went and had a word with the counter guy and he set up the bumpers for me, automatically. what a world. every time it was my turn the bummers came out and helped my ball stay on track. my score improved loads. i came close to beating mom a few times. we bowled for hours.
on the way home from bowling i asked mom if we could go again tomorrow. she said- no, but we'll go again soon. alright then. i am so going to bed now.

i did this today, among other things. i actually hit the target a couple times
today was the gainesville festival. mom dragged me and dad off to it this morning. i could be sitting on the couch hanging out with dad playing video games. instead mom drove us to the fair grounds. there were lots of cars parked in the grass. we parked in a field and then walked up to the gates. we didn't have to buy tickets because mom already got some a few weeks ago.
we walked inside the main building. there was a large woman riding a panda. now that's something you don't see every day. it wasn't a real panda, just a motorized cart dressed up like one. very strange. other than the panda riding lady there were a load of people about and a million tables. mom dragged me and dad around to every table checking things out. it would have been super boring if- they weren't handing out candy. I LIKE CANDY!
dad was all- what is this place? mom says it's a yearly event thing. it features a bunch of gainesville local business and it's a fund raiser for sick kids. all the money goes to give sick kids karate lessons. interesting. i like karate. i actually saw the desk lady from my karate school. i couldn't stop to talk though as i had a huge gum ball in my mouth. mom picked up a bunch of different flyers from all the tables. we stopped and looked at bats for awhile. apparently mom loves bats. there was a bunch of food in the bat cages. they like to eat things like bananas, grapes and melon. i like those things too! i do not sleep upside down hanging from one foot though.
we finally made our way outside into the bright and sunny florida afternoon. we agreed it was a good idea mom made us all put on sunscreen before leaving the house. there were even more places to visit and things to do outside. i played bug toss at the exterminator's tent. i got all my bugs into the holes and won a squirt gun. awesome. i broke a plastic board at a different karate school table and got a free 10 day trial. cool. mom stopped and had the most boring conversation ever at the rowing club booth. mom thinks rowing crewe is awesome and can't wait until i turn 10 so she can sign me up, sarcastic- wonderful.
there were a bunch of animals scattered around too. i am not to keen on animals. mom tried to get me to touch a goat. i turned and ran so fast back to dad i almost knocked a little girl over. i am not touching any goats! we went and looked at the elephant for awhile. people were actually getting up on its back and riding around. no thanks. we stopped and said hello to the tiger and lion from the local exotic animal sanctuary. i am happy to report the tiger did not pee on me. there were greyhounds looking for new homes. one sniffed me and was going to give some kisses but i backed away just in time.
things i did like doing- archery. i got to shoot a real bow and arrow. i hit the target twice! the rest of my arrows almost got there. mom says uncle ricky is a real good shot with the old bow, i might get some pointers off him next time i see him. i briefly joined the giant drum circle. when mom said i couldn't have drum sticks to play i lost interest. i got to do the giant bouncy bubbles again. this time dad pushed me all around. it was great fun. i did the bounce house too.
we had a snack break. snowcone girl was there. I LOVE SNOWCONES! she recognized me- hey it's small mango lime. yup, that's me. i ate the whole snowcone before dad got back with his snack- mushroom burger. he shared that with mom. we had more snacks later at the flower pot bakery stand. mom bought a snickerdoodle cookie and a monkey bread muffin. trust me when i say- both things were delicious. i also charmed the hare krishna lady out of two of her molasses cookies. those were wonderful. mom said if they would promise us cookies like that every week, we'd convert.
to wrap up the day dad and i ducked into the video game wagon. we played a couple rounds of spongebob boat driving on the wii. it was good fun. i had a really nice day out. mom's crazy adventures aren't so bad after all.

