merry christmas everyone! i've been having a really fun day.
santa came! we got up this morning. i sat and opened the things in my giant spongebob sock. i got so much cool stuff. santa left me a bunch of different candy! and an orange. i also got a compass,calculator and a magnifying glass. how cool is that? i really wanted all of those things. and candy! christmas rules.
mom, gdad and dana opened their stocking type things. mom got a toothbrush. ha! that's not as fun as candy. dad finally got up and he opened his stocking. santa brought him underwear. he got some candy too.
after stocking mom made breakfast time. i got a bowl of crunchie pillows with honey. the big people ate something called baked french toast with a nut crust. there was lots of yums so i'm guessing it tasted good. i tried it last time mom made it and wasn't a fan. i was happy with my bowl of cereal.
when everyone was finished with their morning food mom said it was time to open the rest of the gifts. gdad sat near the tree and passed the gifts around. everyone got something fun to open. there were lots of nice gifts. that santa seems to know what everyone likes. i got some super cool things. there were a few different lego sets. dad and i are going to put those together later. i got an american style football made out of squishy foam. mom called it a nerfball. my two special gifts were- spy gear and an organizer game. with the spy gear i can see in the dark and hear things from really far away. i can steal secrets. the organizer game is super awesome. it has a dictionary, calculator, memo pad and it plays educational games.
the packages all got opened and there were smiles all around. dad and i hung out doing legos and playing with my new organizer. we spent the day sharing toys. it was good fun. mom, dana and gdad watched lots of movies and cooked things. there is food all over the house. name a food, any food, chances are my mom has cooked it recently.
i talked on skype for a bit with jammma and grdad in england. it was nice to hear from them. i'm going to see them soon so i'm trying not to miss them too much.
that's pretty much been my christmas. we didn't have to go out and visit anyone. it was nice to just hang out and do things.

it's christmas eve! we're doing our best to have fun but there is sad news. dana got a phone call from uncle matt and hunter the cat died. there's been lots of crying. hunter was a good cat.
i did manage to have a bit of fun. i sprinkled the reindeer snacks on the ground outside. i helped gdad decorate the christmas tree. mom let me eat cookies before bed. the cookies were good. i tried to sneak another one off santa's cookie plate. i put cookies and carrots out for santa and the reindeer.
other than that my day was just hanging out with dad while mom and dana cooked up a storm in the kitchen. i went out for a little run in the park with mom and gdad. that was fun and all but i really just wanted to do things with dad. we did a lot of science things today. we played with my electric circuit  kit. that was good. we built a couple different things that beeped and made noise. awesome.

today i did last minute shopping with mom and dana. we went to some stores and bought random things. i can't really talk about it because they are surprise things.
there was lots of cooking today. i helped taste things when they were done. mom and dana made something called potica. every time someone said potica gdad smiled. apparently it's super hard to make so no one really makes it any more. as a result gdad never gets any potica. mom said she would make him some for christmas. i tasted this potica, it's pretty nice. mom says it's just solid nuts and honey in a flaky bread. what's not to like about that? potica is a traditional slovian christmas bread.
mom and dana then made something called date and nut bread which is a traditional thing they eat at christmas time. what about me and dad? what kind of english christmas traditional thing are we going to get? mom pulled out a package of brussels sprouts. eeeek! i'll stick with tasty breads and cakes.
mom and dana pretty much spent the whole day in the kitchen and they never bothered to make dinner. what the heck? what are we supposed to eat? dad came home and it was decided dinner should be pizza. so mom and dad set off in the car to find yummy pizza. i staid home and dana tried to feed me some crap in a bowl. i said no thanks and she sent me to my room. boooo. we had a conference and reached a deal that ended our food dispute. i ate some of the crap in the bowl but not the chunks.
dad's back now so i'm going to hang out with him.

i'm home! i had a super great time over on the other side of florida visiting with ms nancy and little catherine.
there were tears when dana said it was time to go back to gainesville. lots of tears. i wanted to stay with ms nancy. i told dana that i would just take the train back. i know the train goes from gainesville to apollo beach. i will take that train! ms nancy is my new most favorite person.
i am home now though and i will admit it is nice to be home. i missed fishy. i told mom about my adventures. i saw manatees. they were hanging out at the power plant. yeah that's right. i got to see manatees and a power plant at the same time. it was super cool. the manatees like the warm water the plant makes so they just float around. i heard them talking, they make silly sounds.
i had a good time with catherine. she's the same age as eleanor. she had a lot of girly toys at her house but i played along anyway. we had fun.
dana said i was a good boy so mom gave me some high fives. right now i'm just waiting until dad gets home. i missed my dad.

today i am off on an adventure with dana bunny and gdad.
this morning mom and dana got up early and went off in the car. mom came back and then dana came back in a different car. mom packed me up a bag with clothes and then a different one with food i like. gdad loaded everything into the new car. now we're off. i'm going to go visit ms nancy and her grandaughter. whoo-hooo

talked to jammmma and grdad for a little while this morning. mostly i just messed around on mom's computer while jammma talked about stuff. mom told me if i was going to mess around i had to go and do chores. booo
another busy day of doing christmas things. i got dragged around by mom and dana. we went shopping. lots and lots of shopping. we went here and there. mom got quarters at the bank. we drove to walmart and walked around forever getting this and that. mom drove us to target because dana wanted to look at pots. we got lots of secret present stuff at target, i'm not supposed to talk about it.
when we finally got home gdad was surprised. we were gone so long he thought we were lost. nope not lost, just busy buying stuff. mom made me some lunch and then sent gdad off to do the laundry. with gdad out of the house, it was time to make cookies! i got to help. mom and dana did most of the work though. there was lots of rolling pin action and then sugar sprinkling. i got to make the first tray of cookies though. i stamped out the dough and sprinkled sugar on the cookies before mom baked them up. i even got to eat a couple cookies. they were super good. i wanted to eat more but mom said they're for santa. apparently santa gets first choice of cookies and then we get to eat the rest christmas morning. fine. i'll wait until christmas morning.
mom and dana decided that we should all eat dinner out since they spent so much time in the kitchen today making cookies. neither of them wanted to make dinner. so mom talked to dad and we're all going out to eat greek food tonight. well not me, i already ate my orange soup. i'm just going to get some french fries. later

we're making christmas. well not me. today i'm hanging out with my dad. mom keeps asking me if i want to go to the park- no thanks. it's just me and dad doing guy stuff.
mom and dana have been working away on christmas ornaments for the tree. whatever keeps them busy i guess.

I SAW SANTA CLAWS! he landed in a helicopter, right in front of me. it was windy and loud but super cool.
this morning started off normal enough. mom made a huge batch of banana chocolate chip waffles. mom and dana headed out early to do the yardsale thing. i hung out with dad and gdad. dad went to work.
mom and dana came back around 9.30 with a couple things. there was a little table with a secret door, an ugly shirt and a sliver tray. mom says the whole thing only cost $2.75. ok. i like the little table.
there was some hustle and bustle. mom said i had to get dressed so we could do our secret activity today. we all got in the car and mom drove us down the road. we ended up at the small college where we did boo at the zoo.
mom parked in a field with a bunch of other cars. there were a million kids running around. what is this? A BOUNCY CASTLE!
there were a bunch of booths set up. we stopped at the first one, it was for the dyi building store. they were letting kids use hammers! mom got me a craft pack and we sat at a table. i got to hammer nails into wood! when i was done i had built a spice rack. yeah, go me. mom helped a little. some of those nails were tricky to hammer.
we walked around a bit, a few booths were doing christmas decorations so i stopped and mom helped me make decorations for our tree. that was fun. i really just wanted to do the bouncy castles though. mom said i had to wait until after the surprise guest came. boo. we stopped and looked at some animals. mom tried to get me to poke a chicken but i was having none of it. she poked the chicken though and a goat too.
there was a big announcement. kids went running towards the field. mom told dana to take me. so i walked to the field and stood around with all the other kids. mom eventually came up carrying a pizza box and some sodas, awesome. mom said we would have a picnic after the surprise guest came. there was a bunch of noise. i looked up and a helicopter was floating over head. it circled around and then landed in the field right in front of us. neat. the door opened and SANTA got out! there was lots of shouting and excitement. some kids ran up and gave santa hugs. not me though. i found the whole thing to be a little loud.
mom, dana and i walked over to the santa line. it was huge! mom decided we shouldn't bother waiting around for santa. we went and waited in line for the small horses instead. mom tried to get me to touch the horses. yuck. i don't want to touch horses, even if they are smaller than me. mom and dana took pictures of me looking uncomfortable.
we met up with gdad and it was picnic time. mom found us a nice spot in the grass. we all sat and ate some pizza and drank sodas. mom got me a sprite. i like sprite. the pizza was a nice treat. i ate my slice. when the pizza was done we walked around a little more. finally mom said i could do the bouncy castles so we walked over and got in line. i had a great time jumping around with the other kids. i also got to do the gator slide.
what a day. i had a really nice time out.
mom drove us home after i did the bouncy things. we had done everything else so there was no reason to stay longer. we're all going to hang out now watching movies and making more christmas decorations. cool.
i hope dad gets home from work soon so i can hang out with him for a bit.

today i went to the park with mom and gdad. seems gdad needs his exercise and fresh air too. i showed him how i kick my ball around. there was another boy there and he joined me in kicking the ball around. we ran around and had some fun. he got tired because he was little. he went off with his mom to go on the swings. mom and i showed gdad the path in the woods. we walked through the woods. at the bridge we dropped some leaves in the stream. that was fun. i like dropping leaves in the water. we crossed the bridge and showed gdad the clearing. and that was our nature adventure for the day. we headed back to the car and mom drove us home.
i spent most of the day chatting with gdad about stuff and watching movies with him. mom and dana worked on their christmas decorations. and that's what i've been up to.

