monday. there's always got to be a monday. this morning mom and i braved the cold for a wander around town. we got a few things on mom's list and then hurried home. it's freaken cold out.
mom said that we had to tidy up the house because people were coming at lunch time. so i just jumped around asking mom a million questions while she cleaned up my pile of toys. who's coming? what's a plumber do? what's wrong with the potty. so on and so forth.
i ate a good lunch. i asked mom for 5aday so she made me a cheese salad samich on a soft roll. i made sure she put on extra onions, just how i like it. i ate most of the samich, it was pretty big. i had some apple chunks. lunch finished just in time.
just as mom was done cleaning up the crumbs there was a knock on the door. who's there? who's there? mom opened the door and let the plumber and the landlady in.  people! the plumber went in our bathroom and fiddled around for awhile. i ran around the house and showed off for the landlady. it was all very exciting.
unlucky for me the plumber finished just before naptime so he and the landlady left. mom said- naptime. ugh. stupid nap. i am tired of taking naps. i had a little rest only because i knew i'd never hear the end of it from mom if i didn't.
not much going on the rest of the day. i did a little poop in my pants but the big poops have gone in the potty. mom said i could have apricots every time i went in the potty. i really like apricots.

it's sunday. just me and mom being lazy around the house. dad had to go do stuff and i got stuck home with mom. for awhile i just hid under the blankets on the couch. mom asked me if i was ever coming out- no, not until dad gets home. i just want to watch how it's made. i got mad at mom because no station was showing it today. i don't understand how mom can boss me around so much and not be able to boss the tv around too. make it come on! meh.
i eventually crawled out from under the blankies and climbed into the big bed. i asked mom to put pingu on for me, and she did. watching pingu cheered me up lots. i laughed and laughed.
mom didn't laugh so much today. she's peeved i keep making poops in my pants. i had to sit and listen to her read everybody poops. i don't want to talk about it. i don't want to know about it. mention poops and i just run from the room.

last night i got to sleep with dad. we staid up late watching pingu and talking about guy stuff. i've missed my dad. got up this morning and had a couple pantakes. they were ok. after everyone ate we got dressed and did the usual saturday thing.
dad drove us to the grocery stores and we walked around putting things in the cart. we didn't really need a lot of stuff so shopping didn't take long. there weren't many people out today. it's pretty cold.
got home and dad went to work. i played with my toys and begged mom to take me to the park. can we go to the park? can we go to the park? can we go to the park? after a lot of that mom finally said- yes, we can go to the park. cool. or should that be cold? it's freaken cold out. mom dressed me up warm though.(that took awhile. mom says lots of my clothes and hats seem to be missing.)
got to the park and no one was there. just me and mom. a few kids came but they quickly left. no one wants to play when it's freezing out. more fun for me i guess.
after the park mom and i walked through town. town was not very busy either. mom said everyone was home trying to stay warm. the veg lady was out though. she had pineapples on offer so mom and i picked 2 to take home. whoohooo, fresh pineapple.
that's about it for excitement and fun. mom made me take a nap. i told her i didn't want to nap. i didn't need a nap. i wasn't tired. mom said she didn't care, we take naps in this house. i fell asleep pretty much right away when i got in bed. i guess i was tired after all. mom woke me up later and said- i told you so.
mom made me sit on the potty until i did poops. i had to try a few times but a pretty good sized one did come out in the end. i still managed to poop in my pants later though. mom says i make a lot of poop.
my dad is home now. it's time to hang out.

today i am sad. really really sad. jammma and grdad packed up their things and left. even worse, they left me here. i didn't cry when they left but there sure has been some tears today. i can't find the santana cd that grdad said i could borrow, so i'm crying about that. i'm crying because dad left for work and isn't home yet. i'm crying because i'm thinking about jammma and grdad. mom and i spent pretty much the whole day snuggling on the couch. she gave me lots of cuddles and said- it's ok to cry and be sad.
i had a few accidents today. i landed a massive poop in the potty but all the poop balls went in my pants. oh well. mom said if it happens again we'll have to read everybody poops just to review the process.

it's my last full day of fun with jammma and grdad for awhile. they have to go back to derby tomorrow morning. so today we are going out and having FUN! i don't know where though, no one will tell me. it's supposed to be a surprise

today i went to newton abbot. i had never been to newton abbot before. grdad told me to ask mom if she wanted to go, so i did. mom said- why yes, i'd like to go. grdad drove me, jammma and mom in the car. the direction lady told us which way to go since grdad had never been there before either. there was lots of 'recalculating; at the next roundabout take the right exit.'
newton abbot is not the most exciting place in the world. grdad and i got dragged along by mom and jammma to every charity shop around. one after the other. i did a bit of complaining and mom told me off. i found a few things that i wanted to take home but mom said- no. then i showed them to jammma and said- please buy this for me while jumping up and down. mom really scowled at me then. lucky for me looks can not kill.
at lunch time jamma said- shame there isn't a subway and mom was all- yes there is, it's this way... mom led us to the subway and we all had tasty 5 a day samiches for special treat. mom shared her soda with me and i got to eat potato chips. i shared mom's veggie delight samich, she made sure to get extra onions. just how i like it. i also had a bite of jammma's sub and stole some of her olives. grdad hooked me up with a toasted cheese slice too, so i was pretty full after lunch.
after subway we all headed over to asda. i wasn't so sure since it's a different asda then what i am used to, at first i didn't want to go in. but i did and checked it out. it's a big asda, lots of things to look at. i helped grdad put things in the cart and then we were done. mom did her own shopping and met us back at the car when she was done.
we left newton abbot and went home to exeter. mom was all- we'll get home just in time for naps. NAPS? i don't want a nap. mom was all- too bad, we're all having a nap. jammma said she thought that sounded like a great idea so i was pretty much screwed. we all had stupid naps, except grdad. he made a huge fruit salad while the rest of us slept.
got up from my nap and mom was all- how would you like to go visit erin and mr greg's house tonight? they've invited us all over for a delicious dinner. so right on, i'm going to a dinner party.
erin's and greg's was pretty cool. their new house is pretty nice. they have a massive tv and i got to watch my pingu dvd on it. pingu was almost as big as me! everyone stuffed themselves with greg's cooking. i tried a green bean. it was ok in that i ate the whole thing but i didn't want more than 1. erin and i took turns tickling each other and laughing hysterically. she showed me her plants. she has a plant that eats bugs! what kind of world is this? plants that eat bugs. how strange. she also has a plant made out of spiders. well i guess it is, she said it was called a spiderplant. i had a really good time. now it's super late so i better get to bed

