had a really great sunday. this morning mom took me to the pool first thing. she did the laundry and i got to swim. i had the place to myself for awhile. this little boy showed up with his mom for a swim. i went right over and tried to take his pool toy. mom gave me a good earbashing for that. 'we don't take other people's toys!' ok ok. then i tried to talk to the mom and my mom called me over again. 'that little boy is trying to have some fun time with his mom, leave them alone.' ok ok. so i had to stay on the other side of the pool. mom left me to get on with it. i was having a good slash when this big shadow blocked out the sun. i looked up and there was dad. awesome. dad got in the pool with me and we had a great time. we splashed water at mom so she would go away and let us do guy time.
mom went off and tended to the laundry. when the clothes were done, i had to get out of the pool. fair enough. i had a good long swim. we all walked home. mom sorted out the clothes while dad and i had a quick shower. when i was dry and dressed mom made me some peanut butter samiches. i ate up my lunch and then it was time to go out.
dad drove us around town again. today it was shopping at the mall time. the mall is kinda far away. it was pretty cool. all the stores are in one place and you just walk around in the airconditioning. i am glad there is airconditioning, today is super stupid hot. we went into a bunch of different stores looking for shoes. dad needs more shoes. i know how that is, i'm almost ready for a new pair myself. we walked through the mall and found the kid's place. mom sat with me while i ran around the play area. dad went off on his own to look at more shoes without us. the play area was ok. it's just a bunch of fibreglass stuff set to look like a swamp. i jumped on a big fake gator, turtle and canoe. i climbed up the arched bridge and ran around. the best fun was playing in the big fake tree that had a slide built into the trunk. that was cool. there were a million other kids there all doing the same things.
dad came back and we all set off for the food court. mom and dad got some snacks. i already had lunch so i just nibbled on dad's fries. they were tasty. after food we went to the smoothie bar. i like smoothies! mom ordered me my own, i didn't have to share. i had strawberry mango. it was nice. i drank the whole thing while we walked around. we stopped at another snack shop and they gave us a sample. mom thrust a toothpick covered in this brown googy chewy weird thing at me. i wasn't sure i wanted to eat it so i just licked it. oh, my god. that was freaken good! i almost ate the toothpick and mom's fingers with my next bite. mom said that was a cinnamon roll. she ordered one to take home for after dinner.
we walked all the way back to the first shoe store and dad finally bought a pair of shoes. mall trip done. we got back in the car and drove around town a bit. while we were driving a huge thunderstorm came. it was raining so hard i couldn't see out the window at times. when i could see out there was the most amazing forked lightning. i've never seen anything like it. the storm was really cool.
dad drove us home. we got home and that's that. there's been one big storm after another rolling by. i'm going to grab blueberry and watch movies on the couch with dad. first up is back to the future2.

today i had a nice day doing things with mom and dad. this morning's family adventure had dad driving us to the local nature reserve. we got there a little after 9am and man was it hot. we stomped a short distance into the woods and found an olden times farm. we were the only ones around. mom was all annoyed because there were supposed to be people there dressed up in old clothes and doing farm things. she went over and asked the cow what was going on. i was not interested in talking to a big cow, behind a fence or not. i staid well back.
mom read the little flyer she had about the farm and it seems the farm people are only around during the school year. mom was all- it would be nice if the website mentioned that tiny fact.
dad was getting chased around by mosquitoes so we hurriedly walked around the rest of the farm. i saw some sheep. mom tried to talk me into giving them nose scratches, no way man. those things have evil eyes. i saw some chickens and pigs too. it was an ok hour in the woods i guess.
we stomped back to the car and dad drove us to do some shopping. today we did all kinds of shopping. we went in a bunch of stores. dad is after new shoes again and mom was after a special ant trap that is hard to find. mom found her traps, dad is still looking for shoes. shopping today was ok because i got to hang out with my dad. he lets me get away with more stuff than mom does.
we took a break from shopping to have lunch at the burger bar. mom said i could have an ice cream sunday for lunch. awesome! well the picture she showed me looked like an ice cream sunday, turns out what i really got was some kind of yoghurt and fruit cup with crunchies on top. it was very tasty.
after everyone finished lunch it was back to shopping. we went and did the grocery shopping. that went a lot smoother than yesterday. dad pushed me around the store and he doesn't really care if i stack heavy things on top of bread or chips. mom walked around and got the things on her list while dad and i did our thing. it didn't take long to get the shopping done. mom paid and dad drove us home.
we were out kind of late doing the errands so i missed nap time. instead, dad took me to the pool. mom staid home because she was cooking dinner and having quiet time. the pool was great. there were some older kids there and i played with them a bit. some college girls heard me talking and started squealing- 'OMG, he's british, that's sooooo cute!' i just kept on splashing and having fun.
got home and mom stuffed me full of dinner. i had a really nice pepper soup and garlic bread. now i'm just going to relax and watch back to the future.

