i called my mom and my dad yesterday and filled them in on my easter. i played hunt the rabbit. i found a rabbit and a chick. patrick gave me a chocolate egg. eleanor has a toy washing machine. it has a door that opens and closes just like a real machine. we put uncle toms socks in there and washed them. toy washing machine is pretty cool.
today is monday. it's like an extra sunday in england. lots of people have the day off and some shops are closed. the weather has been super nice so i've just been playing outside and having fun.

happy easter everyone. i hope you all managed to hide your chocolate so the easter bunny didn't steal it. i'm at my grdad and jammma's house. there is always a lot of chocolate around here. if i find any today i am totally going to eat some.

having a good time in derby. the weather is super nice. i've instructed jammma to set up my sandpit and paddling pool so i can relax in style. when the backyard is ready for fun i'm going to invite eleanor and patrick over to play.

well today i am off. bye bye see you laters. my bags are packed. i've gathered a few friends to take with me. i'm on my way to grdad and jammma's house for a nice long visit.

i went to the seaside today. grdad drove me and jammma in the car. i took my scooter. i was doing my thing in the skatepark when mom, dad and uncle tom walked up to say hi. where did they come from? what a surprise. everyone really is at the seaside today.
i had a great time  in teignmouth. i got to ride my scooter. i played some football with dad and uncle tom. i got to eat 5aday from subway. so much fun. not so fun was cracking my ankle when my scooter swung around. i got hit right on the bone. ouchie. there's a big bruise there now but mom kissed it so it should feel better soon. other than that it was an awesome day

and now grdad is here! oh my goodness this is so exciting.

uncle tom is here! this is so exciting. uncle tom hardly ever comes down to my house for a visit. we're going to have so much fun doing guy stuff with dad.

i am having a really busy week. good thing it's friday.

today's adventure was a car trip to wells and glastonbury in the car with dad, mom and jammma. it was pretty good. i didn't have to do too much boring stuff, just lots of walking. we ended up doing a big circular tour around the glastonbury abbey wall because we should have turned left instead of going right. oh well. at least glastonbury is nice to look at. we stopped at the abbey barn for directions. the barn is really old. i chased some cheeky birds i saw hopping in the grass.
on the way to the abbey we walked past a park. we finally got to the abbey. dad really wasn't into paying a bunch of money to look at a pile of old rocks. mom was all- how about you take hardwick to the park and you guys can eat samiches and play. whooo-hooo. i get to spend time with dad instead of looking at boring rocks.
i had a great time with dad. i really like doing things with him. the park was good. we played for awhile and then went back to the car. mom and jammma showed up a short time later and we all drove off to wells.
i did not want to get out of the car at wells. i was rather put out that dad did not drive us home. there was a bit of a scene which ended in me being pulled out of the car kicking and screaming. mom was all- you are going to wells and you are going to like it. humph.
the big people were hungry so we stumbled around town looking for food. we ended up at subway. i like subway. even though i already had my lunch, i helped jammma eat hers too. mmmmm five-a-day.
the thing to see in wells is their big old church. dad was all- i'm not paying money to go in a church, suggested donation or not. so it was decided that dad and i could skip the church and play outside on the green while jammma and mom got bored to death inside. dad and i wandered around. i found an open door on the side of the church, so i went in. dad followed me. we snuck into the church. we found mom and jammma and walked around with them for a bit. the church was pretty good. there was a big long hall and i ran allllllll the way down it. my feet made a great noise on the stones, it was super loud. mom caught me and i got a good telling off for running in church. according to mom you can only run in church if your pants are on fire. i walked around with dad. we walked past a bunch of candles that were flickering away. i tried to blow them out.
there was a super old clock in the church. when the big hand pointed to 12 it started chiming. some figures came out and spun around a few times, it was pretty cool. after much walking around and looking at things we decided to have a hot chocolate break. awesome! so we all went to the cafe. mom ordered me a hot chocolate with harshmellows and jammma shared her slice of lemon cake with me. i guess mom was right. i am rather liking wells.
and that was how i spent the day. after hot chocolate we walked back to the car and dad drove us home again. i slept pretty much the whole way. now i'm going to get some dinner and then storytime.

