today i went to the seaside, on the train with jammma and grdad. we had a fantastic time. the sun was out for a bit and it was just warm enough. when the sun went away it did get rather cold. it's great going to the seaside in winter time though, you get the whole place to yourself. i played on the beach and picked up some shells. grdad did us a nice picnic lunch of cheese samiches. we went to the playground and i went on all the rides. i had a little nap in buggy while jammma and grdad went around the shops.
after the seaside we got on the train and went back home. grdad called mom on the phone and told her to look out the window. mom came out on the deck and we waved at her from the trainstation.
got home and told mom all about the seaside. jammma brought out a surprise from her bag, she found a toucan puppet and she brought him to visit with me. then today at the shops jammma found a parrot puppet. i got to play with both of them.