today i had a meltdown, a big one. i'm tired of mom bossing me around and having to do everything she says. we got into a big fight at the grocery store today. i like to sit in the cart and rearrange the groceries while mom pushes me around. according to mom i can't dangle glass jars of pasta sauce over the side. it's also not a good idea to stack a huge bag of apples on top of corn chips. she tried to make me stop by moving me to the baby seat. i started hysterically shrieking and screaming at her. i wouldn't stop so she took me out of the cart all together. that made me even madder. so i shrieked louder and tried to climb back in the cart. mom said- that's it! and dragged me and the cart up to the checkout to pay. then she dragged me and the bag of groceries out of the store. i cried almost the whole way home. it was very upsetting.
mom made me some peanut butter samiches and i ate lunch. we sat and talked about things. i'm just having a rough time being 4. after our talk i went off for a nap.
woke up from nap feeling a bit better. mom and i are going to hang out doing stuff now. i'm going to try and talk her into going to the pool.

it's thursday. mom has declared a lazy day today. it's hot outside and we don't really have anything important to do so we're just going to watch starwars and play with toys. after naps mom said we can go swimming. sounds good to me

today mom took me to a kind of playdate. we went to this lady chrissy's house. i guess mom met her at the Y and she invited us over for a visit. we walked in the house and there were a million kids all sat around listening to this guy talk. KIDS! mom and i sat down and we had to listen too. i just wanted to play. all the other kids just wanted to listen. what in the hell is going on here? the man just droned on and on with these stories from olden times. something about a big boat and a flood. i heard mom giggle when the man said that oil comes from everyone and everything that died in the big flood. then the guy told a story about some scottish lady who went to africa to tell people not to drink so much and to stop sitting around being lazy. mom muttered, she could have saved the airfare and  just gone to glasgow. at the end we all had a little snack. i got some cookies and a bright blue drink. mom tried to wrestle a cookie off me but i wasn't sharing.
all the kids left and mom and i said a quick goodbye to the lady and we left. i didn't get to do much playing. mom explained that we went there for a bible study and to meet new people. next time we might go play but we definitely wouldn't be doing bible study. because we were out i missed naptime.
i've just been running mom ragged the rest of the day. do this, do that, get me some grapes.

today mom and i just had a lazy day. i played with fishy and blueberry. mostly we just watched toystory. i love toystory. i watch it every chance i get and when i'm not watching it, i'm talking about it. sometimes i talk about it while i watch it. toystory toystory toystory. lucky for me mom has all 3, so i can alternate which one i watch.
the weather wasn't so great today which is why we staid inside watching movies and shows. there was a pretty big rain storm, not so much lightning today but lots and lots of rain.
i did the usual nap at naptime. i did my writing. i helped mom write out thank you notes. and that really was my day. dad is home now and we're going to hang out and watch shows

FISHY IS HERE! he made it all the way to america. we've spent the day together having fun, just like old times. i took him out of the package and gave him lots of hugs and kisses. i have missed fishy. i am really pleased to have him back.

besides playing with fishy, it's been your average monday. mom and i went to the Y this morning. the playroom was full of kids. i had a good time playing with toys and doing stuff while mom sweated.
after the Y mom and i did the errands. we checked out the goodwill which is a kind of charity shop. the branch we went to was just a small one, they didn't have much in the way of game and fun things i am interested in. it was kind of hard to be good while mom poked around the racks but i managed to be pretty good. in the end mom bought a pair of dr martin shoes and 2 books for me.
our next stop was walmart. we had to wait in line for ages so mom could return the computer mouse that doesn't work. the lady finally called us and mom did the return. we then went and found a different mouse and bought that for dad's computer.
we left walmart and went to the grocery store. doing chores gets kind of boring. i just sat in the cart and played with all the stuff mom put in it. that didn't go over too well. apparently you shouldn't shake soda bottles.
got home after the shopping and mom made me a tasty lunch. she remembered to buy grapes today so i got a cup full of grapes instead of apple chunks. there was a big storm this afternoon. lots of lightning and thunder. one blast shook the whole house. thunderstorms are pretty intense here. mom sent me and fishy off for naps.
i had a nice nap. this afternoon i've just been hanging out and playing. mom made me do a little work, practising my writing. eye roll. dad is home now and we're going to watch loney tunes.