today has been kind of blah. it's really grey and kind of damp. in an attempt to entertain myself i spent the morning running around the house and throwing toys- everywhere. i made a huge mess. mom made frowny faces at me. finally mom said- let's go outside for a walk around town.
mom and i walked here and there. we got a few things on the shopping list. as we walked through town mom spotted someone she kept calling little bopeep. she pointed to this person but all i could see were two sheep. two sheep, in the middle of town! that's just silly. then i saw little bopeep. she and the sheep were getting their picture taken. i think sheep are a little weird so we didn't stay to watch. mom and i walked around some more before heading home. except, we didn't head home. mom took me to northernhay park and then we went through the wall into rougemount gardens. mom said i want to see how fast you can run. she pulled out her watch and told me to run down the hill and then run all the way down the valley and then back to her. that's probably about 50yards there and back! i ran the route 3 times before i caught on to mom's trick. she just wanted to tire me out. sneaky. i ran up and down the big hills too and played under the big pine tree. i had a nice time. i asked mom earlier if we could go to the park but she said no, so it was a nice surprise that she took me there.
got home and had some lunch. i was pretty worn out and curled up on the couch with blueberry. i had a good nap and woke up all refreshed. i ran around the house some more and gave mom a hard time about picking up toys. she was all- we seriously need to get things tidy around here- now! but why mommy? but why? no but whys, just do it! i didn't tidy. i let mom do all the work.
dad came home and we hung out on the couch. i was getting a little sleepy. mom said- hey, your dad is going you better see what he's doing. i snapped awake. where are you going dad? is it the office? can i go, can i go?
mom helped me get ready and i went off with dad. i thought he was just going to the office but instead we went to the train station. jammma! we found jammma at the train station. i was totally surprised. mom never said anything about her coming to visit.

today has been kind of nice. the sun is shining. mom and i walked around town for a bit looking at stuff. even though we're not buying anything, i still like to look in the charity shops. i told mom this morning- let's go to the shops and look at cool things but not buy it. so that's what we did with the morning.
while we were walking around mom said- it's a pretty nice day. how about we get a milkshake and sit at the cathedral for a bit. hell yes! we went to the new milkshake store and mom ordered a daim(swedish chocolate+caramel) shake. the man made it for us and we left the shop. we walked across the street and sat in front of the cathedral. mom drank a bit and then i got some. we shared. the shake was super good.
got home just in time for lunch. did the usual afternoon things. watched some cartoons and played until mom sent me off for a nap.
nothing really exciting happened until after dinner. mom stuffed me full of food and then we went to the park. whooo-hooo. i love this time of year. going to the park after dinner rules. on the way to the park we walked past a dead crow. it looked like it was sleeping on the sidewalk but mom was all- no, it's dead. got to the park, mom and i had the whole place to ourselves.
i had a great time running around and just being silly. i saw some cheeky birds making a mess with things from the trash can. the seagulls were pulling out trash and then the little birds were jumping around getting all the crumbs. i chased the birds because i like doing that.  silly birds.
going home now because it's getting a little dark now. think i will watch ben and holly for a bit

today was super awesome. mom and i went to the movies! she took me to see rio, it's a cartoon with talking birds. i really like the movies. this was my second time going. i asked mom to buy popcorns and she did. we got tickets and a kid pack of popcorns. we had to walk up some stairs to get to the theater. there was so much stuff to look at. so many lights and bright colors. it's all very exciting. mom and i found some good seats. i had a hard time seeing so mom got me a booster. i sat on that and i could see much better. i got comfortable. i tucked my bag of popcorns down next to me. mom dug around in her bag and whipped out blueberry. i spread him out over my legs. the theater got all dark and the commercials started. there was one about a man who lives with a bunch of penguins. i laughed because the penguins were trying to dance. mom said that it was a new movie coming out in a few months and maybe we could see it when we were in america. i hope so.
the movie finally started. i sat and watched. it was pretty good. there was a talking toucan! there were also some very naughty marmoset monkeys. i got a little fidgety towards the end but only because, it's hard to sit still for so long. i had a really good time and liked the movie.
mom and i headed home. mom was all- it's kind of late, how about we get pizza for lunch. hell yes! movie and a pizza, this must be my lucky day.

