it's friday and that means- PLAYGROUP! i love playgroup. when mom said we were going today i ran to the door and got my shoes so we could get ready and go. mom and i got there kind of early and helped set things up. i got to pick one of the activities. i had a choice between puzzles or the lego village. i picked legos because everyone knows- legos rule! i helped set up the wooden train tracks. it was awesome. there was loads of tracks and tunnels and cranes. doolittle and her brother were there. they are rather unpleasant children. i do my best to avoid them but the brother wanted to play trains. apparently only he could play trains, he didn't want to share with anyone but his friends, i looked around and noticed he didn't have any friends which means he just wanted all the trains to himself. he cried at his dad and his dad told him to suck it up and share. ha. there were about 4 other boys and a couple of girls and we all played trains together, nicely. i did a trade with one boy because he had a steam roller i wanted to try so i gave him one of my train cars, we were both happy. doolittle just ran around screaming. she was mad at her dad for ignoring her. she was mad other kids were playing and having fun. she was mad that someone touched the snack try and tried to share out the snacks. she just screeches and screams and throw constant fits. most of the noise is caused by her, and you can't really say anything because her dad is the boss of the playgroup. besides trains i drove one of the big red cars around. i did a great job driving. i didn't run anyone over. i played in the kitchen and made some imagination tea. on and there was a trampoline today and i had a go on that. i had such a great time. when mom said it was time to go i cried, tears and everything. i wish we could stay all day, everyday. mom promised we could come back next time, so i calmed down and got my coat on.
after playgroup mom and i hit the shops. we looked in the stores. i saw a few things i wanted. i picked up one truck and told mom- take home, take home. find the lady and pay. mom just laughed at me. she said if i had money in my pocket i could buy it. i checked- no money. so mom said- no truck. get 10 stars and then you get a new car. humph. i had to leave the store empty handed.