there's a thunderstorm going on- right now. i'm hiding in my egg next to dad. i can feel the house shake. this is a really good storm. mom has unplugged everything so i can't watch tv. i just have to peek from under my sheet to see the lightning. the rain is pouring down.
today has been pretty good. for fun we all went in the car and mom drove us to payne's prairie. it's not far from our house. we all got out and stomped around some woods for a bit. there was a big tower and we climbed up that so we could get a better view of the countryside. there's supposed to be all kinds of animals out in the woods but all we saw were two deer. the deer crossed the road right in front of our car. there were some birds and squirerrls but you can see them any time.
it was kind of hot to stomp around the woods. mom kept making me drink water. we followed a couple different trails. along one there was an old falling down house. i looked inside, no one was living there.
when we were done having fun in the woods mom drove us in the car to a place called i-hop. i don't want to go to i-hop i want to go home. what do they have at i-hop? mom said- pantakes. I WANT PANTAKES!
i-hop was good. mom let me order anything i wanted so i got a fruit punch drink and chocolate pantake. oh it was awesome. mom and dad got stuff too and we ate everything up. the food was very tasty.
after i-hop it was back in the car. mom took us to walmart so dad could buy things on his list. i really just wanted to go home and have a nap. i was not very good in the store and got told off a few times.
finally mom drove us home. i took my shoes off and crawled into bed. i had a nice rest. now it's storming out and time for dinner. mom made pizza.

today is saturday. i spent the day hanging out with my mom and dad. we did shopping. we went to a bunch of stores just looking at tvs. why just looking? buy a tv. i want a tv. put a tv in my room.
we went to like 3 shops and bought other stuff but no tv.
mom drove us home for a quick lunch and dad looked at tvs online. after lunch we got back in the car and went to a store we already visited. there we finally bought a tv. it's about freaken time!
there was much pushing and pulling and the tv finally got in the car. mom drove us all home.
dad hooked up our tv and now we have entertainment!

it's friday and another hot day. this morning mom treated me to a surprise trip to the pool. she said we were just going to go laundry but then told me to grab my swim clothes. i got to swim and splash in the pool while the laundry got clean. blueberry and robin were in the basket today so it was like they got to go swimming too.
the pool was great fun as always. someone left a floating noodle there and i had a blast playing with it. i also tried standing on my kickboard and just floating.
i had a good swim while mom sat in the shade reading. when the laundry was done and folded we went back home for the air conditioning. we missed most of the heat today because we got our outside chores done early.
mom and i have just been relaxing inside. i've been playing with my toys while mom putters around. she's working on cooking things for dinner. when dad gets home we're all just going to snuggle in bed and watch toystory3.

it's hot in america. as mom would say- stupid hot. only a crazy person would go outside if they didn't have to. according to the news some places out in the midwest got up to like 120degrees. i'm not sure how hot it got here today. mom and i spent the whole day lazying around the house in the nice cool air conditioning.

i played with my leap pad, working on my letter writing. i read my science books. i told mom that next time we go to the lieberry i want her to find me a book about girl parts so i can figure out how girls pee. this mystery is really bothering me.
mom and i cuddled and watched toystory. at lunch time to got my peanut butter samich and chocolate milk. mom put all the dirty dishes in the dishwasher and i told her how to work it. i read the instructions to her. she was all- i have used a dishwasher before you know. moms, can't tell them anything.
after lunch mom and i had naps. i had a realllllly long nap. mom tried to get me up at 4pm but i was having none of it. i slept all the way to 5. haha.
got up and mom fed me dinner. i badgered her into taking me to the pool.
i spent about an hour swimming. there were a few other people there tonight. two boys were there with their mom. the older one was called tony and he was just a little older than me. we played together for a bit. that was fun. two old ladies were swimming in the pool too so i chatted with them also. we all splashed and had fun. i got out of the pool and mom made me stand under the shower. i heard this pssssssssst coming from behind me. i turned and dad was there! whooo-hooo.
i walked home with dad. we've been hanging out doing guy stuff this evening. it's been an ok day.
oh yeah i wrote my first word today- TO. i also wrote AAH, but that was just by accident. i was practising my A and Hs. i actually wanted to write the word to and i did. i was trying to write a note for mom saying- go to the library.