was having a nice sleep, happy in my bed. mom came in and turned on the lights. she yanked my blankie off and started prodding me to get up. come on now. i'm trying to grow here. i need my sleep. it's not even 9am yet. why am i being forced out of bed? mom said- we have to take the car to get oil changed and they open at 8. my eyes flew open- DONUTS! mom said- yes, donuts. i jumped out of bed and started putting on whatever clothes were within reach. mom says she has never seen me get ready so fast. i even managed to get my shoes on the right feet. i was ready to go before mom. i find donuts very exciting.
mom drove us to jiffy lube. we were first. they weren't even open yet. we sat in the car and i read the different signs i saw hanging up. i'm getting pretty good at reading. there was some paper filling and question asking. then the jiffy lube men set to work doing things to the car. mom and i walked over to dunkin donuts. i went up to the counter and said to the lady standing there- I LOVE DUNKIN DONUTS! well alright then. mom asked her for a box of holes. CHOCOLATE ONES! mom said- mixed but mostly chocolate. the lady filled the box for us. mom paid and back to the jiffy waiting room we went. i ate a couple holes. there was a lady college student waiting too. she had a fancy phone. i managed to charm my way into playing a few games with her on the phone. we played words with friends. i totally won. i saw sad when mom said it was time to go. i love iphones. i told mom i hope that lady is there next time we go.
hit the grocery store with mom, since it was right there. she pushed me around in the cart and picked up random things. nothing exciting. we got what we needed and headed home.
i talked with jammma and grdad for a bit on skype before it all went stupid, again. something keeps crashing mom's computer. it took hours for mom to get it sorted. i just hung out playing with my toys. mom says i can't watch tv today because she's sick of hearing about spongebob. i'm supposed to read a book. i threw my medical illustration flash cards around the room instead.
mom came in around 3 and told me to get dressed, we had a playdate. oh? so i put on these green clothes mom picked out for me. lizard shirt and camo shorts, really mom? we got ready and out the door we went. we drove to a house not far away, it's just past rainbows near the forest of the unicorn. mom says the neighborhoods around here have very silly names. we parked and went up to the house.
i was about to knock on the door when this lady opened it. i got barked at by a little dog. it was ok. the little dog just sniffed me and went away. i said hi to the lady- jill. she has a son who's 4.5 too- miles. i followed miles to his room. oh man, he had some wicked cool toys. my favorite was his ball tent. you crawl inside and it's full of balls! another boy and his mom showed up- cooper. cooper had a little sister too. miles and cooper are old friends so they just played and did legos mostly. mom tried to get me to come out and play too but i told her- i'm in the ball tent, and i'm not coming out! i really liked the ball tent. i did come out though.
we had arts and crafts time. it's st patrick's day so we made lucky shamrock magic wands. um, ok. mom made a pretty good one. i was more avante guard in my approach.
after wand making we all went outside and ran around. miles house is pretty awesome. he had even more neat toys outside. i had a really good time. we had so much fun there wasn't enough time to sit and eat the cake mom brought for snack. everyone took pieces home instead.
got in the car with mom and she drove us to the pizza shop. it's friday and that means- pizza party. we placed our order and then went to publix to walk around. mom got some sodas. we picked up the pizza and headed home.
it's been a nice day. i had my slice of pizza, couldn't talk mom into giving me any soda though. dad should be home any minute. we're all going to hang out watching movies.