today there was shopping. lots and lots of shopping. dana bunny pushed me around in the cart while she and mom piled the things in. we got all kinds of random stuff, like pillows and orange juice. there was so much stuff i actually had to get out of the cart because we ran out of room. that's a lot of shopping.
other than that today i just hung out and talked with gdad while mom and dana did christmas crafts. seems we have a tree but nothing to decorate it with.
i did go to the park for a bit this morning. i showed dana bunny how i kick my football around. mom went off to buy things at the drugstore. when she came back i was on the swings getting pushes from dana. ha ha mom, dana will give me as many pushes as i want. i had a good time on the swings.

today mom and i went to go pick up dana bunny and gdad. this trip went much better than the last time we drove to the seaside. i had no accidents. whoo-hooo. go me.
mom drove us to st augustine. she pulled the car over and dana and gdad jumped in with their bags, then off we went back to gainesville. i'm beginning to think americans are crazy. they seriously will drive all day, just for the hell of it. if you're lucky you might get a potty break. we didn't really drive right back to gainesville. gdad wanted to check out this boat store so mom drove us there and we looked at boat junk. they had bins of screws and nails set up just like a pic and mix. that was kind of cool. everything you need for a boat, they had. there was lots of stuff to look at. i even got to touch some of it. we managed to drag gdad away and back to the car. mom drove a bit more before we stopped for lunch.
dana bunny and gdad never ate lunch so they were kind of hungry. mom pulled into a burger king and we ordered food. i got french fries and shared a soda with mom. cool. i also got a potty break. after we were all refreshed it was back in the car and off home.
got home and helped dana and gdad sort out their bags. they're going to crash on our couch for a few days. it's going to be like a big sleepover! dad got home and we decided to go out for dinner. awesome. so we're off to the rib place. i'm so getting a big basket of french fries.

still grey and miserable out. at least it's not raining. today i helped mom get the chores done. first we went and dropped the laundry in the washing machines. while we were there the apartment complex manager lady came to say hello. she handed me a candy cane and said merry christmas. CANDY CANE! i got a candy cane. best day ever!
with the  laundry in the washers mom drove me to the football field park. she handed me my football and told me to go kick it around. the grass was kind of wet but i managed. i kicked that ball all over the place. up and down the field. i love football! when i was done kicking the ball, mom and i got back in the car and drove home.
we went back to the laundry room and put the wet clothes in the dryer. while the clothes were getting dry mom and i went to the grocery store. i sat in the cart sucking on my candy cane while mom got things on her list. i love my candy cane. things were going so well until it happened- i dropped the last bite of my candy cane on the ground. i was about to put it in my mouth but it slipped and fell out of the cart. my day went from great to pure suckage in 2seconds flat. i begged and pleaded with mom to pick up the fallen candy. i asked her to take me back to the manager lady so she could give me a new candy. mom said no to everything. 'you ate most of a candy cane, just be happy with that.' there were some tears. mom doesn't understand. she just kept on shopping like my world wasn't ending. mom got everything on her list and we checked out.
we drove home and put the grocery stuff away before going back to the laundry room. our clothes were all clean and dry. mom and i collected them and brought them back home. i sat on the couch while mom sorted the laundry and put it away. i'm just going to curl up with blueberry and sulk a bit.

monday monday. oh man it is so unpleasant outside. got up this morning but dad was already gone. i had a bit of a lie in. who wants to get out of bed when it's a cold and wet day out? not me. blueberry and i were all snuggled down. mom finally chased me out so i could eat breakfast.
i had a bowl of crunchie pillows. mom turned on skype and i talked to jammma and grdad. i told them about visiting with dana bunny and gdad. we talked about stuff. i wanted to talk longer but mom said it was time to do chores. fine. i said goodbye to jammma and grdad so i could go do stupid stuff with mom.
mom drove us around in the rain. we went to a couple shops and rounded up christmas supplies. so boring.
we got home and mom made me some lunch. i'm just going to curl up with blueberry and watch penguins. one of these days the sun might come back.

waffles! got up this morning and mom made me a huge stack of chocolate chip banana waffles! whoo-hoo. i ate the waffles up and spent some time with dad. mom went out to do things in the car. what? who cares. i get to spend time with my dad doing guy stuff.
mom came home and said it wasn't raining out so we should all go to the park. dad and i got ready and we all went to the big park with lanes. mom tried to take me to the playground area but i said- i want to ride my bike on the lanes and made sad faces at her. she she drove us around the corner to the lanes. dad got my bike out and i rode around and around. it was great. i did 5 laps today, which is more than 1mile!
i parked my bike and took my helmet off. mom found a basketball under a bench. i ran over to her and stole the ball away. i kicked it around a bit. mom and dad took turns shooting baskets and when it was my turn i kicked the ball around. mom accidentally bounced the ball into my face and there were some tears. i told her to pass it to me, so she did. i just didn't catch it with my hands. then when i was kicking the ball around i tripped and landed on my back. there were more tears. i fell over a couple times and whacked my knees. more tears there too. i had a good time running around even though i was getting banged up. i wanted to stay longer even when mom said it was time for chocolate milkshakes.
finally i had enough playing and we all got in the car. dad drove us around the corner to sonics. we ordered some tasty things for lunch. while we were waiting we saw one of the roller girls fall right on her butt. looks like gravity is giving everyone a hard time today. our food came and dad drove us home to eat. i got a really great chocolate banana milkshake and stole some of mom's french fries. mom also made me a peanut butter samich.
i've had plenty of fresh air and outside time. now we're all going to hang out watching movies and doing family things.

got up a little late this morning. mom and dad we all ready to go go go. what the heck man, it's saturday. where's my waffles? mom handed me a banana, got me dressed and we went out the door. it's not even 8am yet. come on now. 

mom and i drove dad to work. bye dad, see you later i guess. mom plugged in the talking lady and off we went to some yardsales. oh, i didn't know it was yardsale day. cool. it's not really a nice day, very rainy out. good thing mom picked inside sales to visit today. we went to a couple schools that were having fundraising sales. i found a cool number board and talked mom into getting it for me. the numbers are set up in a big square. 1+1=2. you press down the 1+1 button and you can see the answer. neat. mom found a few things to buy too. nothing interesting though. we paid for our stuff and went to another sale. these guys has snacks. mom hooked me up with a blueberry muffin. awesome. we dug around and found a few more things to get. i got a big talking board which is all about the united states. you press buttons and it tells you different things about all the states. mom said the state game should keep me busy enough on this nasty rainy day.

we're home now. i'm going to play with my new games and watch back to the future. it is so not nice out.

mom and i have just been hanging out recovering from our big adventure. i went to the park for a little while and ran around but that's about it really. we're worn out from all the excitement.

today has been fun. i got to spend the night on dana bunny and gdad's boat. it was kind of cold and rainy. i was huddled up with blueberry, so i was nice and warm. dana bunny got up and made us all pantakes! i love pantakes. what a nice treat. it's kind of cold and windy out so it was decided we should call for a ride to shore. dana called the boathouse and they said the next boat was in 15min. there was lots of hustle but we all managed to get ready in time. the marina water taxi came right at 10am and picked us all up, along with a million bags.
we got to shore and walked through town. we walked and walked and finally got to the parking garage where mom left her car. we tossed all the bags in the car. across the street from the garage was a very big playground. we all walked over and i got to run around the park while mom and dana decided what we should do with the day. mom called me over and asked me if i wanted to go visit a toucan. YES!
we all got in the car and mom drove us back across the bridge to where we were yesterday. we pulled into a parking lot and got out at the alligator farm/zoo.
oh man. the zoo was soo cool. there were only a handful of people there so it was like having the whole place to ourselves. i saw the toucans. they were right by the front door. there were two of them hanging out. they looked at me. i said hello to them. i love toucans. i walked around with mom. we looked at gators. there were lots of gators. every where you turned, gators here, there and everywhere. gators are kind of smelly and lazy. we saw other things too. there were different kinds of birds, snakes and some small monkeys to visit. we saw the gators get fed dead guinea pigs. that was kind of wild. we walked out in the swamp and got to feed the gators there. for 25cents i got a huge handful of something that looks like crunchie cat food. we took turns sprinkling it in the water and watching the gators eat. after that we went and fed ourselves.
we ate at the toucan canteen. mom ordered me some french fries and a sprite. my favorites! the grown ups got burgers and hotdogs. i did not want to try those things. while we were eating lunch a lady went by carrying huge parrots. mom looked at the program and saw there was a parrot show in a few minutes in the building next to us. so we all finished eating and went to the parrot show.
the parrots were good. i saw one do a big poop. that was funny. they did some talking and climbing on things. the lady said parrots live like 50years and are as smart as a 3year old. mom said no way are we ever getting one. that's fine. i just want a toucan.
we walked around the zoo a bit more and then it was time to go. dana and gdad needed to catch the water taxi and we needed to drive back to gainesville.
mom drove us across the bridge to the side dana and gdad are staying. we stopped at a red light and dana and gdad just jumped out of the car. bye i guess. mom just drove us back to gainesville.
we made it home and i didn't have any accidents! i can't wait to see dad and tell him all about my adventure.

