it's a cold and wet day out. mom says- welcome to winter. we'll be lucky to see the sun again before april. that's the way it goes. had a busy morning. mom did like a million chores and i helped. we even managed to find time to get dressed and go to art class. art class was only just ok today. we got to play with a parashoot during song time, that was great fun. for art time we mixed water and corn starch together with the idea of using it like paint on the paper. i wasn't so into that. first i dumped a water dish on my paper, then i tried to dump the starch on the floor. mom finally got the water and starched mixed in a different bowl, it was gross. i poked it and did not like it one bit. it stuck to my fingers and made me messy. so i just left mom to the painting with starch while i carried on trying to dump containers of stuff. for the second part of art time we got sticky puffs and beads to play with. i found some scissors and just cut up a load of sticky puffs. that i liked. i like playing with scissors.
after art class mom and i ventured out for a walk around the shops. i pointed to toys and mom said- no toys, we need a new pot. we went into a load of shops and mom didn't find any pots but i did get a new toy. i found a cool digger truck and mom said i could get it. eventually it started to rain and mom said we could go home.
got home and there was a package, postman! the postman left us a surprise from dana bunny. so mom opened it up and pulled out a bunch of boring stuff: paper, paper, shirt, blah. and then she reached in and pulled out pete. oh my god, it's pete! i grabbed him away and gave him a big kiss. pete's come all the way from america to stay with me. so now i have pete, pete and pete.
mom made me lunch. i got peanut butter and jelly today. i was so hungry i ate the whole thing before mom could get back from the kitchen with my milk.
since it's pissing down rain mom and i are just going to snuggle under our blankies and spend the afternoon watching movies.
