ok so, mom and i waited and finally got off the plane. mom and i walked around the airport. she carried her bags and i dragged my bag behind me. we walked for ever. it took ages to get to passport control. we waited and eventually some guy called us up. he stamped our books and mom turned to me and said- welcome home son.
we walked around some more and went to find our big rolly bag. we stood around with a lot of other people waiting for bags to come down the shute. some dogs were walking around sniffing people. one gave me a big sniff and just walked off. mom said they were working dogs. we finally got our bag and mom said we could leave.
we hung out waiting for dana bunny to find us. she said we should just stand in one place and dana would come for us. um, ok. so we stood around. next thing i know this buggy is running into the back of my legs and this strange woman is asking me if i want a ride. i looked and the woman looked just like my mom- dana bunny. she did find us. she took us to the car and we drove away.
we drove up to this little green house and got out of the car. i walked inside and was introduced to greatest gram- GG. hello GG. she looks just like dana bunny and moms, just older.

killing time at the airport.
yeah. mom has been going on for weeks now on how we were going to the airport and going to get on the plane. blah blah blah. whatever mom. well yesterday it finally happened. mom woke me up at a stupid hour and got me dressed. i choked down some breakfast and we all got in the car. grandad drove, auntie amy hung out, mom tried not to fall asleep and i just looked out the window wondering where in the hell we were going, too early in the morning.
we went to the airport. there were lots of people, loads of rolly bags. grandad and auntie amy helped mom and i wait in line. we handed in one of our bags and mom talked to a few people in suits, nothing very exciting.
i had to say good bye to auntie amy and grandad. that didn't make me too happy. mom said we had to face our big adventure alone but they would come find us again when we were done. oh ok. as long as i get to see them later. i walked down the hall and followed the lines of people. mom talked to more guys in suits and had to keep showing her blue books and pieces of paper to them. i managed to get through security. i teased a metal detector while mom was busy trying to get our bags sorted for the x-ray machine. the security lady was not too impressed. i didn't set off the metal detector, neither did mom since we know: the metal detector decects metal.
mom and i hung out for awhile waiting for our plane. i played with bob the builder. i helped mom buy some water. we walked around looking at stuff. i sat and practiced my driving while planes landed outside the window. the airport was pretty cool. i got really pissed off at mom when she said it was time to leave the race car game and go wait in line for the plane. i threw myself on the ground and made a big scene. mom was horrified so i just cried louder.
getting on the plane was no big deal. once the anouncer lady said- those requiring special assistance and with small children may now board, mom and i took off for the plane. we had to walk outside and then up some stairs in order to get on. planes are really freaken big when you stand next to them. mom found our seats and we sat down without any trouble. i sat next to the window right behind the wing. i watched people scurry around outside. after waiting for ages mom said i had to sit down and get buckled up, captain's rules and since he flies the plane we have to listen. so i sat down and let mom buckle me up. the plane started to make all kinds of loud noise and move real fast. i wasn't bothered one bit. i just grabbed blankie and shut my eyes.
when i opened my eyes mom said it was lunch time. oh, ok. some how the airline never found out i wanted a kids meal even though it says on my ticket reservation- kids meal. i had to eat a big persons meal. mom ordered me the grilled chicken. it was very tasty. i ate some and a bit of the mashed potatoes that came with it. not bad for airplane food. after lunch i just sort of goofed off as much as mom would let me. i wiggled around in my seat. i opened and closed the window blind. there were two little girls sitting in the row in front so i made faces at them. they were pretty naughty and kept getting told off by their dad. they also dropped all kinds of cool stuff on the floor. i got down on the floor and picked up all the stuff they dropped. at different points durning the trip i had a pink bear wearing a night cap, a sticker book about numbers and a purple pencil- i used that to color all over my tray table. mom says all and all i did really great. i was a good boy on the plane.
it was hard though. we were on the plane for hour and hours. eventually though the plane landed and we all got off. mom and i got off almost last. she said it was no use trying to hurry and rush since everyone infront of us had to get off first.