today mom and i had an adventure. we drove in the car. there was lots of driving. i had an accident. i told mom i needed to pee. she said there was no place to stop and she couldn't pull over because someone was right behind her. there was no safe place to stop, it's just trees and road. i couldn't wait and the pee all went in my pants. it was very upsetting. i wanted blueberry but he was in a bag on the far side of the couch. mom said not to worry about it, sometimes pee happens.
we drove some more. finally we got to st augustine. there was a lots of traffic. i shouted at mom- i need to pee! she said- give me your bottle. so unscrewed the top of the bottle and gave it back to me. mom said- pee in the bottle if you need to go. but there's still orange juice in there. so i drank some of the juice. then i was messing around and ooops. i spilled the rest of the juice on the car seat. that did not make mom happy.
mom found the place were we needed to be. dana bunny and gdad came walking up to the car. mom told them what happened. there was tsking about the juice spilling. mom got me some clothes and we crossed the road to the marina bathrooms. i got to pee in the potty and then mom cleaned me up and i got some fresh clothes. phew. now i'm ready for a day in st augustine.
dana bunny and gdad showed us around town. we walked down the main tourist strip. there were lots of little shops and restaurants. we stopped at an ice cream shop. mom said since i was having a bit of a rough day, maybe a milkshake might cheer me up. hell yes! i walked up to the counter and placed my order- i would like a scoop of chocolate ice cream, please. mom pulled me back and said- wouldn't you rather have a milkshake? i whispered at her- i want what i ordered. the guy behind the counter was trying hard not to laugh. mom said- ok, chocolate ice cream in a cup then. so the counter guy got that for me. i went and sat at a table and ate my ice cream treat. i shared a little with gdad and mom. it was good ice cream.
we walked a little more down the street. finally we got to the end and found a place to eat. i wanted to order a milkshake but mom said- no way. when the waitress came i told her what i wanted for lunch- french fries with ketchup please. then mom ordered me a pink lemon aid to drink. my favorite. the grown ups got mexican food. the food was very tasty.
after we all got stuffed with lunch there was more walking. we went back to the car. mom drove us over this big bridge into the other part of st augustine. we were going to visit the lighthouse and seaside but first we stopped at a drugstore. mom forgot to pack me night time pants. so we walked around the drug store and picked up night time pants. dana and gdad got things they needed. we walked out to the car and found the weather went from nice and sunny to dark, cloudy and kind of windy. what the hell?
since the weather turned un nice, it was decided we should go back to the boat to hunker down. mom parked the car. dana, gdad and i got in the little boat with the over night stuff and went out to dana's big boat- the rachelle e. dana and i got on to the big boat with stuff and gdad went back to get mom.
dana showed me around the boat. i saw the potty and used it. i checked out the different equipment. there's lots of stuff to see on a boat. ages later gdad and mom finally floated up. mom had a huge pizza. awesome!
i didn't really want pizza. dana bunny heated me up some orange soup she had in the boat freezer. it was yummy. i ate it with a garlic roll mom brought back with the pizza. it was wonderful.
so we're going to hang out doing boat stuff. i'm going to help gdad use the radio.

today is all about cookies! i like cookies. mom and i went out this morning and did a little shopping at the grocery store. we got things for dad's dinner. on the way home mom stopped at the park. i got out and ran around. there was a smaller boy there and we chased each other around a bit. mom made me run across the football field and the boy ran with me. i won the race. i went on the slides. i had a good play. i didn't want to leave when mom said it was time to go. i like the park.
got home and mom made my samiches. i ate them up. mom put on some spongebob for me to watch while she worked in the kitchen. there was lots of banging and cursing. mom said making christmas cookies sounds more fun than it really is. after waiting for ages mom finally produced a plate with a few cookies for me to try. they were tasty. i like christmas cookies! i wanted more but mom said- no, they're for dad's office party. booo.
and that was my day. it took mom hours to make cookies so she was out of my hair. i got to do whatever i wanted. so i just watched spongebob and built a fort out of pillows. good times.

monday. got up this morning and dad had already left. mom made my usual breakfast of crunchie pillows. i ate them up. i called grdad and jammma on skype. i talked with them for a little bit. i wanted to talk longer but mom said it was time to go. boooo. i said good bye to jammma and grdad and turned off skype
mom and i got dressed and off to walmart we went. i sat in the cart while mom pushed me around. we went around and around, up and down the aisles. kind of boring. mom just put things in the cart and i built them into a tower. while we were walking mom pointed and said- look! i turned and looked. standing in the middle of the aisle was SANTA! i said hello santa and shook his hand. santa asked if i wanted anything special for christmas- A PINK TAG MAKER! santa said he would do his best to find one. i got a little shaky and sat back down. meeting santa is a pretty intense experience. i waved bye to santa and mom pushed me off to finish the shopping.
got home and ate some lunch. mom and i called dana bunny and i said happy birthday to her.
not sure what i'm going to do with the rest of my day.

happy birthday dana bunny! it's my dana's birthday. mom says we'll call her later.
sunday sunday sunday. i really like sunday. i get to spend the day hanging out with dad! and mom. it's hard to shake mom.
today mom dragged us off to the haile plantation homestead. they're doing some kind of free christmas in olden times day. the haile plantation house is famous because the people who used to live there wrote on the walls of the house. most people just paint a color on the wall or get some wallpaper. these people were into graffiti i guess. so we walked around the house and i couldn't touch the walls. the house is also important because it was built by slaves. there are not many houses from that time period left in FL. or something. mom was just blah blah blahing. i was running around trying to touch stuff. it was not a very exciting day out. we only staid at the house for an hour or so.
we didn't go right home. mom drove us to the park for our usual sunday ride around. dad got my bike out of the trunk and i put on my helmet. i rode around the lanes on the track. it's fun. when i was done with my laps i spent some time at the playground. after i had a good run around it was time to go home.
got home and now we're just going to hang out watching movies. sundays are awesome.

it's saturday. got up this morning and mom made some yummy waffles for us. i like waffles.
i hung out with dad for a little bit while mom went out to some yardsales. dad and i watched football on the tv and did guy stuff.
mom came home and we all got in the car. we drove dad to work. bye dad, see you later. mom and i went to a couple more yardsales before heading home for lunch. i got a couple cool things. some older boys wanted to find a good home for their mr potato head game so they just gave it to me. awesome!
i'm going to sit on the couch and play the mr potato head game and watch back to the future. i think that's a pretty good way to spend a day.

kind of a quiet friday around here. mom and i have just been hanging out.

not much exciting going on around here. it was super cold this morning. mom even turned the heat on for awhile. she said it was only in the 30's outside and below 60 in the house. i wrapped up in blueberry and he kept me warm. i was able to talk mom into a plate full of chocolate chip waffles for breakfast this morning. awesome.
did the usual. watched my morning shows while mom puttered around. mom did stuff in the kitchen which resulted in some kind of chocolate chip pie being produced. i am so eating some of that later.
mom decided that we should do laundry so she went around the house and gathered up all the dirty things. we dropped the laundry off in the washers. i got to push the money in to make the machines go. since watching the clothes get clean is really boring mom took me to the grocery store instead.
mom had a list of things and we walked around the store putting things in the cart. we got things like raspberry cranberry juice- yum. there was some chicken and veggies in there too. you know, the usual grocery things. mom got everything she needed so we went and paid.
on the way home we stopped at the laundry room. i helped mom take the clothes out of the washer and put them in the dryer. my job is to push the money slider in, that activates the machine. and on the dryer i get to press the start button. so that's what i did.
once the clothes were spinning around and getting dry mom took me and the groceries home. i ran around the house while she put things away. once all the stuff was away mom made my lunch- peanut butter samiches.
ate lunch and watched some educations shows mom put on for me. i've been watching school house rock. mom says she used to watch that when she was my age. today i learned how the earth goes around the sun, lots of turning is involved.
that's pretty much been my day. we went and got the laundry when it was dry. just your average doing chores kind of day.

got up this morning and dad was already gone. fair enough, i did have a bit of a lie in. it's kind of cold this morning. brrrr. i was all snuggled down in my blankies. when i finally dragged myself out of bed mom fed me some crunchie pillows. i watched a bit of tv and then it was time to use skype. mom turns it on for me and then i take over.
i clicked on the green  phone and called grdad and jammma in england. they answered and i had a nice chat with them. aunty amy and eleanor were there too so i got to talk with them too. it was very fun. i don't get to chat with aunty amy much. i wish i could have talked longer but mom said it was time to go do stuff. so i clicked the phone and turned skype off.
mom got me dressed and we jumped in the car. she drove us to the art supply store. the pink tag maker is at the art supply store! i walked around with mom looking at different things. she stopped and put a few things in her basket. nothing very exciting, just things for different projects. finally we made it to the tag maker section. the pink one was there and i showed mom all the different buttons and told her what they all do. i asked her to take me to a wishing well so i could wish for a tag maker. mom said- no. you don't need a $50 tag maker and i have no idea where there is a wishing well around here. sometime my mom is not much fun.
we stood in line for a bit. there was a little girl in front of us with her mom. the little girl kept touching stuff. every time she touched something i told my mom. look, look, that girl is touching things! and mom told me to stop tattling.
we finally paid and that was that. mom drove us home, except we didn't go home. mom made a turn and we ended up at a park! she parked the car and i said- i've been hoping for this! we've been to this park before but not for ages. there were loads of kids running around. i ran around too. i had lots of fun. mom took me over to the baseball field and i had to run around the entire field. like i've said before- baseball fields are big.
when i was done running the field mom gave me a hi five and we went back to the kid's park. i ran around the park and climbed ladders and went down slides. run run run. mom said it was time to go. but i don't want to go! mom said- if you run around the baseball field again, we can stay a little longer. I WANT TO RUN AROUND THE FIELD AGAIN! so mom and i went back to the field and i ran around it again. i got another hi five and back to the kid's park it was. i ran around and went up and down slides. every few minutes mom asked if i was hungry yet- NO! so she said- run around some more then. and i did. finally mom said- time to go so i followed her back to the car. i am kind of hungry.
got home right at samich time. mom made me some peanut butter samiches and i ate them up.
now it's just time for hanging out and watching my shows. mom says we're watching educational things today.

nothing exciting about today. i'm in a grumpity mood. mom dragged me off grocery shopping this morning. we didn't really need much, just some bread and bananas. even our shopping is boring today.
on the way home mom turned into this parking lot and we got out of the car- at a park! who knew there was a park here? the playground equipment was all wet though, how is this fun? i can't use the slide, i can't use the swings. meh.
mom and i walked around. we took a path through the woods. we crossed over a little stream. i stopped and tossed leaves in the water to watch them float. mom said she could see little fishes but i didn't see any. on the other side of the stream was a field. mom tried to get me to run across the field but i wasn't interested. so we just went back to the bridge and i tossed more leaves in the water.
i followed mom back through the woods to the car. she drove me home. it was lunch time when we got back so i got my usual peanut butter samiches. mom said since i'm so grumpity today it was nap time. boooo. i got blueberry and fishy. we curled up and had a little sleep.
i'm in a little better mood now. going to hang out and work on my translator.