busy day today. grdad and jammma are staying for a few days and we are having adventures. today's journey is to the seaside. we've got a picnic and bags of stuff packed. off we go for a fun day out.

i am home. i knocked on the door and mom let me in. i ran around and checked on all my toys. i found a pile of stuff that santa left for me. i gave my mom some hugs. it was all very exciting. i was pleased to see all my toys and friends are present and accounted for. i love the things that santa left for me. i got some remote control build it yourself robots. they are way cool. i also got a multiplication bop-it. that is my favorite right now. mom says it will help me learn my times tables.

today is my last day in derby for awhile. grdad has to work. just me and jammma having some adventures. i was going to go home this afternoon but mom said since grdad had to work, i might as well stay until tomorrow. whoooohoo.

had a fun adventure today. gdad had to work most of the day. jammma took me in to town and we caught the fast bus to nottingham. oh yeah. jammma and i spent the day having fun in the bigger city. it's fun walking around new places, i get to see interesting things.
after a fun day out got home and ate some food. i had a splash in the bath before bed. eleanor was over so i had to share my bubbles with her.

super busy day full of fun things. i went swimming with grdad and fishy. it was kind of cold. fishy staid in the car, he said- no thanks, i'm not swimming in cold water. so just grdad and i went in the pool. it was kind of cold but not too bad. i had a good swim. after the pool we got dry.
we went home and did stuff. i went out later with grdad and jamma. we found some other kids and there was a football game. i ran around kicking the ball and having fun with big boys.
i called my mom before bed and told her what i did today.

today i went to burton with jammma and grdad. there was craft time to hit. today we made hats. i made a hat. it's pretty cool. i called my mom to tell her about making a hat and i showed it to her over the phone. see mom, see, i made a hat. mom was all- very nice.
burton is great fun. i ran around the playground, went to the lieberry and squeezed in some shopping before it was time to go home again.

oh yeah. i got to go to chucklebuddies today and it was awesome. i went down the big dark tunnel. i ran around and played. eleanor came too, it was her first time. i showed her what is what. we had so much fun. we're talking serious fun. i'm having a great time visiting with jammma and grdad.
i called mom before bed and told her all about the stuff i've been doing. she was impressed i went down the dark tunnel by myself

feeling blah. i got the stupid cold everyone else had. it's saturday though and patrick's birthday party. i'm going to get myself together and go to his party. i'm not going to miss out on fun because my nose is a little stuffy.

stupid cold. i don't want to sleep. i want to run around and have fun. blah. blueberry and i are going back to bed

all i can do is sleep. everything else just takes too much effort. more sleep

today was my old mom's birthday. grdad dialed the phone for me and i gave her a call. i tried punching the numbers myself but i kept getting it wrong. apparently using the phone is more complicated then it looks. first grdad called the house but no one picked up the phone, what the heck. then he called dad's cell phone. i talked to my dad. i told him happy birthday. dad was all like- it's not my birthday, it's your mom's talk to her. so that's how i got to talk to my mom. i told her happy birthday. i assured her i was being a good boy and listening to jammma and grdad. i told her it was patrik's birthday soon too and that i was going to his party with eleanor. mom said that her and dad were out to eat at a restaurant and she would save me some cake. whoo-hooo.
other than that, i'm just hanging out with jammma and grdad, doing secret stuff in derby

mom and dad left. they packed up all the bags, got in the car and drove off. i get to stay with jammma and grdad. phew. there was some concern. mom wasn't sure if i should stay because jammma and grdad haven't been feeling very well the past few days and she wasn't sure if they were up to having a lively 3year old in the house(that's me). i made sad faces at her and then grdad made sad faces at her and then jammma made sad faces too. i had to promise to be a super good boy and help with all the chores and to not cause trouble before mom finally agreed- yes you can stay.
i'm going to have so much fun this visit. grdad got me an awesome red sled, not it just has to snow. patrik is having a birthday party soon. best of all i get to help grdad do chores around the house. i want to drill some more things.

i went to sleep last night and woke up this morning to find it's a whole new year. crazy. days, weeks, months, hours, minutes, seconds. i don't think i will ever get this time thing figured out. it's constantly changing.
not a whole heck of a lot going on. i'm playing with my toys and watching shows on cbeebies. i like cbeebies, mom does not. we had a little argument earlier about programing. mom was all- cbeebies is for babies, no one ever talks in these shows, weird creatures just make weird noises and fall over. and i was all- cbeebies is not for babies, i'm not a baby, i like these shows. go away already. mom agreed that mr tumble was ok and mr maker was good enough but anything with a foam head was not. dad and i talked about it and we decided mom doesn't know anything about culture.
