it's almost santa time. i've put out a carrot for the reindeer. i put some milk and cookies out for santa by the fireplace. now i'm going to head off to bed with jammma for some stories and sleep. it's been a long fun day.
mom got me up stupid early, like 3.30 in the morning kind of early. all the bags for loaded in the car and then we got in the car and dad drove us. we drove and we drove. mom kept falling asleep so i kept waking her up. i feel asleep for a little while and then i woke up. i talked pretty much non stop the whole drive to derby. mom tried to tell me we weren't going to derby this year and that dad had gotten lost so we were just going to show up at a random house and spend christmas with them instead. silly mom. you can't fool me, i know where i am. we're in derby and this is where jammma and grdad live!
we got to the house and mom helped dad unload the car. i spent the rest of the day helping jammma. we've been around visiting people and doing chores. we made raisin muffins and soup. we did a bunch of things. it's been a good day, and i've been a good boy.