it's monday. i had a chat on skype this morning with grdad. i would have talked longer but mom said it was time to get the shopping done.
mom drove us to a charity shop. we looked at things but didn't find anything to buy. we went to the charity shop across the way and found a bunch of cookie cutters and a  pair of shoes for me so i guess the stop was worth it.
we got back in the car and mom took us to walmart. i sat in the cart while she pushed me around. blah blah blah.
mom got things on her list and i sat in the cart rearranging them. we got everything mom wanted so mom pushed us to the counter and paid.
got outside just before it started to rain. boooo rain. mom drove us home and i ran up the stairs. looks like it's going to rain all day. i'm going to curl up with blueberry and watch spongebob.

i'm busy having guy time with dad. we're off to the park.

had an alright day. got up and mom made us cinnamon apple waffles. they were pretty darn tasty. i like waffles with lots of butter and chemical syrup. mom was all go go go this morning. she got me dressed and then made dad get dressed. we got out the door for 8am.
mom drove dad to work. he's got things to do and what not. bye dad, see you later. it's saturday morning and that means- yard sales. mom drove us around to a couple houses. we didn't really find anything good today. it's a holiday weekend so must people are doing other things. not many sales to visit. that's ok. mom and i had a nice drive around.
we got home and had a bathroom break. mom was all- do you want to go to a cane boil? are they making candy canes? i want to see candy canes. not quite, but there might be pumpkin frybread. I LOVE PUMPKIN FRYBREAD! so back in the car we went. mom drove us to morningside nature park. the place was packed. there were cars everywhere. we finally found a place to park. we walked through the woods to the olden times farm. i've been here before. last time we visited no one was around through. today there were loads of people and some were dressed in olden times clothes.
i walked around the farm with mom. we stopped to visit with the chickens. i saw one drinking water. chickens are silly. we saw some pigs sleeping in the dirt. all the sheep were inside today. i took a quick look at them. sheep are kind of smelly and not very smart. i saw some more chickens. i watched the digging around in the dirt looking for snacks. and lastly we visited with the cow. the cow is very big. mom tried to talk me into giving the cow some head scratches, no freaken way. i don't want to get anywhere near that thing. i don't care if all the other kids are touching it.
we walked around some of the buildings. we saw people building birdhouses and doing wood working things with olden time tools. we visited the blacksmith. he was just telling people how to make knives. we walked around the house. i saw ladies spinning wool, sewing quilts and using a weaving loom. in the kitchen one of the ladies was making biscuits. I LOVE BISCUITS! mom said they are not the english kind of biscuit but the american kind which is more like a fluffy bread. oh, i still will probably like those too. 
after all that walking i was pretty hungry so we got in line for the frybread/lemonaid lady. it was a very long line. mom and i stood in line for ages. the old guy behind us complained the whole time it was taking too long. i busied myself by running around in circles and bothering mom. she was hot from being in the sun so i made sure to stand extra close to her. finally it was our turn to order. mom got me some pumpkin frybread and a lemonaid for us to share. we had to wait for a bit while the frybread cooked. i sat on a stump and sucked down most of the lemonaid before mom had a chance to get any. haha. she only got a few sips. mom was not happy with me. we made a visit to the outhouse so i could have a pee break. that was kind of weird. there was a regular toilet over a big deep hole.
we walked back to the food tent and collected our pumpkin frybread. it just came out of the hot oil so it was too hot to eat. we walked around a little more. we stood and watched the sugar cane being squashed. they collected the juice and then the juice gets boiled down to syrup. not really exciting. i tried to talk mom into buying me a piece of cane so i could chew on it- no way. but but, that baby has one. no! booo. one of these days i'll get a candy cane.
we went over to see the chickens again. rooster was there. i talked to him in my best rooster voice. he looked at me. one of the hens came out to see what was going on and she looked at me too. mom and i ate the frybread and talked to the chickens. we walked along the fence and i almost got a big slobbery kiss from that cow. she stuck her nose through the fence and i almost ran right into it. i wasn't paying attention. doh.
so that was our day out. we saw everything there was to see. mom and i walked back to the car.
got home and now it's back to the future time. whooo-hooo.

dad doesn't have to work today either! we're just going to spend all day in our relaxing pants watching tv and snacking. awesome.

today is thanksgiving. dad doesn't have to work. we're going to spend the day together doing guy stuff. first thing- to the park. we're going to go run around while mom cooks in the kitchen.
later there will be much eating. mom is making all kinds of tasty things. i'm going to get a big bowl of spiced sweet potato soup. yummy.

not much going on. mom and i went to the Y today. i hung out in the kid's room. there were a couple other kids in there today but they all wanted to watch dora. i'm not a big fan of dora. she just talks a load of nonsense. i found a trainset and started building some tracks. when mom came to get me i put all the tracks away again.
mom says this afternoon we're just going to hide out inside and start cooking. i guess tomorrow we're having a really big dinner. it's some kind of holiday in america

had a lazy morning with mom. dad got up early and left before we got up. mom said there was a lot of rain during the night so everything is wet. did you hear the thunder? what? there was thunder? i missed it.
oh well. sat on the couch and watched my pbskids shows. mom got her shopping list together and we headed out to start our day.
went to the grocery store. i sat in the cart while mom pushed me around. i guess there was a lot on the list because the cart got pretty crowded. i stacked bottles of juice on top of boxes of cereal. it was fun enough.
when mom got everything on her list we went to the check out and paid.
got home and mom put all the food away. i just hung out and watched spongebob. i had my usual lunch.
i was having a nice relaxing break on the couch when mom said it was time to get dressed. what for? it's time for taekwondo. oh cool. mom helped me into my uniform and we talked about how today is my last class. but i don't want it to be my last class. mom said we've got other things to do and when we get back from england then we'll talk about doing some classes again. she said something about trying karate.
mom drove us to class. i managed to stay awake this time. got to class and all i did was not listen and goof off. mom made more frowny faces at me. so i waved and shouted hi mom really loud at her. she didn't say anything so i ran across the room and stood in front of her and said hi again. mom told me to go back and listen to the instructors. i guess there's a reason i'm not taking any more classes for awhile.
class was good. we did kicks. i've got a good kick. so class finished and mom took me home again. that's where i am now. dad should be home soon. can't wait to hang out with him a bit.

last night was kind of rough. i fell asleep on the couch before dad got home. i woke up in the bedroom with poop in my pants. there was crying. i went and found mom to help fix the situation. mom was all- there's nothing to cry about, you're wearing nighttime pants. oh yeah, so i am. mom must of changed me when i was asleep.
i was still upset though. mom let me cuddle with her on the couch a bit. she put on back to the future3 for me and we watched that for a bit.
got up this morning and dad was already gone. oh well. i guess i'll see him tonight. hung out with mom. she gave me a banana for breakfast. where's my bowl of cereal? mom said- how about we go out for donuts? I LOVE DONUTS! so i ate the banana and mom helped me get dressed.
we got in the car and drove to some place i have never been before: jiffylube. what's this place? mom said they're going to do some work on the car. so mom talked to the guys and they took the car keys. we went into the office to watch. jiffylube was pretty cool. the guys drove the car into the work station. there was lots of tools and garage noise. i saw a guy working under the car. mom said they're changing the oil. interesting. the head guy talked to mom a bit and told her there were a few other jobs that needed doing too. mom said- since we're going to be here a little longer, let's go get those donuts now. I LOVE DONUTS!
mom and i walked next door to the donut shop. she ordered us a small box of mixed holes. did you know you could buy whole donuts or just the holes? what a world. mom and i like to get the holes because you can just pop them in your mouth- no mess. i like the chocolate ones best. mom says the jelly ones are her favorites. that's good, no fighting. we took our box of holes back to the jiffylube and sat and waited.
i ate a couple holes. mom gave me mostly chocolate or blueberry ones. i was sitting next to a lady who was playing games on her phone. she noticed me leaning over her arm staring at the screen and asked if i wanted to play- hell yes! so she let me have a couple goes in a color matching game. the jiffylube man said mom's car was ready but i wanted to stay. i didn't want to give the phone back, but i did.
next on the list of chores was going to target. they have mango juice that i like. so we did that. mom pushed me around target and we got things on the shopping list. i told her all about playing games on the phone and how i want a phone that plays game. mom was all- yeah yeah yeah, no phone.
mom got everything on her list and paid. we drove home. and that was all that was interesting about my day.
i hope dad gets home soon.

today mom let me watch all the spongebob i wanted. it was awesome. i just sat on the couch and she cursed at the computer. mom was having trouble booking airplane tickets. lots of bad words were said. she had to call grdad in england at one point. i got all excited because i wanted to talk to him but mom hogged the skype.
mom tried to book tickets again and there was more bad words. finally she gave up and said i could talk to grdad and jammma if i wanted. ended up having a quick chat. it made a nice break from watching spongebob.
mom huffed and puffed and finally booked some airplane tickets. phew. that's good i guess.
it was time to go to taekwondo. mom helped me get dressed. she took a couple pictures and then we got in the car. on the way to taekwondo, i fell asleep. i know, i know it's only five minutes down the road but i still managed to fall asleep. mom shook me awake. I'M SLEEPING! i'm tired from watching too much spongebob.
mom just rolled her eyes at me and dragged me off to taekwondo. i goofed off all class. mom made frowny faces at me.
meh. after class mom took me home and that's that. i'm going to sit on the couch and go back to sleep.

just your regular kind of monday around here. i talked with grdad and jammma a bit on skype.
mom puttered around the house trying to get things done.
we went to the Y. mom went to get sweaty and i hung out in the kid's room.
after the Y mom dragged me off to walmart to do stuff.
see, totally uneventful monday. meh.