fishie is back! he's been missing for most of the week. who knew he was so good at playing hide and seek? mom and i have been looking for him all over the place and i just found him last night before bed. he crawled into my work bag.
today has been pretty good. this morning i hung out with mom. she was all- pick up your toys. i was more interested in pretending to be in a washing machine. then i pretended my toy bin was a racing car and the engine needed fixing. blueberry is good with car engines so he helped with the repairs. then it the toy bin turned from a car to a washing machine again. me and all the toys got clean.
mom fed me lunch while i watched ben and holly. dad came home while i was eating my apple. he and mom had a disagreement about what to do with the rest of the day. there was much grrrrrr. in the end it was decided that dad and i should have a guys day out. so i am off to have fun with my dad. we're going to do some chores and then play football in the sunshine. whoo-hoo.

today is saturday and that means- pantakes! dad was late getting up. i kept going in the bedroom to see if he was ready to make breakfast. pantakes pantakes pantakes. finally he got up and made us all a big batch of blueberry pantakes. i ate 3!
after pantakes we all went out to do the food shopping. nothing too exciting about that today. mom is all- we're getting ready to move and stuff so we need to use up the food in the house before we go. we're just getting random things to help use up the things we have.
we got home and dad went off to work. mom and i just played toys and watched my educational videos. i like learning stuff. i ate lunch and then mom made me take a nap.
i had a nice rest. when i woke up mom was all- get your clothes on, we'll go to the park before dinner. awesome. i like the park. i had a good run around.

i have a sneaking suspicion that today is friday and mom is avoiding taking me to playgroup. i won't say anything though. i'm sure we'll have fun doing other stuff.

today was not as exciting as yesterday but it was still pretty fun. the weather has been nice. lots of sunshine. mom and i went out this morning to walk around town taking pictures. we walked here and there and everywhere. it was pretty fun. i definitely got my fresh air and exercise. we also managed to find time to hit the library, again. that's twice in one week. mom returned a couple books and then checked out a couple more. there was no one in the little kid's part so i got to play on the computer for awhile and ride the horse. before heading home for lunch mom and i stopped at tescos to buy things on our list.
got home just in time for peanut butter samiches. we must have been gone for hours. i ate lunch then mom and i just hung out doing stuff. i went off and had my nap.
got up from nap a little while later. had a bit of dinner and then mom was all- let's go play in the park! whoo-hoo. i grabbed my scooter and we went to the park. mom made me ride around the whole park twice before i could go on any of the rides. scooting around the park is hard work. i managed to avoid the poop piles this time.
dad should be home soon, so i'm just waiting for him. we're going to hang out

today i had a super adventure. mom and i did our usual thing. we got up, ate some food. then mom was all- we have to hurry up and go to town. we need to get the chores done super early today. but why mommy? because we're going on a surprise adventure later. really? where? it's a surprise. so we did the shopping and got things on our list.
mom and i got home. i asked a million questions and mom was all- watch 2 episodes of spongebob and then it will be time for an adventure. i sat on the couch while mom did things in the kitchen. spongebob ended and i was all- now what? what are we going to do? mom said- wait for it. then all of a sudden dad came walking in the door. dad's home! and it's not even lunch time. dad sat on the couch and i asked him a million questions. all that i could figure out is we're going to a party for someone dad works with.
finally dad said it was time to go. me, mom and dad all  piled in the car. dad drove us up to the university and erin jumped in the car. hi erin! we're going to a party.
dad drove out into the countryside, just a few minutes from exeter. there were lots of hills and fields. we pulled into a driveway for a house and everyone jumped up. i went running up to the door of the house and a woman was standing there. she said hello and tried to give me a big hug. i wasn't so sure about that but i said hello back. mom came up and said- hello to the lady, nora. mom said it was ok to go in the house, so i did.. i sat down to take my shoes off. nora said- please, keep your shoes on, go on in and play. that about blew my mind. YOU CAN'T HAVE SHOES ON IN THE HOUSE! mom was all- it's ok, nora says it's fine. i'm not convinced.
there were loads of people in the house. there was another lady dressed like nora but not nora, her name was fatima. she saw me and squealed, then tried to hug me and give me loads of kisses. i managed to escape with only a few kisses. nora's house was super nice. there were glass doors to the back of the house that people kept going in and out of. she had a massive backyard with real grass and a slope. i ran down the slope to the fence at the edge of the yard. on the other side of the fence were sheep and really tiny horses. i said hi to the horses and then ran back up to the house. mom followed me to make sure i wasn't getting into trouble. she found me sitting next to the front door taking off my shoes. wearing shoes in the house was totally freaking me out.
nora's house was super cool. i saw the biggest tv ever. there was a giant bowl of candy on the coffee table. nora said i should help myself to anything i wanted. nora has two daughters who have their very own playroom. a room, just for kids, full of toys. it was awesome.
nora and fatima are from a different country, called kuwait. they made a huge lunch for everyone with dishes from their country. mom was all- this is like the chinese buffet only with kuwaiti food. there was a lot of food. dad ate 4 plates of chicken and there was still leftovers for everyone to take home. i had a peanut butter samich that mom made me. mom also let me have some candy. what a day.
after the candy mom made me run around outside some more. she told me to lie down and roll down the hill. um, what? get on the ground and roll down. i gave it a try, i rolled kind of sideways but it was fun. mom told me to keep trying until i rolled down straight. there was lots of rolling and running back up the hill but eventually i got 1 good roll in.
i had a super fun day.