i've been super busy today. it's all go go go. i got up at my usual time. i think i've finally recovered from the time change. mom got me some breakfast and juice. i watched my morning shows. then mom came in- time to get dressed we're going on an adventure today, doing something new. what is it? what are we doing? it's a surprise.
so i got in the car with mom and she drove us to the mall, except it wasn't the mall, we were across the street. mom was impressed that i knew we were near the mall as we hardly ever come over this way. we were at O2Bkids, which is some kind of kid private club. they're having an open house today though so everything is free. neato.
mom and i went in and got signed in. we got a program of the days events and i got to play in the soft play area. not bad. all the kids started to funnel out of the room so i followed them, after mom dragged me out of the ballpit. we all sat in this room and there was a puppet show and lots of singing and dancing around. i had no clue what was going on so i just kind of stood there.
when the show was over i followed the big kids to science class. today we had to sort cereal. the mashmellows had to go in one circle, the colored loops in another and the stars in a totally different one. i really just wanted to eat the cereal, not play with it. after the sorting we had to string the colored loops on some string to form a pattern. then we turned that into bracelets. i fail to see the science behind this activity. i looked at the fish for a bit. they were more interesting.
science time was over and we all went to the gym. now the gym was pretty cool. there was a trampoline and you bounced off it into a foam block filled pit. there was also a slide into the other end of the pit. i ran around like crazy bouncing and sliding into the pit. it was great fun until i got a knee to the face. it didn't hurt but mom made me get out. we left the gym and sat outside. i played with some lego.
gym finally ended and i followed the kids to music time. that was pretty fun too. we all got shakies and gangled them to songs. we did happy and you know it and the hokey pokey. the best part was when the parachute came out. i love parachutes! i pretty much just sat under the parachute the whole time, laughing every time it came down to cover me.
and that was my morning. we were at o2bkids for 2hrs. i had some good fun. mom is still deciding about signing me up. it's an ok place but it's expensive. they also expect you to show up for classes and we need something a bit more flexible until i'm doing having adventures. mom drove us home for lunchtime.
hung out for a bit watching spongebob. mom came running in- hurry! we're going to be late. there was a big rush and  out the door we went- to KARATE!
karate was awesome. i loved it. it was my first day and i didn't really know what i was doing. i did a few things on right. there was some laughter. all the moms thought i was super cute. i kept turning around and shouting at my mom. there was all kinds of cool stuff going on across the room and i wanted her to tell me about it. this kid was getting a private lesson. he was jumping on hoops and using a foam sword. i wanted to know when it was my turn to do that stuff. instead my group was doing punches and kicks. i liked doing that. i made the target crackle. it made a great noise every time i hit it. and i hit it a lot because i kept cutting in line. i'm a little confused as to what- go to the back of the line means. at the end of class there was a fake fight with swords. i wanted to try so bad but sadly i was not picked. i kept putting my hand up and shouting me me me but only the kids who sat quietly got picked. mom says there is a lesson in there.
so i think today more than made up for an uneventful few days. i had so much fun. now it's time to hang out with my dad.

last night mom said we would be getting up earlier today, so i got up at 5.45am. oh yeah! mom was not happy with that. i got to hang out with my dad for a few minutes before he went to work.
today mom and i got things done. we hit the door at 9am with our bag full of laundry. we dropped the dirty clothes off to get cleaned. while everything was in the washers we went grocery shopping. it was not very exciting. mom just picked up a couple things. we're out of juice so she got me some grape juice. we paid for the stuff and then went to put the clothes in the dryer. while stuff was drying we went to the park. there were a bunch of little kids a the park. i just kind of ran around and did the slides. i let the babies do baby things. i had a bit of a play and run around the fields. then it was time to go home. just in time too. it's getting hot out again.
i talked with jammma and grdad for a bit on skype. then it all went wrong. skype is being really stupid. it freezes up and then the computer jams. nothing works right. and that was pretty much my day. doing chores and talking to the grandfolks. trying to keep cool.
there is a thunderstorm tonight. mom has unplugged everything and we're just sitting around looking at each other. boring. i'm so going to bed early.

guess what, i did even less today. i didn't get out of bed until 9am this morning. long lazy morning for me.
mom asked if i wanted to go to the park- no thanks.

you know what i did today? i sat around on the couch. yup. the clocks changed the other night and i'm all confused. i didn't get out of bed until almost 9am. mom and i went out in the afternoon and it was hot. i didn't want to do anything at the park. so mom took me back home and it was couch city for me.

it's sunday, that means- hanging out with dad day. our day did take an unexpected twist though.
started out this morning normal enough. dad hooked me up with a huge bowl of cinnamon crunchie pillows. we hung out. i played a few video games then it was dad's turn for the tv. dad put on the football. we watched a little bit. all of a sudden the tv switched off. the lights went out. no power! what do we do? there's no power. i accused mom of not paying the electric bill. she assured me that was not the case. then you used too much and now we've run out! it was kind of upsetting. without power we can't watch tv, cook, use the bathroom, wash our hands, it's dark.
mom helped me get dresses and shoooed me and dad out the door. i was rather put out. this is supposed to be my day with dad and here's mom following us around. i tried to push her back inside but no. mom drove me and dad to the park. the traffic lights were all working so it just must be a power failure to our block. got to the park.
i ran to the public bathrooms and used them. phew. i could pee and flush and then wash my hands. i was kind of worried i'd never be able to do that again. had a good play on the slides and playground, even though it was sprinkling out. a few rain drops is not going to stop me. i got dad to push me on the swings. i went super high.
mom decided it was time to go. we drove back to the house to check on things. we saw the electric company man and his big truck parked outside our complex. he was just starting to work so mom guessed the power was still off. boooo. mom drove us to walmart. when in doubt, go to walmart. they've got everything, even power.
got a cart and dad pushed me around the store. we left mom to her own devices today. by the time we found her again, she had her own cart full of things. that's fine. dad and i used our time well. we went to the sports aisle. i got a pair of football socks and a number 3 football- it's small. i'm used to kicking around a number 5 ball. this little thing is going to go flying when i boot it. gave all the stuff to mom and she went and paid.
back home we went with our purchases. turned the corner to our complex and found not 1 but 2 electric company trucks. the two guys weren't working either, they were hanging out having a laugh. what the heck? got in the house and flicked some switches- power! thank goodness for that. the power had been restored. i'm still unconvinced it wasn't mom's fault.
dad and i snuck off in the car. we're doing guy stuff. we just left mom sitting at the table. we went to the car wash. poor car is turning yellow from all the pollen in the air. we ran it through the car wash and now it's nice and clean. of course on the way home it started to rain a bit. doh! we came home and found mom vacuuming. mr hoover sucked up all the crumbs.
now i'm just going to play some video games. let's hear it for lazy sundays.