it's sunday. mom has something planned for us. first i'm going to eat some breakfast and hang out with dad.
did some hanging out. mom made me get dressed. what are we doing? i just want to watch tv.
mom chased me and dad out of the house and down the stairs to the car. mom drove us and drove us. i fell asleep. this car ride is so boring. woke up to mom poking me: wake up, wake up. what? where am i? we're going to stomp around the woods doing old timey educational history stuff. oh man.
mom dragged us out to something called the ocali country days at the silver river museum. i have to admit it was pretty good. i got to make a candle. that was fun. mom insisted on helping. that was annoying. to make a candle you dip a string in cold water and hot wax, over and over and over again. there was lots of dipping. i made a nice looking candle.
we walked around the woods. there were all kinds of displays set up. i saw a big owl in a cage. i touched some bugs. the UF Bug guys were there with a bunch of different creatures. i touched a hissing cockroach and a big black millipede. i saw some civil war guys and native indians. the spinning lady was there with her rabbit. i stopped and watched a lady making pots out of clay. that was interesting. i looked around an old school house.
mom and dad got snacks. i had some potato chips and a few sips of soda. doing educational stuff isn't so bad when i get to have a junkfood lunch. dad got us all fresh squeezed lemonade. oh man, i love that stuff. i had to share mine with mom. we also got some pumpkin fry bread. nom nom nom.
after snacks we walked around some more. i saw some trappers and they showed us how to make fire. i learned a little bit about sugar cane, it looks kind of like bamboo. the old time farmers stripped the cane, then they cut the cane. they were selling chunks of cane but mom wouldn't buy me one. she was all- it's nothing but pure sugar, no way. boooo, but it's educational. no. after the cane was cut they toss it in a big pot and boil it. i watched the cane cook for a bit. they were selling cane syrup but mom wouldn't buy that either. NO SUGAR!
walked around the old time farm and saw the livestock. mom tried to get me to touch a cow and a horse, no freaken way. i didn't want to get anywhere near them. we looked at goats and chickens too. the chickens were funny. i watched them scratch in the dirt looking for bugs to eat.
we saw everything there was to see. after some discussion between mom and dad it was decided i could have a snowcone. I LOVE SNOWCONES! so i got a blue raspberry flavored snowcone and sat down with mom and dad to eat it and listen to some banjo country style music. the snowcone was great. it turned my lips blue.
before we left mom and dad decided we should do the tram tour. so we went and bought our tickets. it was only a short wait until the tram came. it wasn't a tram tram it was a truck pulling a open bed trailer behind it. we clamoured up into the trailer with a bunch of other people. there were seats. while the tram moved through the woods the guide told stories about the trees, wildlife and history of the area. in the middle of the woods the tram stopped and we all had to get off, what the heck? mom assured me it was fine. we followed everyone through the woods on this wooden path. the path ended at a river. the water was so clear i could see fish and turtles swimming around. dad and i looked for gators but we didn't see any. after a nice relaxing time looking at the water we all left and went back to the tram stop. the tram came and got us and that was that. we ended up back where we started.
i walked back to the car with mom and dad. mom drove us back to gainesville. i just sat and looked out the window. i entertained myself by making noises. mom was not entertained. she and dad talked about stuff. mom said she thought i had too much energy even after spending 4hrs stomping around the woods. she drove us to the park instead of straight home. whoo-hoo. i love the park.
at the park mom made me run around. she chased me around a baseball field. have you ever seen a baseball field? they're huge and i had to run all the way around the outside fence. i made the mistake of telling mom i wasn't tired so she had me run all over the playground.. i went up and down slides, i climbed the rock wall. i ran and ran. we were there for a good hour. i had a great time.
and that was how i spent my sunday. i'm going to relax on the couch with dad for a bit now.

today has been pretty good. had some waffles for breakfast time. dad wanted to go to work so after we had all eaten and done our morning things, mom drove him to work. dad got out of the car and went off to do things. mom and i drove around to some yardsales. we only went to 2 because it was kind of late. the first house we went to mom found a tree to buy. what the heck? it was huge. mom was all- there's no way this box is fitting in the car so she took the pieces out and stuffed the pieces in the car next to me. why is there a tree in the car? mom said- it's our christmas tree. is it christmas tomorrow? no. is it christmas in 5minutes? no. i'll let you know when it's christmas time. i hope it's christmas time soon.
we drove around some more and ended up at another yardsale. once you get past 10am there's not much left at these things. i dug around in a pile of toys and pulled out a game. look mom, leapfrog! i know mom likes leapfrog things, they're educational. i turned on the game and it worked. it's a letter writing game. mom hemmed and hawed a bit. i wasn't sure she was going to let me get it but she said- if it's $1 or less, you can have it. i went up to the man in charge and asked the price. he said $1 so mom gave him some money and i did a happy dance.
mom drove us home. i sat on the couch and played with my new toy. it's pretty cool. there's a couple different things you can do on it to help you learn how to write letters. this should help my writing look better for sure.
i had a good long play but then it was time to run around. i jumped up and started running like crazy. mom was not impressed. i got told off and mom made me stand by the door. she got her shoes on and i got my shoes on, out the door we went.
mom drove us to the park next to the house. we drove right past dad on our way. hi dad. got to the park and ran around. dad came walking up a few minutes later. HI DAD! mom made me run down the track that goes behind all the different apartment complexes, that's the whole side of the park! and then i had to run back to the playground. by the time i got back to the slides it was pretty busy so dad said we had to go. booo.
got in the car and dad drove us around. we didn't go home though, we went to a different park. awesome!
there were only a couple kids playing. i played chase with two older kids. the three of us just ran around and around. it was good fun. i got lots of exercise. i went down the slide a few times too and learned about static electricity. my hair would be flat at the top of the slide and by the time i got to the bottom my hair was sticking up all crazy. mom said that was because of static. it was getting dark so back in the car we went.
i'm home now. mom has stuffed me full of food. i'm going to get blueberry and snuggle down on the couch.

today is 11/11/11 and it's a holiday. american's call it veteran's day. i got up and did the usual stuff. i got breakfast and then it was time to skype with grdad. jammma was there today so i chatted with her too. mom puttered around the house and did stuff. she came over and shooed me off skype at 9. what the heck? i wanted to talk more but mom said we had to go do stuff. what are we doing? spending the day with dad.
that's right. dad took the day off work because no buses were running and everyone else was having a day off. so we all went to the Y. i showed dad the kids room. he and mom went off to do things in the gym. i played in the kids room. today there were actually boys to play with. i had a good play and then mom and dad came to get me.
we got in the car and dad drove us to the park. mom staid in the car so i could have some guy time with dad.(more like she was wearing shorts and it was kind of cold out.) dad and i had a good time going around the track. i rode my bike and he walked along next to me. we played on the slides a bit. it was a good time.
when we were done dad put my bike back in the car and we drove to walmart for some shopping. i rode around in the cart while dad pushed me. mom did her usual thing of putting stuff in the cart and getting lost. we finally found her and she put more stuff in the cart. finally mom said she had everything on her list so we got in line to pay. there was a wait. this walmart is not very well run. we always end up waiting forever in line. eventually it was our turn. mom paid and back we went to the car.
mom and i tried to talk dad into going out for lunch but he said- nope. booo. i really want french fries and chocolate milkshakes. i ended up with a peanut butter samich, again. dad did make me a smoothie though. that was good.
just going to hang out with dad now watching spongebob. awesome.

today i just had a lazy day of sitting on the couch watching pbs kids. i played with my toys and learned stuff. mom didn't bother me to go out and do stuff. what the heck?
had some lunch and hung out some more. mom came over waving a pair of sweat pants at me. are we going out? she said- where do we go when we're wearing sweat pants? TAEKWONDO!
mom got me ready and we jumped in the car. she drove us off to taekwondo. i got to class and instructor somi gave me a uniform so i can look like a real taekwondo student. i told her how i did my two chores. mom backed me up. class was good. there was lots of jumping and arm flailing. i'm good at that. today we kicked foam boards. i did really well with right foot kicks. my left food kicks need some work. at the end of class i had to stand up and say what chores i did- put my shoes away and take my bath. the instructor said, very good, now you can break the board and get a belt. so he held a board and somi showed me how to hit it. i gave the board a couple whacks but it wouldn't break. somi gave me a little help and with one big whack we broke the board. i turned around and shouted at everyone- I BROKE THE BOARD! there was clapping. i gathered up the pieces and ran half way across the matt to mom- I BROKE THE BOARD! then i went back and got my belt tied on. i'm super proud.
so that's what i did today. i broke a board.

it's wednesday. not much to report about today. i had a chat with grdad on skype this morning. jammma is still off on a visit to wales.
other than that it was just me and mom doing random things.

it's only 8pm and already i'm falling asleep on the couch. phew i've had a long day.
got up this morning and curled up on the couch with blueberry. i was really into watching pbs kids i didn't even hear dad leave. hung out until breakfast time. mom fed me a big bowl of crunchie pillows with raisins. i ate it up. i went back to watch more pbs kids. super why came on. i am not liking super why right now. i had mom turn off the tv.
got dressed and mom got dressed. we headed out into the day. mom drove us to the Y. i like the Y. i went into the kids room and mom went to the gym. for awhile i had the place to myself and then more kids showed up. i managed to get an iphone off a smaller kid. his mom left it with him while she went to the gym. he was only a little kid so i had to show him how it works. mom showed up and i gave the phone back. booo, i really want an iphone.
we left the Y and mom drove us to the grocery store. we only needed a few things so mom got a basket and i had to walk around behind her. i much prefer the cart. mom got the things on her list so we paid and left. on the way back to the car mom made a detour to subway. 5aday! mom ordered us some samiches and the girls made them for us.
got home and hung out with mom. we ate samiches and they were tasty. i watched a bit of tv. mom said not to get too comfortable because we're going out in a bit. where are we going? taekwondo. TAEKWONDO! i love taekwondo. so i sat on the couch with my watch and timed how long it took for mom to say- it's time to go. it took forever but she finally said- time to go.
got in the car and mom drove us to taekwondo. the place was full of kids. we all had to sit and listen. do you know how hard it is to sit and listen? after the listening it was time to get up and jump around. i had no clue what was going on. i just kind of jumped and flailed my arms about. every once in awhile i looked over at mom and she was snickering. class was fun but hard work.
after class mom drove us back home. i had some dinner. mom made me take a bath. there was some crying but not as much as last week. i got some new shampoo and i think that helped. at least mom does a quick bathtime so i was in and out in a few minutes.
dad came home. if i wasn't so tired we'd hang out but i'm just going to grab blueberry and head off to bed.

