today is a weird pretend day that only comes around once every 4 years. what the heck?
i talked to jammma and grdad for a bit on the skype this morning. i talked a lot about video games. i am all about the video games. i wish i could play video games all day long, every day but mom doesn't let me.
after skype mom and i just did every day kind of stuff. we went to the park. there were a million kids there, all a little younger than me. we all ran around together and played nice though. it's a super nice day out, lots of sun and very warm. mom brought my soccer ball so i kicked that up and down the field a bit. i'm practising. mom says i am going to start playing soccer soon at the Y. awesome!
after the park mom and i hit the grocery store. we bought a couple things. mom asked if i wanted 5aday for lunch- yes please! so we went and ordered up a couple veggie delights. it was free cookie day at subway on account of it being leapday or whatever.
got home just in time for lunch. i ate up my veggie sub and a couple of chips. it was very tasty.
other than that mom and i have just been watching penguin shows. i watched a movie called mr popper's penguins. it was very silly. there were very cheeky penguins living in mr popper's house. after that i watched penguins of madagascar.
dad should be home soon. whoo-hoo.

today is ronnie and uncle matt's birthday. happy birthday guys!
mom and i had to do incredibly boring things this morning. i thought i as going to fall asleep it was sooooo dull.
we went and did taxes. what that means exactly i don't know. mom said something about how the government takes money from dad every 2 weeks. sometimes you pay too much money and after you send in your taxes, the government gives it back. ok whatever. mom sat next to this guy and answered a bunch of questions. the guy punched information into the computer. i watched everything very closely. meh. like 2hrs later the man finally hit send and taxes were declared done for the year.
mom said since i was a super good boy we could go out for a special lunch. we went to sonics. mom ordered us a bunch of food and we went back to the house. i ate french fries and ketchup for lunch, washed down with a yummy chocolate shake. my favorite.
it finally stopped raining and the sun came out. mom and i went to the park for a little bit in the late afternoon. i ran around and burned off some energy. it's nice to run around.
dad is home now. we're going to hang out

oh look- more rain. nothing at all exciting to report. for real. jammma and grdad have gone out so i didn't even get to skype with them today. mom and i went to walmart for a couple of things and that's was it. long boring day.

it's sunday and that means- me and dad. today has been super awesome. i've spent the whole day just hanging out with dad. mom has been hiding out in the bedroom. it's been very rainy out so dad and i have to amuse ourselves. dad went in the closet and pulled out a bunch of lego! we watched spongebob and did legos.

not much going on today. i spent a little time hanging out with dad this morning before mom and i dropped him off at work. mom took me to target. they were running a dr seuss party. mom said it was in celebration of his birthday. we got there a few minutes late. we sat and listened to some girls read cat in the hat and then the places you will go. truth be told it was kind of bad. the girls didn't read that well. they ran out of gift bags so i didn't get any treats. booo. mom and i walked around and did some shopping.
mom asked me if i wanted to hit any yardsales. no, i just want to go home. mom took me to a yardsale anyway. the sad pets shelter was having a benefit. we walked around. i found i math turbotwist. awesome! i have the spelling one and the multiplication one. i love turbotwist games. i took it up to the cash lady and asked her how much it was. she said- for you, 50cents. score! mom gave me a dollar and i paid for my new toy. the lady gave me change but mom said we could put that in the donation box. the lady asked us if we wanted to adopt any sad pet but mom said- no.
mom drove us home. we just spent the day hanging out. i played with my toys. dad should be home soon. i can't wait to see him.

today was a bit weird. mom's computer freaked out causing mom to freak out which kind of shot our day. i was talking with jammma and grdad on skype when everything froze up. mom had to turn off the computer but then it didn't want to turn back on. what the heck? some bad words were said.
mom and i got dressed and we went out shopping instead. we went to a couple flea markets which have open up in town. flea markets are kind of like carboot sale, except everything is inside. if you're lucky, there's no actual fleas around. that would be kind of gross. we walked around and looked at things. there really wasn't much going on.
since we were over by walmart, mom and i paid a visit there. i sat in the cart while mom pushed me around. we got things to snack on. we didn't really need much since we had already visited walmart this week. i kind of wanted to visit the park but mom said it was way too windy out. this is the kind of wind where tree limbs and pinecones rain down on your head. that doesn't sound  like much fun.
got home and had some lunch. mom and i watched a couple movies. nothing super exciting. mom eventually got her computer working again. phew. that's a good thing.
my dad is home now so i'm going to hang out with him.

my dad is home early again. i am going to hang out with him and watch some scrubs.
today was just a chill day with mom. we didn't do anything. it's been kind of rainy so everything is wet. mom and i decided the best way to spend the day would be to sit around in our relaxing pants watching movies. so that's what we did.
i am really into despicable me right now. mom asked me what i wanted to watch and that is my first choice.
i've been eating alright. i just finished a big bowl of orange soup mom made me. more tomorrow. i'm off.