today was soooo much fun. mom told me she has a super secret surprise for me today and she did. got up this morning and hung out with dad. we had a nice breakfast together. mom got up and dad went off to work super early. he decided to take the bus instead of waiting for mom to get ready. dad is all- go go go. mom and i had a nice relaxing morning. i really wanted to go to the park but mom was all- nope, we're doing something else. what? what are we doing? it's a surprise.
finally mom said it was time to go. we got dressed and jumped in the car. we ended up at the Y but at the Y in the south part of town. i've never been here before. what are we doing? then i looked in the field and saw- bounce houses! there's a family fun carnival. mom bought a bunch of tickets. my first stop was the gym bus. i've been on that before a couple times. i gave the guy some tickets and went on by myself. the gym bus is an old converted school bus. there are tumbling mats, bars to swing on, a balance beam. it's pretty fun.
after i had enough on the bus i got off and found my mom. she took me over to one of the bounce houses. i took my shoes off and had a good long bounce. i could have jumped and shouted all day long. bounce houses are that much fun. mom eventually chased me off so we could do other things- like stand in line.
mom helped me get my shoes on and we walked back to the entrance. mom paid the lady for some raffle tickets. i don't know. i guess if they pick your name out you get a prize or something. boring. then we had to stand in line for the bike helmet guy. i got yet another free bike helmet. this one is red and black with scorpions on the side. it also came with knee and elbow pads. i got a goodie bag with a little reflector and whistle. mom made me walk around to all the different booths. they were very boring, just a bunch of ladies selling crap. there was a guy there selling pink stun guns but mom wouldn't let me get close enough to touch anything. electric shocks in your pocket. i'm down with that.
after i was almost bored to death by the booths mom said it was time to eat. we got a couple slices of pizza and some cans of soda. mom found us some benches to sit on and we had a little snack. i had an orange crush to drink. i love crush! the pizza was pretty good. i ate the whole thing, no complaints.
with pizza and soda in my belly, mom thought it would be a great time for me to try out the giant bumper bubbles. there was a wait for bubbles so i did hula hoops for a few minutes first. i'm not much of a hooper. there was another kid there doing it too. i watched his technique. ahhhhh, now it makes more sense. instead of holding the hoop and turning around, you stand still and spin the hoop around your middle. i tried the new way and it worked pretty well.
a giant bubble freed up so mom and i ran over to claim it. the guy in charge came and showed me how to climb inside the harness. it's kind of like wearing a backpack. you just put your arms through the straps and grab the handles, that's it. mom then pushed me around the field. i was spun this way and that. by the end i didn't know which way was up, i was so dizzy. it was awesome though. i laughed the whole time. thumbs up for giant bubbles.
next stop was the cotton candy lady. i watched her make me a big cone full of fluffy blue candy floss. basically the machine heats the sugar, the sugar spins around really fast. it kind of melts and then makes spider webs of sugar. the cone catches the sugar and i eat it up, yum. i had to share with mom.
i got kind of sticky from the cotton candy so mom cleaned my hands up. we went to the next fun thing- fishing for prizes. i grabbed a fishing pole and went right to work. i fished out three rubber fishes. the man said i could either have a small stuffed fish or some lame plastic mask. i didn't really want either prize so mom picked a stuffed fish out for me. i just kept on fishing. it was good fun.
i wanted to keep fishing but mom dragged me up to the next event- bungee swings. oh my god. i've never seen such a thing. mom gave me a handful of tickets which i handed to the girl in charge. she then strapped into this kind of uncomfortable harness. she cranked up the winch and i was hauled into the air. nothing happened. the girl then pulled on my strap and let go, i went shooting up into the sky. bounce bounce bounce. i bounced up and down. it was soooo awesome! i spent a couple minutes bouncing up and down. it was like wearing trampoline pants.
our next stop was the big bounce house with slide. i climb inside and had a great time. there were a couple kids in there but not many. there was still plenty of room to jump about. i got told off by mom for going down the slide on my stomach. that was kind of embarrassing. no one else got told off. but then again no one else was dumb enough to do such a dangerous thing. i had a good long bounce before mom made me get out again. boooo, mom always ruining my good time.
mom said it was time to wrap things up with a trip to the snowcone lady. SNOWCONES! snowcones snowcones snowcones. i love snowcones. i got another lime and mango one. mom and i sat down on the benches again and i ate up the tasty tasty flavored ice. so i had a super fun time and happily followed mom back to the car.
we're home now. mom is waiting for dad to call. we're going to pick him up and then it's out to dinner for us. tonight it's greek food. plate of french fries and ketchup for me, please.

