i spelled my first words for mom today. all by myself. i was playing with my letters. i pulled out an O and a K and held them up to mom- this spells OK. then i dug around in the pile and pulled out an N. i held up the N and O, this one spells NO. mom was all impressed.
today mom and i just had a lazy day around the house. we watched science shows on tv and played. i watched a couple educational videos. nothing super exciting to report.

today has been an ok kind of day. i had a good sleep. got up and mom made me a big bowl of crunchie pillows with honey. i ate my breakfast time all up and then had a banana. dad went to work. i played with my toys. mom and i got dressed.
mom said we had some chores to do. first stop was the post office. we mailed a few things off. the post office didn't take long. we managed to beat the morning rush of old people collecting their pensions and buying stamps.  mom was all- see, it pays to get to the post office early. stopped at a few charity shops we don't usually go to because they are so far off the usual route.
didn't find anything in the charity shops. mom said- how about we look at the map and have an adventure. ok. i like adventures. so we headed off. we walked and walked. i asked a million questions while we walked. finally we ended up at a park. whoo-hoo. i love parks. we went to belmount park or something like that. i've been there before but it was on a rainy day so i didn't get to do much. today the sun was kind of out and it hasn't been rainy for ages. all the toys were dry. i went on the huge twisty slide. i went on the big regular slide. then mom convinced me to check out the little kids side.
there was a great climbing thing and a wooden train engine at the little kids playground. i had a blast running around and climbing on stuff and then pretending to drive the train. some other kids came to play and kind of ruined my good time. i wanted to drive the train but then another little boy showed up and i had to share. meh. mom said it was time to do other stuff anyway.
mom and i went to check out the little flower garden. we took some pictures. there weren't many flowers. but i had fun using my new camera. when we were done doing pictures mom said i could pick one more thing to do before we left. i said- big slide. so i went on the big twisting slide a couple more times before mom dragged me off to do the shopping.
followed mom back to our side of town. we went to tesco and bought things on the list. then it was time to go back home.
nothing really exciting going on this afternoon. i ate my usual lunch. i watched some videos with mom. we've been watching school house rock. i'm learning about american history, grammar, math, money and science. my favorite video so far is about circulation. the heart pumps blood to the lungs and then around the body.
i had a nap even though i didn't want to. right now i'm supposed to be picking up my toys but i'm playing with them instead. hopefully soon dad will be home.

today is sunday. not a whole heck of a lot going on. dad went off to the gym and work. mom and i watched a few videos. she's been making me watch educational things. it's ok. i like learning things. i've been practising my reading and learning about america. i watched a little bit of a movie called- the little mermaid. it's got talking fish.
mom and i went for a walk around town. first we hit boots to pick up more batteries. my camera is not working right and mom thinks maybe new batteries might help. so we bought more batteries. mom and i sat on the bench outside of boots and worked on the camera. new batteries didn't help. mom was all- oh well. we'll still go on a walk and take some pictures. we'll get another camera.
mom and i walked down the highstreet all the way to the river. did you know there was a big old bridge there? mom says the bridge is from medieval times, that's a long time ago. mom and i sat and ate some chocolate cookies in the sunshine. when we were done she read a few pages from my learn photography book. then we walked around the bridge and took pictures. it was kind of cool to walk on a big old bridge from olden times.
when we were done it was back home for us, all the way up the hill again. mom took me the back way home, pass where erin and greg  used to live. i stomped through an old graveyard and we looked down on everyone in the valley. it's been kind of hazy out so the view was not the best.
got home just in time for lunch. dad came home too. i talked to him a bit before mom shooed me off for a nap. mom is obsessed with naps.
had my nap. when i got up dad was gone back to work so mom and i did stuff. we played toys and watched cartoons. dad came home just in time for back to the future. mom says i need to watch the movie and pay attention. if i can crack the secrets of time travel, i'll be all set.

there was a time warp during the night.

today was super exciting. i got up this morning and dad made a huge batch of blueberry banana pantakes. i ate 2 huge pantakes. they were so tasty.
mom and dad did some talking. the end result was instead of going grocery shopping, we would have an adventure. i like adventures. so we all got ready for a surprise day out. mom packed a bag full of stuff. we all got dressed and climbed in the car.
dad drove the car for a long time. mom fell asleep and then i fell asleep. i woke up and mom was all- we're almost there. where? it's a surprise. finally dad parked the car and we all got out at the seaside. i love the seaside. we weren't at teignmouth though. mom said we were at a place called sennen cove, way down at the end of england in cornwall. we had a nice long walk on the beach. i walked with dad. we climbed on some rocks and looked in rock pools. mom just bumbled along behind us taking pictures. mom said we should be on the look out for basking sharks. there were no basking sharks in the rock pools. all we saw there was seaweed. it was fun though.
we stomped back towards town for lunch. there was a little beach side restaurant open so we ate there. mom ordered me a bowl of green soup, it was huge! and green. i like leak and potato soup. i ate most of the bowl, eventually. it was pretty hot so i had to wait for it to cool down. dad had a tuner samich and mom got a cream tea. since we were at the seaside mom said i could have some ice cream after lunch. dad and i shared a cup of mango sorbet. it was delicious.
we walked around a little more. the town is not very big. i saw some boats and fishing pots. we went for another walk on the beach. there were loads of rock pools to explore and jump in. i got covered in sand. mom was not impressed. when it was time to go i had to stand in the sink at the bathroom while mom tried to wash sand off of me. the water was cold.
everyone got back in the car and dad drove us down the road some more, all the way to the very end of england. mom and i jumped out of the car at this place called- land's end. dad stayed in the car while the two of us ran around taking pictures. i saw the first/last post box and the first/last house in england. mom made me stand next to a sign that said- dangerous cliffs. that made me nervous. she took my picture while i looked at a sign pointing the way to new york. i didn't see new york. after mom had enough pictures we ran back to the car. dad drove us all the way back to exeter again.
before we got home there was a stop at the big sainsbury's for our usual saturday shopping. we filled the cart full of things and then paid. late afternoon grocery shopping is not as good as early morning shopping. there was hardly anything left on the shelves.
got home and ate a good dinner. mom says i need to get a bath now to wash off all the sand. tonight the clocks spring ahead.