my dad is home so just a quick update.
got up this morning and no dad. what the heck? i had a really good sleep though so i was ready to go go go. dad went to the gym before i got up. fair enough. mom and i did our usual morning thing. i was super hungry today so i had 2 bowls of crunchie pillows. first i had the small flat ones with honey. the box says they are called- wheat chex. very nice. i was still hungry so mom shared her cinnamon pillows with me. those were awesome! the box says those ones are called 'life'. I LOVE LIFE! i hope mom will share with me again.
i watched some morning shows. mom turned on skype and i had a quick chat with jammma and grdad in england. mostly i just clicked around and messed with mom's camera program. i also sat there playing my video game for a bit. mom came in and was all- what the heck? she made me say good bye and dragged me off to do the chores. well not really. first we went to the park.
i asked mom if we could go ride my bike and she said- sure, why not. so we went to the park with lanes. no one was there. i had the whole place to myself. i rode my bike around the track for a whole mile. that's really hard work. i only have a small bike. it takes a lot of peddling to turn that little wheel for a mile. i wanted to go use the swings too but mom said- nope. boooo.
we got back in the car and mom drove us across town. we went to some shops that we normally don't visit.
our first stop was tjmaxx.(same as tkmaxx, why they changed the j to a k mom does not know.) we walked around looking at things. mom found a nice new blankie. after we paid it was back out to the car.
our next stop was the health food store. i walked around with mom and we looked at everything. it was kind of boring. mom got a couple things for her basket. she picked up something she said were magic chocolate pudding seeds. now that is interesting. mom says all you have to do is put them in some milk and in a few hours you get chocolate pudding. awesome.
after the health food shopping it was off to publix. ahhh publix. mom and i got a bunch of stuff we really didn't need but it was on sale and eventually we'll need it. dad calls that hoarding, mom calls it being prepared. we got a cart full of pizza and apple sauce. allllright.
got home right at lunch time. i had marmite on toast. that is my new go to lunch. i am really enjoying salty things right now.  mom made pizza. i got a slice of that too. it was cooked just the way i like it.
other than that i've just been hanging out with mom. we've watched a couple movies. a thunderstorm rolled through. there were some loud bangs.

i've had a pretty good day. got up this morning and had to poop. i did a massive fart. it was funny. there was poopoo. i told mom- come look, it's like a little snake. i'm back to pooping like a pro.
mom said today is pantake day. i haven't had pantakes in ages. mom made up a batch of blueberry ones. i ate some and they were good. mom and i hung out doing our waking up thing. i missed dad this morning. he left before i got up. boo.
mom and i got dressed. we drove to the park with lanes. mom wrestled my bike out of the car and i rode around and around. i did a mile on the track. it was good fun. after i did my mile mom and i went over to the playground. there were no kids out day. i had the place to myself. i went down the slide. before we left i talked mom into pushing me on the swings. we had a nice time at the park.
after the fun it was time for chores. mom and i went to walmart. mom pushed me around in the cart while she got things on her list. it really wasn't that exciting. the pineapple poked me and i built a tower out of cereal boxes and cans. i saw a little girl in one of the aisles. she was my age. she was being naughty. her mom told her not to touch things on the shelves but she did anyway. her mom told her off so she started hitting her mom. i just stared at her like she was crazy because i'm pretty sure she was.
so that was walmart. i helped put things on the counter and we checked out. mom paid and out the door we went.
got home and it's just been a relaxing day. i watched a couple shows. i've been playing my leappad explorer. it's nice to be home and having some quiet days. i can't wait until dad gets home so we can hang out

i know, i know it's been awhile. i've been super busy having different adventures. first it was thanksgiving, then it was christmas, then it was new years, then it was time to go to england for a month. but now i am home.
today was the first day of back to normalness. mom says we aren't doing anything fun or interesting for a very long time so i've got lots of time to update the old blog.
it's monday. i slept pretty well. mom made me sleep in my room, all by myself. that kind of sucked. i kicked off and protested a bit but in the end i went to sleep. i slept all night long and didn't get up until 6am. so that's a pretty good way to start the day.
i spent a little time with dad before he went off to work. bye dad. mom made me a big bowl of cereal. i ate it up.
there was some dispute about eating the banana. in the end mom and i split it. i've decided that i don't like apples or bananas any more.
i watched my morning shows. it's nice to have pbs kids back. mom turned on the skype so i could talk with jammma and grdad. i had a quick chat with them. i wanted to talk longer but mom hurried me out the door.
today it's getting chores done day. i helped mom drop the laundry off to get washed. i pushed the money in and turned the machines on. we also took the trash out and did the recycling. our next stop was the Y!
awesome. i haven't been to the Y in ages. mom dropped me off in the playroom while she hit the gym.
there were a couple kids there today since it's a school holiday. we all got to play outside. it was great. i didn't want to go when mom came to collect me. i'm having too much fun!
mom and i went back to put the clothes in the dryer. we stopped at the house to get some hoodies since it is a little cool out today. while the clothes got dry we went to the big park. there were a million kids all running around. i ran around too. i went up and down the slide and the fireman pole. i wanted to stay all day but once again mom dragged me off to do chores.
we went back and collected the laundry. whoo-hoo(sarcastic style) mom sorted out the laundry while i hung out and played games. and that's been my day. mom and i have just been watching back to the future and relaxing. our morning was so full of stuff, it's nice to have a break. dad should be home soon