talked to grdad on the old skype machine. jammma was not around. had a good chat. mom and i have nothing to do until later. to this morning was all pbs kids and skype for me.
today mom and i went to the kids consignment sale. there's a big one very fall and spring. the one today was pretty good. there was a lot of stuff. i went in the toy room. i saw lots of things i wanted but mom wasn't interested. games games games. i am obsessed with video games much to mom's displeasure. if it lights up and there are buttons to press, i am all over it. mom put some boring stuff in her bag, educational books and flash cards. boooo. i also got yet another pair of sunglasses and some shin guards for when i start football.
that was my morning.

mom and i went shopping this morning. we went to a couple stores for the first time. our first stop today was at this place called wards. it's kind of like a grocery health food store. i made mom buy me a plum. we also got some cabbage and a bag of nuts. mom has very unusual shopping lists some times. we hit a couple charity shops too but didn't find anything interesting. before heading home we did grocery shopping at publix. mom stocked on some things.
was having an ok afternoon hanging out when mom popped up and said- socks on we need to go! what? go where? what's going on? got in the car and mom drove me down the street to the place where the kids art fair was last weekend. there were no fun things set up today. it was just a regular shopping area. what gives?
mom took me in to the karate place. i used their bathroom last week. mom talked to the lady at the desk and filled out some papers. am i going to do karate?! KARATE! spongebob does karate. the lady got me a uniform. she showed me around. i had my picture taken for an id card. I'M GOING TO DO KARATE! but not today. that was kind of a bummer. i was all ready to go and join the class. mom says i have to wait until next week. ok, fine.
back home now and just waiting for dad to get back.

today was kind of weird. i got up and had some breakfast. mom made me have a bath. what's up with that? a bath in the morning. unheard of. i spoke to jammma and grdad on skype for a bit. mom said we weren't going to do anything until after lunch. so it was just a morning of hanging out.
i wanted to watch despicable me so mom put it on for me. i fell asleep. not just a little sleep. mom said she tried everything to wake me up but nothing worked. i slept for 3hrs. bummer for me i drank a huge glass of juice before passing out. i woke up covered in pee. i had to have another bath to get the pee off and then mom had to clean the couch.
i totally slept through the event we were going to. mom was going to take me to have my picture taken as the local kid magazine is looking for models. oh well. maybe next year.
i'm pretty sure i grew 2inches while i was asleep. i feel taller now.