mondays are never very exciting.
i talked to grdad for a bit on skype, that was the most interesting thing i did all day. i had to follow mom around while we did stupid chores. went to the big walmart and bought stuff on mom's list. sooo boring.
that's my day. i played with toys. mom made me take a nap because i was grouchy with her at the store. meh, it's monday

i went to the park today with dad. just the two of us doing guy stuff. hell yeah. i rode my bike around the track while dad followed along behind me. we had a great time at the park.
the rest of the day has been ok. we hung out and watched american football on tv with mom. it was a lazy kind of sunday.
the clocks changed today. i am so confused. i'm pretty sure today is jammma's birthday. HAPPY BIRTHDAY JAMMMMMA! we've got cards but dad is in charge of sending them. they should get there before your next birthday.

mom and i drove dad to work and then we just drove around. we went to a yardsale. there was lots of stuff. i saw a few things i wanted but mom said no to them all. booo. mom ended up buying some little milk pitcher looking thing.
after that we just went home to hide out from something called homecoming. mom put on back to the future and we just watched that all day. i was cool with that since it's no the nicest day out.
hopefully dad will be home soon so we can hang out.

today kicks off something called homecoming. mom says we are going to run to walmart real quick and then spend the rest of the weekend hiding. 100,000 people are supposed to turn out for the parade and other events.

not much to report about today. i got up in the middle of the night but that's ok, everyone else was up too. i shouted for dad and he came in to hang out with me for a bit until i fell back asleep.
so this morning we were all off to a slow start. i had a bowl of crunchie pillows for breakfast and then just watched my pbskids shows. i played with toys while mom sorted her shopping list out.
got dressed and mom took me out shopping. we went to walmart. saw a bunch of cheeky birds flying around the store. cheeky birds. they were jumping around on the shelves, looking at dog food. mom got everything on her list so we paid and left.
next stop was the grocery store. mom didn't really need much at the grocery store. we just got a couple things of garlic bread and a little of this and that. mom says we already have a lot of food in the house.
got home just in time for peanut butter samiches. yum. mom is always trying to get me to eat something different but i don't want to know. unless it's a 5aday from subway, i don't want it. once in awhile i'll agree to pizza. i do like french fries and chocolate milkshakes but mom says i can't eat those everyday for lunch. oh well.
ate my food and now i'm just going to hang out. mom says we have to do naps later. boo. i guess i better go have fun while i can.

today was alright.  i had a really good sleep in. i didn't get up until almost 8.30pm. dad was long gone. mom stuffed some breakfast in me and i flopped down on the couch. gotta watch my morning shows. mom lets me get away with that because PBSkids is pretty educational.
at 9 mom was all- get dressed we're doing chores today. eye roll. but i want to watch cat in the hat. mom doesn't care. she got me dressed and loaded up all the dirty laundry into her bag. we stomped over to the laundry room. mom put the dirty clothes into the machines. i pushed the money in. while the clothes splashed around mom and i went out to the little park. i ran around and dug in the sand for a bit.
mom checked her watch and said it was time to put clothes in the dryer. so we went back inside and did that. i pushed the coins into the machines and pressed the on button. the dryers take a long time so mom said we could go back to the house to wait.
back to the house we went. mom went to work tidying up my room. i guess she got tired of waiting for me to do it. she's only been on my case for like 4days to pick up all the toys. i decided to play her some music so i got out the piano and played mom a tune while she worked. mom was not really impressed. i think that was more to do with how i kept asking her how the cleaning was going. are you having fun? it's not bad is it? cleaning is going ok, right? i like to taunt mom.
the room got cleaned up enough so i'm not tripping over things every step i take. cool. mom said it was time to collect the clothes so we went back to the laundry room. mom stuffed all the clean clothes back in the bag  and lugged them home. i jumped around while mom folded the clothes and put them away. i'm not really much help.
had some lunch and hung out. mom let me watch peppa while she worked in the kitchen trying to get the dishes clean.
around 3 mom said it was time to go out and do things. what things? what are we doing? mom wouldn't tell me, she said it's a surprise. so i got dressed and mom drove me off in the car. we didn't go far, just down the road. we're going to the grocery store? that's not much of a surprise. but then mom didn't turn into the grocery store. are we going to a kid's place? what are we doing?
mom pulled up to a building and we got out. we went through a door into a weird room. what is this place? mom said the girl behind the counter would tell me all about it. today you're going to learn about taekwondo. longduckdong? what? what's going on and why is the girl wearing black jammies? what's that matt for?
mom sat on the side in a chair while this girl talked to me. she showed me where to put shoes, i'm not supposed to wear shoes on the matt. then she showed me how to bow. there was lots of bowing. bow to the matt, bow to the flag, bow to your partner now dos-e-doe and back home again. no that's square dancing. i did have to bow to the girl though. then i had to stand on a dot and flap my arms about. after the flapping i got to kick i peace of paper. then i had to sit, quietly and focus. focusing is not my strong point. she girl said a lot about focusing and being good and listening. eye rolling. then she was done talking and the lesson was done.
the girl and mom talked a bit. mom got a bundle of papers to bring home. i've got a homework sheet to fill out. i have to do things like- clean my room, brush my teeth, pick up toys. all things mom tries to make me do anyway. homework should be pretty easy. the girl said if i do my homework i get stripes on my belt. i get a belt? the girl said i would get a belt next week, after i broke a board. YOU CAN'T BREAK A BOARD WITH YOUR HAND! mom said the girl would show me how. i'm going to break a board- WITH MY HAND!
oh man. mom and i left taekwondo and went across the street to the grocery store. we always end up at the grocery store. mom got a few things for dad's dinner and we went back home. i'm going to hang out and watch some more peppa pig. mom keeps threatening me with a bath. i don't want to take a bath.

mom says we are taking the day off. we're just going to sit around watching back to the future movies and relaxing.
i watched all 3 back to the future movies today.
around 4pm mom said it was time to get ready because we were going out. but but i'm going to watch iceage.
got some clothes on and jumped in the car with mom. she drove us just down the road and around the corner.
where are we going? i've never been here before. the dentist.
i'm not sure what a dentist does. i know kawalksi the penguin is afraid of them. mom assures me they are not scary. this dentist was giving out money in exchange for candy. i turned in 2lbs worth of candy mom was never going to let me eat anyway. all the candy collected is going to the troops overseas. mom says that's a good thing. the dentist gave me $2 in cold hard cash. awesome. i know that having money is a good thing. the denist was also giving away an ipod. all you had to do was write your name down. mom took care of that for me.
we finished up at the dentist and mom and i had a little walk around the shopping complex. i told her all about ipods and what i was going to do with my ipod after the dentist picked my name i won it. mom was all- well you might not win. no, i will win mom. i will win.
went home and now i'm just hanging out. dad should be home soon. mom is going to poison him with her mexican cooking and then we're going to hang out watching tv.

IT'S HALLOWEEN!
this morning i didn't want to get out of bed. i got up in the middle of the night and walked around a bit. i wasn't sleepy. but then i went back to bed and i was sleepy. dad knew i was up. he asked me why i turned the light on. i just want to look at stuff.
anyway, mom dragged me out of bed and got me dressed at a stupid time. she said it was raining out so we had to drive dad to work. fine. got outside and there was no rain. i sat in the car and mom drove us into town. dropped dad off at work. mom and i went home because there's nothing that needs to get done today. today is all about having fun apparently.
i finally woke up enough to eat some breakfast. mom said i could have a toaster strudel, awesome. ate that up and it was time to use skype. talked to grdad a bit since jammma wasn't home yet. had a good chat with grdad.
mom and i hung out for awhile not doing much of anything. she made me watch some movie called the goonies and then some scary ass thing called: the nightmare before christmas. luckily i only had to watch a bit of the scary movie because mom said it was time to go. where are we going? mom said it was time to start halloween.
got in the car and mom drove us to somewhere i've never been before. we're doing something new! mom didn't know where she was going either. the talking lady told us where to go. we ended up at this big school. mom drove around a bit and found a girl to give us better directions. she pointed us to the zoo. the zoo? yes, there's a small zoo at santa fe college. we're going to boo at the zoo.
after a bit of driving through endless parking lots mom found where we needed to be. she parked the car and we got out. we walked to the zoo. at the entrance i got a candy loot bag. mom donated some cans and we were in.
boo at the zoo was awesome. the students did a really great job. there were different theme worlds. the first one was super heroes. i saw spiderman and someone mom called wonderwoman. there were lots of heroes i've never seen before because mom doesn't let me watch those kinds of movies yet. they were all giving out candy! that's super enough for me.
the next world was alien invasion land. there were army guys with a smoking tank and pretend guns battling green creatures. the army guys were giving out candy and calling it ammo.  some suggested i should throw it at any aliens i saw. we'll see about that.
i made it through alien land and found myself in toystory. i saw a giant woody and slinky dog. slinky dog gave me candy. boopeep was there and so was wheezy the penguin.  we went through gates into pizza planet and i saw the claw machine. it's all real. mom was wrong. toystory is not just pretend.
after toystory we went on a pirate adventure. i found the pirate girls a little scary. they were kind of loud and waving around bottles of rum, singing songs. i did find a nice mermaid and she gave me lots of candy. she had a really nice tail. and that was boo at the zoo. it was good.
mom said since we're here, we might as well visit the animals too. so we walked into the actual zoo part. it's just a small teaching zoo. they don't have any big or dangerous animals. i saw a couple different monkeys and some birds. mom got all excited about something called armordillo.
made our way of the zoo and walked around the different booths set up outside. the booth people were giving out things like fruit rollups and rice crispy treats. awesome. they handed mom a bunch of different flyers. there was a lot to see.
finally visited everything there was and mom took me back to the car. she said- how about we go to the mall? i like the mall. to play? no, to get more candy. so mom drove us to the mall. it wasn't that far. we managed to find a parking space and went in.
mom took me to the information desk and they gave me a candy loot bag and a map. mom read the map and we went around to different stores giving out CANDY! one of the restaurants we visited wasn't giving out candy but they were giving out ICE CREAM! i got a free cup of ice cream. mom and i shared it.
we finished up at the mall and mom was all- how about we go to the grocery store and get a few things for dad's dinner and more candy? what? more candy?! sure enough. we got to the grocery store and i got yet another loot bag. mom walked around getting things on her list and i got candy from the store people.
mom paid for the shopping and we went home. phew. what a long day of doing stuff. i took off my costume and sat on the couch for a few minutes. it was only a few minutes because mom started shouting- time to get dressed! we're off to another event. what? there's a party at the Y, let's go.
i got back into my costume and mom drove us to the Y. mom donated a bunch of cans and we were set. in the field they had a bunch of cars and games set up. mom took me around to each of the games, after you finished a game you got to pick candy from the car trunk. i did a great job at build a skeleton. i know your hip bone is connected to your leg bone. the kid in front of us was trying to out physiology my mom, good luck with that kid. another game i did great at was- tossing eyeballs in a cup. the girl said i was the first kid to get all 5 eyeballs in. go me. i was waiting in line for a game when someone came up and started squeezing my head. what the hell man? i turned around and it was my dad! awesome.
i finished up the games so mom and dad took me inside. in the gym they had 2 bouncey things set up. there was a huge slide and a bounce house. i had a really good bounce. i got to go down the slide 3 times. it was soooo much fun. i could have bounced and slid all day but mom said we had to get dad home for his dinner.
got home and now i'm going to fall over. i am all halloweened out. such a fun day.