kind of a rainy tuesday. meh. well not so much rainy as grey and damp. for fun today mom and i hit the library. surprisingly it was not very busy. i got to work on the computer in the kid's library. i really enjoy doing that. i also got to have a good long ride on the rocking horse. mom dragged me off to look at grown up stories. i was not really thrilled with that. i could spend all day at the library but just the kid's part. so mom got a pile of books. mom picked a story for me too which she let me check out. i handed the librarian the book and my card and she took care of the rest.
after the library mom and i went to tesco. we got a few things on the list before heading home. that was pretty much my day. i've just spent the rest of my time running cars around the house. baby toucan is learning how to drive, i've been teaching him. we're having a great time.

this morning mom and i went out to take photos at some different churches in town. i had my camera and mom had hers. we walked around and around. it was an ok adventure. saw some diggers working when we stopped on the iron bridge. that was cool. the big digger was knocking down an old wall and scraping up the ground. when mom and i were done taking pictures we hit the charity shops.
mom is all about buying some book so i got dragged around to every store in town looking for some portugal book. portugal is not a popular subject in england i guess because we had no luck. mom did find a cool science kit about optics to buy though. i'm going to spend the rest of the day playing with mirrors and lens. i am all about science.

today is english mother's day. i gave my mom a hug and told her i loved her but i was going to do that anyway.
not much to report about today. mom and i went for a walk around town. we took some photos in the park. kind of a super boring day, even for a sunday

had an ok saturday, even though mom made me take a nap. stupid naps.
got up this morning. had a really good lie in. i think i got up around 8am. some times it nice to just lie around in bed sleeping and thinking. dad hooked me up with some french toast for breakfast. it was pretty good. i think he just pulled it out of the freezer, it as chewier than normal. i don't really care as long as i get lots of butter and chemical syrup.
after breakfast mom got me dressed and then the grown ups got dressed. we all jumped in the car for our usual saturday morning grocery shopping trip. we went to aldi and got a load of fruit. mangos are cheap this week. i like mangos. we went to sainsbury. nothing too exciting in store. mom bought a load of corn chips. i like corn chips. when the shopping was done we all got back in the car. instead of just leaving dad drove the car to the gas station. mom said the car was thirsty and dad had to fill it back up again. i wanted to help but mom said- no, just sit there. dad was going to fill up the tires too with fresh air but the air station was broken. i talked dad into getting a car wash instead. squeee! i love going through the car wash. the soap got squirted on us, the big brushes came over and shook the car and then finally the blower came and dried us. car wash was good fun.
we went home. dad unpacked the groceries and then went off to work. mom and i spent the rest of the morning hanging out playing and doing stuff. mom sent me off for a nap but i didn't really have one, i did quiet time instead. i sat in bed and read through one of my science books. every once in awhile i shouted out- can i get up yet and mom would mumble back- no, go to sleep.
finally mom said i could get up. we got our shoes on and went over to northernhay gardens to take pictures. i took pictures of flowers and stuff. it was nice.
home now waiting for dad to get back. we're going to hang out on the couch and see who can fart the loudest. guy stuff, you know

i went to the park with mom after dinner was done. dad met us there. the park was great fun. mom let me ride my scooter there. then she made me ride the scooter around the park 2 before i could do anything else. that was hard work. i got told off for rolling through a pile of leaves. mom was all- leaves are usually full of poop, do not ride through them, PLEASE!. i rode through a big bunch of leaves anyway and sure enough i ended up covered in poop. oh well.