had an ok day. i got up this morning and hung out with mom. she hooked me up with a bowl of toucan cheerios. they were tasty. i sat around watching my morning shows while mom figured out what to do today. she also did things in the kitchen- like fill up the dishwasher.
we got dressed and mom drove us to the park with lanes. i put my helmet on and rode my bike around the track- 4times, that's a mile. mom walked along behind me. she walked a mile. so we both got our fresh air and exercise. then we went to the playground. there were a lot of babies at the playground today.
i played a little bit on the slides and pole. then the babies got up and started climbing on the equipment. they were getting in my way. mom decided it was time for us to go so we drove home.
got home just in time for lunch. mom made me marmite on toast. yum.
nothing super exciting about the rest of the day. mom puttered and i played with my toys. dad is home now so it's time for us to do guy things
oh yeah. my package finally came today. jammma and grdad sent me a book about a snowman. i looked at the pictures. it was pretty good. a couple other packages came too but mom wouldn't tell me what's in them. booo. secret stuff

got up this morning but dad was already gone. just another day of me and mom. i had some breakfast. mom had her breakfast. i talked to jammma and grdad on skype while mom puttered in the other room. i wanted to talk longer but mom shooed me out of the house.
today was all about getting things done. we dropped the laundry off to get washed. then we went to the Y. i got to hang out in the kids room while mom hit the gym. mom came and got me when she was done being sweety. on the way out mom asked the desk girl for a swimming lessons sign up sheet but they didn't have any. oh well. maybe next time.
we went back to the laundry and stuffed the clothes in the dryers. then it was off to the park for us. i kicked my ball around the football field. there were a lot of little kids in the playground. one of them kept yelling GIANT and knocking me over. i did some great fake falls. it was fun but he ended up getting told off by his mother. i had a good run around. i wanted to stay longer but we had to go get the laundry.
got back to the house. i ran around pretending to be a race car while mom folded up the clothes.
phew. we had a super busy morning so this afternoon we're just going to relaxing and watch some movies.

today i've been doing fun stuff with my dad. mom came along too. got up this morning and yelled at mom for making me sleep naked. why you made me sleep with no clothes on all night? why? i had my night time pants on, but still. that's just wrong. mom was all- because it was so hot and humid last night, i thought you would be more comfortable. blah blah blah. well a cold front went through in the night and i woke up cold. good thing blueberry and peach were there for me to cuddle with. mom gave me some clothes to wear and we all had breakfast.
it took us awhile to get going this morning but eventually we left the house. mom drove me and dad around. we went out into the countryside to a nearby town. where are we going? I NEED TO PEE! lucky for me i said that right before a gas station. mom took me in and i got to pee. phew.
we ended up at a little local airport. we got to walk around on the runway. there were planes, very old planes just parked there. it was very windy. i just wanted to go home. who wants to stand around looking at old planes? we walked around and looked at all the different planes. there were two big bombers from world war 2, some fighter planes and an old passenger one from like the 50s. after some discussion it was decided we could actually go on the planes. i didn't really want to do that until mom told me they were full of dials, buttons and switches. oh i like those things. dad and i went in the first plane. we climbed up a ladder into the bomb bay. it was cool. there was still a bomb stuck in there- for display purposes only. we went down the ladder and then up a smaller ladder into the main body of the plane. i saw the old side mounted machine guns. i went into the middle and saw where the radio man sat. there were a lot of people in the cockpit so i just took a little peak in. there were a load of dials in there.
got out of the plane and one of the old fighter planes was fired up and getting ready to take off. man did that thing make a racket. it took ages but the fighter eventually got into the sky. it whizzed by. dad and i went into the second bomber and left mom outside. you had to climb up a big ladder and into a small hole, mom said there was no way she was going to do that. mom does not approve of ladders.
the other plane was good too. i really wanted to stay and play in the planes but mom said it was time to go in the hanger to see what was going on in there. booo. but yeah because my god is it windy out. the hanger was ok. it was mostly a bunch of old people sitting around trying to keep warm and talking about the war. the most interesting booth was the guy from the online paper airplane museum. who knew such a thing existed, but it does. i love paper airplanes! mom got a card so we can check out some of the 400 different designs on the next rainy day. i got a bunch of super cool paper airplanes to take home. and that was pretty much that.
it's so windy being outside is kind of uncomfortable so mom and dad voted to just go home. i was super sad. i wanted to stay and go on the planes some more. there might have been a tear or two.
mom drove us back towards home. but we didn't go straight home. we stopped off at the waldo fleamarket. mom parked the car and the first words out of my mouth were CAN I HAVE A CHOCOLATE MILKSHAKE?! last time i was here i had a chocolate milkshake and it was awesome. mom said- no it's too cold for that but we can have: MINI DONUTS! whoo-hoo. i love mini donuts. so mom got me a bag full of mini donuts and we all walked around looking at fleamarket stuff. there wasn't a whole lot out since like i said earlier- it's so freaken windy. i think a lot of people staid home. mom got her bag of sweet potatoes, so she was happy. on our way out we walked through the livestock/small animal shed. i saw a bunch of finches flying around. they made me laugh. i stopped and talked with some roosters. i speak rooster you know. there were goats, ducks, geese, rabbits and all kinds of crazy chickens. it was awesome. i saw a chicken getting put in a box. she was going home with someone. it wasn't me though. i went home with an almost empty bag of donuts.
that's been my day. dad and i just wrapped up a paper airplane flying competition. now we're going to plunk down on the couch and watch starwars3