today i've had some fun. had a lazy morning. mom made us pumpkin waffles. i didn't want to eat any. i told her i don't like big waffles, i want frozen waffles. i ended up eating shredded wheat with some honey and raisins.
sunday is family day so there was lots of sitting around going: what do you want to do today? i don't know, what do you want to do? finally it was decided we should go to the park and i could ride my bike around the lanes.
whoo-hoo, i really like doing that.
dad drove us to the park and i got to ride my bike around. the weather is perfect for bike riding. i had a nice ride. i did my usual 4 laps, which is 1 mile. mom said it was time to go but i wasn't ready yet so dad said i could do 1 more lap. and that's what i did. 5 laps!
after the park dad drove us to walmart for some shopping. he pushed me around and we left mom on her own to get things on her list. dad and i just put whatever we wanted in the cart. we don't need a list. when we were done we found mom and it was time to pay. got  everything paid for and off we went, back home.
hung out with dad watching the sports game on tv. it was good. then mom started it with the- it's time to get ready and go. what? go? where are we going?
got in the car and dad drove us down the street. that's it? we're just going down the street, what the heck?
mom dug a couple cans out of the trunk and across the parking lot we walked with like a million other people. what is this place? mom said it's something called a church. and they're hosting a halloween event. we got to the entrance and mom turned her cans over. oh my god. there was so much awesome.
mom walked me down this huge line of decorated cars. each car was passing out candy. CANDY! the best car was dressed up like a spider. the guy in charge was on top and he put candy down a chute and it came out the spider's mouth. a spider spit candy at me! how cool is this halloween thing?
the line of cars ended at something called the gym bus. it's an old school bus that's been convert to a mobile gymnastic center. i walked on the balance beam and jumped on the tranmpoline. there was even a little slide to go down. it was good fun.
got off the bus and we went to visit the food. they had snow cones but mom wouldn't get one for me. she said they weren't as nice as the other ones i've had. booo. they were also serving hot dogs and burgers. mom and dad couldn't be tempted so we went over to the petting zoo.
i didn't want to go in the enclosure but i walked around the outside. i looked at the sheep and goats. i touched a bunny through the wire. the bunny was soft. mom reached in and touched the funniest looking chicken i've ever seen. it was a walking puff of feathers. i couldn't see any eyes on it.
there was a playground and i got to go play there. i love playgrounds. had a good time running around. saw a strange thing that mom called a ball shooter. it's kind of like basketball. you toss the ball up into a funnel thing which has 4 spouts. the ball then shoots out one of the spouts. i managed to get the ball up there twice. and the funnel is really high, so go me.
it was starting to get dark so mom rounded me up and we went back to the car. dad drove us back home.
now we're going to hang out and do more family stuff. it's sunday night moive time.

it's saturday. today has been pretty fun. i had a good sleep. woke up and dad was still here. we hung out. for breakfast time mom hooked me up with something called a toaster strudel. it's some kind of sweet pastry treat. you stick them in the toaster and then smear cream cheese frosting on them. inside is warm strawberries and more cream cheese. sooooo good.
after breakfast i had to get dressed. we all hopped in the car and drove dad to work. bye dad, see you later. mom and i just drove around doing stuff. we went to a few yard sales. but since it's a bit rainy out people had stuff in their garages. we didn't find much to buy. i got some word puzzle game that's supposed to teach me about sentences.
mom said we were really just killing time. at 10am she said- ok it's time to go to the mall. what you say mom? to play? are we going to play? mom said no playing, we're going to the mall to learn. oh man. we got to the mall and sure enough mom marched me right past the kid's play area. we got to the middle of the mall and there were loads of kid standing around tables. there were grown ups in lab coats doing science. it's chemistry day at the mall! i learned how to make slime. i saw veggies shatter when hit with a hammer. i zinc plated a penny. i saw soda cans crush themselves and clear liquids turn blue, then clear, then yellow. there was so much stuff going on. mom made sure i saw all the experiments. they were all so good.
after learning stuff mom took me off to the food court and we treated ourselves to subway samiches. yum. lunch was good. we ate our veggie delites and then mom rushed me out to the car. she said she forgot her phone and dad was supposed to call. oops.
mom drove us home. her phone had no messages so phew. she called dad and they sorted out a plan. mom says we're going to pick him up at 1pm, that's only an hour away. i hung out and played toys while mom had a quick shower. she got ready to go out again and so i did i. got my shoes on and back out the door we went. we drove to dad's work and waited for him to come out.
dad came out and mom told him it was his turn to drive, so he drove us off while mom programmed the talking lady. the talking lady told us which way to go. we drove past our neighborhood and kept going. we drove out into the countryside, well what passes for countryside around here. it's all sand and pine trees. i fell asleep. but only for a few minutes, it's not that far to the lubee bat conservatory. mom marched me across this field. i told her not to go so fast because i'm sleeping. she said- would a bouncy castle wake you up? yes, yes it would. then dad said he saw snow cones, would snow cones wake me up? SNOW CONES! so i bounced and shouted all the way to the gate. there were people every where. who knew so may people like bats. i walked around with mom and dad. we visited the different booths. one table had different reptiles and creatures. i touched a california king snake. i just gave him a little pet. you could also touch tarantulas or scorpions but i'm not that brave. i didn't want to touch the turtles either.
we walked into the next section which was mostly food. mom and i stood in line for snow cones for ages. we watched the snow cone man change his ice twice. that's how many snow cones he was making. dad came over with a snack for lunch. she got a pot of potato salad. dad paid a visit to the BBQ man and ordered it for her. dad got something called a pulled pork samich. mom and dad both finished their snacks and i was still waiting for a snow cone. mom sent dad off to stand in line for the bat house. it was a reallllly long line.
finally i it was my turn to order, well mom ordered. she got me a lime and mango. oh baby. it was super tasty. i was able to grab a few bites while mom and i rushed over to the bat line. dad was right at the front. awesome. he and i shared the snow cone while mom took pictures of bats.
i devoured the snow cone and then looked at the bats. they were pretty cool. some of them looked as big as me. several of the bats were awake and eating snacks like- watermelon, bananas and strawberries. i like those things! i saw some sleeping bats. they had their wings wrapped around themselves super tight and they sleep upside down!
got through the bat house and what did i see? 2 bouncy castles. i kicked off my shoes and went in the first one- a tunnel/slide combo. there were a lot of kids. some boy's knee hit me in the face, it was an accident. my cheek turned red but it didn't hurt much. i went to the next bounce house. the girl in charge made us smaller kids wait until the big kids were done. that's fine. all the big kids got off and i got to jump for a good 5 minutes. i was bouncing off kids and walls. it was so much fun.
after the bounce house i put my shoes back on and it was back to looking at stuff with mom and dad. we visited a few more booths on our way back to the car. i had a fun day out. mom said she thought i would. she knows i like snow cones and bouncy castles.
got home and mom checked the mailbox. i got a package! mom had to help me open it. out came a tshirt from some place called niagara falls. mom said it was a gift from dana bunny and gdad. they just got back from visiting niagara falls. mom said if i'm lucky i'll get to visit there myself some time.
phew. and that was my day. going to hang out with dad now, doing guy stuff. the gators are playing a big football game tonight