this morning was pretty good. i went out with jammma and grdad for a walk around town. jammma wanted to do shopping so grdad and i had to follow along behind her. we were rewarded for our good behaviour with a trip to the park. i had so much fun at the park. there were a load of big kids there but i didn't let that bother me. i wanted to use the trampoline and a group of girls were sitting around the edge. i found an opening and squeezed through. i jumped up and down while they watched me. yeah i showed off for the big girls. they thought i was cute. one of them offered me candy and i said- no thanks, too much sugar. i sat down with them and had a little chat. i'm not shy.
i'm a little sad this afternoon. jammma and grdad left. i put on a brave face. there was no crying, just a quick see you soon. i curled up with blueberry and mom. she gave me loads of cuddles and we watched the last few minutes of night at the museum 2. mom told me how the museum in the  movie is not that far from dana bunny's house. mom said that one day we'll go visit it and see all the neat stuff they have stored there at the smithsonian. i thought that sounded like fun.
after the movie ended it was nap time. i took blueberry off to my room and we had a good sleep. i woke up and i was still kind of sad. i cuddled up with mom and she put on a movie called the little mermaid. i've never seen that movie before. mom said there would be lots of singing fish, and there were. it was an interesting story but i got really sad after awhile. i asked mom to turn the movie off and take me to tesco to buy bread and pantakes.  cried a little. mom gave me hugs. i'm just so sad.
mom and i went to tescos. i got to ride my scooter. i did a pretty good job avoiding the other travellers. got to the store and walked around. mom picked out a loaf of bread. unfortunately i couldn't talk her into buying any pantakes.
got home and mom made dinner. i was rather horrified to discover she put pasta stars in my tomato soup. i told her- i can't eat stars, they make me gag. mom was all- just go slow and try. humph. i managed to eat the soup without puking everywhere. mom asked me if i wanted carrot cake for a treat, no thanks just some orange jelly please. and that was that. i ate my dinner up. now i'm going to sit on the couch watching ben and holly.

i've had a super fun day. i woke up and went to say good morning to mom. she gave me a card and a pen and told me to write a birthday message to grdad. so i made a few letters and then drew a couple pictures. mom sealed up the card and gave me another one from dad to deliver. i went running in the bedroom and jumped on grdad's bed to wake him up. since he was still asleep i opened the cards up for him.
after everyone was awake and dressed i went to the seaside with grdad and jammma. we left mom home to do whatever it is she does. the seaside was awesome. i had so much fun. for the longest time i've been asking to play crazy golf but jammma and grdad always say- not today. well when i asked today they said- sure why not. i love golf. i had so much fun hitting the little ball around trying to get it in the hole.
when we got home this afternoon mom had made pies for grdad's happy birthday treat. i like pie. instead of having my usual dinner at home, we all went out to eat. me, grdad, jammma and mom all walked to the pub. at the pub we found dad and erin waiting for us. we all sat down and ate a bunch of burgers. i had a plate of french fries with ketchup. the pub is really big and loud. i'm not a huge fan of hanging out there. i wasn't really interested in eating the fries so dad ended up eating them for me. i spent the time just playing with erin's phone. when  mom and jammma were done they took me home.
i'm just going to have a quick snack before i grab blueberry and hit my bed. i'm beat after such a long day.

i'm home now. i've been checking over my things. things seem to be different. i gave my mom some hugs and kisses. more like she tackled me and almost smothered me in kisses before i could escape. she asked me a million questions and i just play with my toys. it's been a long day so i'm going to get my stories and head off to bed.

i have to pack up alllll my stuff today. it's time to go home again to see my mom and dad. humph. i've been having so much fun in derby.

today i am going to burton. it's arts and crafts day. i am going to make stuff. i hope there's glitter. after the crafts i'm sure there will be charity shopping. whoo-hoo. i bet i can talk jammma into buying me something.

i called my mom today. i told her all about going to playgroup. playgroup today was awesome. i got to be the doctor. no one else could be the doctor, only me. i had the red cross fix you up box and the office. i took people's blood pressure. being the doctor was hard work so i took a break and jumped in the ball pit. oh yeah, doctors know how to live it up. i'm having so much fun.

i called my old moms before getting ready for bed. hello mom. i told her about the adventure i had today. i went out with jammma, grdad, eleanor and amy. we went to an activity center, you know an place to climb and slide and jump in ball pits. oh it was great fun. eleanor thinks because she can walk now that she can follow me around. ahah, i'm too fast for you. i was all over the place. i had a super fun day.
i told mom that i had plans to hit chucklebuddies with reese and patrick. we're totally going to have a big guy's day out.
i'm super busy having loads of fun at jammma's and grdad's.

it's my mom and dad's anniversary today. happy getting married day.
i did some arts and crafts today, glue and glitter baby. jammma lets me make all the mess i want.