it's saturday. for some reason we were all ready to go at a stupid hour of the morning. mom and i drove dad down to work and dropped him off for the day. bye dad. see you later. mom drove me out to the middle of no where. we went to an estate sale. that's kind of like a yardsale but fancier and you get to walk around inside the house. we poked around this house. there really wasn't much to look at. mom found a few mixing bowls so she was happy. i didn't find anything i was looking for. we got back in the car and drove home again.
we didn't stay home long. mom chased me out the door again and we went to some kid's art sale. what? i don't know. mom said there would be fun stuff for kids to do and that's enough for me. we got to the event and parking was a bit of a nightmare but we found a spot.
got out of the car and walked around. there were a million kids all running around and different booths to visit. at the first table i got to color a picture and then the man turned it into a huge badge. i pinned it to my shirt. cool. each table was giving out trinkets or pamphlets or letting kids do crafty things. there was lots to see. i made a few drawings. i got a balloon sword from the balloon animal man. i did the hula hoops, trickier than you'd think. highlight of the day was getting a mago lime snow cone. mom and i sat and shared it. oh man, so tasty. i love snow cones. there were some bunnies to pet but i wasn't interested in that. i saw some goats and sheep too at the petting zoo. there were also a couple of very silly looking chickens. i watched them scratch in the grass, clucking. chickens are funny.
i'm pretty sure mom and i saw everything at least twice. i probably could have stayed longer but mom said it was time to go. ok. we got back in the car and went home for lunch. whoo-hoo, lunch. mom made me a fruit smoothie. it was awesome.
dad called to say his bus never showed up so mom and i went to pick him up. hi dad. it was decided we should go out for dinner, so off we went. it is dad's day to pick the restaurant so we ended  up at sonny's for bbq. awesome. i ordered a basket of fries and an orange soda from the waitress. mom and dad got some food too. it was a nice night out. on the way home we stopped at walmart for some stuff.
now we're home and i'm going to watch a bit of tv with dad before bed

today is my mom and dad's anniversary. they've been married for ages now. how did they celebrate?
dad went to work and mom went to the dentist. fun fun. i went to the dentist with mom. i got to watch the whole thing. it looked kind of scary but mom said it wasn't. first mom had this huge weird looking thing put in her mouth and the lady took a million pictures. the pictures were xrays of mom's teeth. neat.
after the xrays the lady went to work cleaning mom's teeth. there were lots of scraping and sucking sounds. no screaming though so i guess it just looks worse than it really is. after mom's teeth were nice and clean the lady polished them up. the dentist came and checked everything out. she said mom had 4 small cavities. 4!
mom said she was feeling rather worn out after the dentist so we just went home. i watched despicable me, again. i am loving mr groob.
in the afternoon mom and i went to the park. there were a million kids running around. i got my ball and kicked it up and down the field. there were a couple kids who came and played kick too. i went on the slides and then mom said it was time to go. booo. i wanted to stay longer. mom said we had to go get dinner. we drove across town to the buy one get one free pizza place. mom ordered some food. while it was cooking we walked around publix. mom got a couple bottles of soda. pizza and soda go together nicely. we picked up the food and it was back home for us.
dad's home now. we're going to have a little pizza party and watch movies. yeah friday night.

it's the 1 of march. spring is almost here. nothing super exciting about today.

mom and i went to the park for a bit and ran around. i kicked my ball. it's kind of wet and blah out but i'm from england. wet and blah doesn't stop me.