today has been pretty good. got up this morning and dad had already left. mom said that she and dad got up super early. why? i don't know. they do that some time. makes no sense to me. i got up at my usual 7am. mom turned on pbs kids for me and i curled up on the couch for a bit.
mom asked me if i wanted any breakfast- no thanks. she had a bowl of something. the computer started beeping and it was time to talk with jammma and grdad in england. i sat and talked with them for a bit. i told grdad to show me a bunch of different things. i wanted to see people's phones and the upstairs. i am very bossy. when i was talking with them mom's phone went off and she left the room to talk.
i talked a bit with jammma and grdad. at 9, mom said we had to do other stuff so i said goodbye to them. mom then clicked the skype button and called dana bunny and gdad. they don't have the best connection so i couldn't see video of them. i told dana bunny to show me gdad's calculator though so i could calculate consecutive numbers. mom said- no showing things just talk. so i had a quick chat with dana and gdad. we didn't talk long because their connection kept stopping.
when i was done chatting with everyone. mom got me dressed and we went off to the grocery store. we got the things on the shopping list and paid. nothing super exciting about the shopping today. on the way home mom asked me if i ever had breakfast time- um, no. can i have some grapes?
mom drove us home. after she unpacked all the things we bought she made me 2 peanut butter samiches. i ate them up because i was super hungry. i got some grapes and chewy fruit treats.
after lunch it was back to the car for our first event of the day: halloween at the library. mom and i got to the library super early. mom wasn't taking any chances with the parking. we found a space no problem, being that we were an hour early for the event. i helped mom return her pile of books and then we went to the kids section to hang out.
the library was good. i played outside for a bit. i got to use the kid's computer for awhile. that killed just enough time for the event to start. mom and i made a quick trip to the bathrooms and i got dressed in my buzz costume. we got in line with the other kids. there were mostly girls so it was all princesesses. one girl came dressed as a ladybug, that was pretty cool. i got a fake tattoo put on- creepy scarecrow face. it glows in the dark. we all sat in the conference room. three of the library girls told a spooky story. when the story was done it was time for games. i did pluck a duck- you grab a toy duck out of the pool and what ever number on his butt gives you a certain prize. i got a plastic top for duck butt 7. after that i did bowling, it's kind of like skittles. i knocked over 6 pins and got a bouncy ball. cool. there were a few other games but the line was long so mom and i went and got a cupcake. i helped mom put some sprinkles on it. she wrapped it up and off we went out the door. mom was all- grab the cake and run. the place was getting full of kids and it was super loud so i was ok with going.
mom drove us back home and the cupcake quickly disappeared. i've no clue what happened to it. hung out for a bit, playing and watching pbs kids. all the shows were about halloween things.
around 5 mom jumped up and said it was time to go out again. what? mom said we were going to a church fall festival. ok. so off in the car we went. we found the place and parked no problem. we were super early so mom and i walked around the neighbourhood a bit. on our walk we found a pretty cool park. i had some play time. i didn't want to leave. i got a little fussy with mom when she said it was time to go. she said- look there's a bouncy castle at the event, and that was enough for me. I WANT TO GO ON THE BOUNCY CASTLE!
the fall fest was good even if mom did try to make me eat a hot dog.
the church did a good job. i went in the bouncy castle first and it was wonderful. no one was really there yet so i got to have a good long bounce. when i got out mom helped me put my costume on and then i put my shoes back on. i walked around and everyone was all- hey it's buzz! i got a bag of cotton candy. there were a bunch of games and i did a couple. i put my hand in the witch's cauldron, i pulled out 2 spider rings and a bunch of chopped tomatoes, gross and weird. i did bowling again and got some candy for knocking down pins. on the ring toss i got a paddle ball for a prize. mom assures me it's a super cool prize. after the games it was time for food. mom ordered a hot dog. there was no way in hell i was going to eat one of those. just the thought of it made me cry. mom loaded up the rest of her plate with carrots, apples and a banana. that's what i had for dinner. all the other kids had burgers and hot dogs, i had veggies and fruit. when i was done mom let me share her brownie.
i got to have one more bounce at the bouncy castle before we left. one the way out we passed the pop corn maker and i watched the seeds hatch into popcorn babies. mom got a bag. i licked one but didn't want to eat any. i did have fun stepping on the dropped popcorn on the ground.
and that was my day. got home and dad showed up a little while later. we're going to sit on the couch and eat candy now.

I'VE GOT CANDY! the stories i've been told are all true. at the end of october people really do just hand out candy. and here i thought today was going to be kind of dull.
got up this morning and hung out with mom. we were off to a slow start. i ate breakfast and just kind of lounged on the couch watching pbs kids for awhile. mom did things in the kitchen. it was kind of late in the morning when she decided we should go out and do stuff. i didn't really want to go, i was comfortable on the couch.
we got dressed and went to the dollar store, everything's a dollar. mom filled her basket full of random things. she said she needed things for arts and crafts. she keeps saying that but we have yet to actually do any arts and crafts. mom got the stuff she wanted. we paid and left the store.
our next stop was- the craft store. mom and i walked around looking at everything. she found a couple things to put in her basket. i just wanted to look at label makers. i am obsessed with label makers right now. they've got buttons you can push. mom got everything she needed so we paid and left the store.
mom turned the car on and the clock said- 12:10. hey, it's lunch time! mom drove us home. she put things away and then made me a peanut butter samich. i ate it and it was good.
after lunch i got to play for awhile until mom started in with the- you need to take a nap business. eye roll. i don't want to take a nap, i want to play. nap now. i sat in bed for awhile and talked with my friends. i did eventually fall asleep, only for mom to wake me up a few minutes later. i'm sleeping! mom pulled the blanket off me- hurry up, time to get up, you're missing halloween!
what? i jumped out of bed and my eyes flew open- IT'S HALLOWEEN? mom said, yeah. there's a couple parties going on, let's go. so she helped me get into my buzz lightyear costume. we jumped in the car and drove down to the university.
it was kind of busy at the university. there were people and kids everywhere. mom couldn't find a place to park any where. she saw a cop directing traffic and asked him where to go. he told mom to try the parking lot across the street and down the block. whoo-hooo. mom found an empty parking garage and we parked the car. it was only a short walk to the sorority party. we got there just in time. the line was not too long.
i got a goodie bag at the entrance with a tshirt and everything. very cool. the trick or treat event was huge. there were college girls every time you turned around stuffing candy into my bag. most of the time i remembered to say thank you. i didn't know where to look. there was so much going on. i just followed mom around. she led me to the pizza station and i got a slice of cheese pizza for my dinner. it was pretty good.
i played a few games at the different houses. we got drinks along the way. mostly tonight was all about getting candy. each house had a splash pool full of candy outside and then girls with buckets of candy. candy candy candy every where. we only made it to about half the houses before i asked mom to take me home. my bag was heavy. mom said- ok, we'll go. there's a few more events this week anyway. what? more halloween? more candy giving? what you say mom? yeah, tomorrow is the library party.
halloween is so cool.
got home and i had some apple sauce with a big cold juice. getting candy is hard work. mom let me pick 1 piece of candy out of my bag so i reached in and plucked out a candy bar. mom opened it for me and ate half of it. that's ok, there's plenty to go around.
dad's home now. i'm going to hang out with him.

woke up shouting this morning, it was early. dad came in to check on me since he was up already. i told him i was dreaming about a war, but it's ok. the war was just pretend. dad left and i sat in bed for awhile talking to blueberry about the dream. got up and said good by to dad. now it's just mom to hang out with. i was planning on having a lazy morning of watching pbs kids. mom had other ideas. ate breakfast and then mom got me dressed. before i knew it we were out the door and off in the car. where are we going? mom said- how about to the Y?
the Y? i like going to the Y. it only takes a minute to get to the Y because it's just around the corner from our house.
mom dropped me off at the kid play room and went to the gym. the play room was full of girls today. they all wanted to watch dora the explorer. there's a lot of spanish in that show. i found some cool things to play with. i spent a lot of time playing with a red plastic heart. i have a heart. it pumps blood around the body, from my head to my toes. mom came to get me and i told her all about the heart.
got back in the car with mom. we drove right home. i sat on the couch and watched some shows while mom had a quick shower. she says the gym made her stinky. i'm pretty sure she was stinky before we even left the house.
mom got her shower and then i got my lunch. win win for everyone. had a good lunch, the usual- peanut butter and jelly. mom asks me if i want anything different, no thanks. when eating was done mom said it was time to go out again- oh really?
we got back in the car and mom drove us into town to the book sale we went to the other day. there were people every where. we had to park blocks away and walk to the sale. it was so crowded. mom said that everyone loves 10cent books. i walked around the sale with mom. she found a few books to put in her bag. by the time we checked out the bag was pretty full. the checkout lady only wanted $1.20. mom says we made out ok. she got a bunch of random books she's going to use for projects. yeah, right.
mom drove us home just in time for a nap- boooo. i don't want to have a nap. mom made me have one anyway.
nap was ok. i do feel slightly better. i'm in a good mood. can't wait until dad gets home

today's been ok. mom and i got up this morning. well mom got up first. by the time i got up dad had already left. mom said she shouted me a few times but i didn't hear anything. oh well. i'll just have to hang out with dad tonight.
mom and i had a nice lazy morning. we ate breakfast. today i got cinnamon crunchie oatie pillows. mom is trying to get me something different to eat each morning. i wonder what i'll find in my bowl tomorrow. watch some pbs kids while mom tried to figure out what to do with the day.
eventually mom decided we should visit some charity shops. we visited the humane society one today. we've never been before. it's pretty big. i followed mom around while she poked around in piles of stuff. she dug out a couple pots and some kind of glass bowl/dish thing. mom said it was something called pyrex. we looked at books and toys. i tried to talk mom into getting me a dartboard with no darts but she wasn't having any of it. but mom, but mom, but mom, but mom. no buts, i said no. eye roll
mom paid for her stuff and off we went to 2 other shops: the salvation army and goodwill. neither of those shops really had anything good. we poked around none the less.
we finished up looking at stuff and went grocery shopping. i sat in the cart while mom picked up a few things. nothing super exciting. unless you find broccoli exciting. mom says she's going to toss it in dad's stir fry for dinnertime.
got home just in time for peanut butter samiches. mom decided that we should do the laundry. she gathered up all the dirty clothes and we went over to the laundry room. i got to push the coin slider in to start the machine. that's my job. mom stuffed all the clothes in the machine and off we went to the little park next to the pool. mom checked the mail on our way to the park. i got a package from england. wheee-heee.
mom said i couldn't open the package until we went home so i just ran around the park and played. i dug in the sand a bit. i buried acorns. it's not the most exciting park. finally mom said we could go check the laundry, so back we went.
mom put the wet clothes into a dryer and i got to push the coin slider again to start the machine. since the dryer takes a super long time mom said we could go home. got home and mom noticed my feet were covered in sand. she told me to just jump right in the bathtub. so i had a bath. there was lots of shrieking and screaming. i don't like the shampoo mom bought. she says it's for baby's and the bottle says no more tears. i still don't like it. i got clean in the end though.
after my bath mom let me have the package from england. it had a really fun magazine with mr tumble and picture of jammma and grdad in it and some other pictures too. i read the magazine and played while mom worked in the kitchen.
we went back out and got our clean dry laundry. on the way back to our house mom spotted a dead lizard on the path. i ran over to poke it. it's dead mom! and then i picked it up and brought it over to show her. mom was all- yes, it's dead, you're not supposed to pick them up though, you're supposed to wait until we get a bag. so i carried the lizard up the stairs and mom got a container to put him in. i had to get my hands scrubbed.
and that's been my day. i had a good dinner. mom and i watched back to the future3. mom did work in the kitchen while i played with my friends. dad got home a few minutes ago so i'm going to hang out with him now