today i had some morning guy time with dad. he and i had a nice breakfast time together. i played with his phone. i'm trying to figure out how to send memos from it. i have many important memos to send to mom and blueberry.  today am obsessed with memos.
mom got up and she helped me finish my bowl of crunchie pillows. she also made me give the phone back to dad so he could take it to work. that made me sad. dad got his phone and went off to work.
mom and i hung out this morning. i talked her into playing toystory on the computer while she got ready for the day. when mom was ready it was my turn. i got my clothes on and out the door we went.
mom drove the car to the Y. whoo-hoo, i like the Y. we went in and i got to play with kids. there were loads of kids in the playroom today. i had a great time doing things with them while mom did her work out.
when mom was done sweating she came and got me. we got back in the car and drove to the grocery store. i sat in the cart and helped mom pick things off the shelf. it wasn't very exciting. there were a couple of cans of tomatoes with in reach so i just moved the cans from one side of the cart to the other. i pretended to be the claw machine from toystory.
after the shopping was done mom drove us home. it's just been a lazy day ever since. we watched toystory again and had naps. that's pretty much it. i'm just waiting on dad to come home so i can use his phone to send more memos.

total lazy day. mom and i spent the whole day just snuggling in bed and watching movies. ahhhhh, relaxing.

today mom took me to the Y! it was super fun. first she took me to the wrong place and i almost got put into summer camp for the day. oops. eventually we made it to the right room. there were a couple of other kids in the play area waiting for their moms. the play area is pretty darn cool. there is a huge tv that plays disney movies. there's loads of toys and games and things to do. i had a good time checking it all out. mom came and got me when she was done doing stuff. she asked me if i wanted to come back again another day- yes please!
mom and i left the Y and went home again. we did the usual afternoon things like- eat peanut butter samiches and drink chocolate milk. we played toys and watched a couple shows on the computer. when it was naptime, i had my nap, mom had one too.
when naptime was over mom and i got dressed in our pool clothes. whooo-hoo, pool time! i spent most of the afternoon swimming around the pool. i would have staid all night too but mom made me go home for dinner. i really like the pool. mom and i had the place to ourselves most of the time. another boy showed up just before we left. his name was maxium. the two of us played chase and laughed.
so yeah, the pool was good but now i'm home again. mom stuffed me full of dinner. hopefully dad will be home soon and we can hang out.

today has been pretty good. this morning i went swimming with my dad and mom came too. she didn't swim though. she did the laundry and sat in the shade. dad and i had the pool to ourselves. we splashed around and had a great time. when the laundry was done mom made us get out and follow her home.
i had a quick shower to get all the pool water off and mom made me lunch. after everyone had eaten lunch it was decided we should go grocery shopping.
we all got in the car and mom drove us to the store. i sat in the cart while dad pushed me around. mom walked around with her list. it was not a bad way to spend an hour or so. we got what we needed and went home again.
mom declared naptime but i wasn't interested. i just sat in my room and goofed off instead of getting a rest.
i didn't take a nap so mom couldn't take a nap and then we were both grumpity later in the day. oooops. we survived though. i just have to go to bed early now.

well i almost had an adventure today. mom and dad took me into town. we went to the university to see the physics lab. there's some kind of interactive exhibit in the lobby. unlucky for us the lobby is only open during the week. we didn't know that though. we got to the building and it was all locked up and dark. boooo. i was looking forward to touching stuff.
we just got back in the car and drove to the store. i sat in the cart while dad pushed me around walmart. we bought exciting stuff like- socks.
i may not being the most exciting stuff this weekend but i don't care. i'm just happy to be spending time with my dad. after naps the two of us are going to hit the pool.

it's friday! mom and i are just hanging out. looks like another lazy day splashing in the pool for us.

mom took me to the lieberry today. whoo-hoo. i do enjoy a good lieberry. she got the address off the internet and then programmed dad's talking lady. the talking lady told us which way to go and even recalculated when mom decided to go a different way. the lieberry is pretty close by and big!
we went in and found the information desk. the lady there set us up with new cards and showed us to the kid's section. she said we were just in time for storytime! the room was full of little kids doing this and that. mom and i looked around. there was a door to the outside and a little play area with swings and slides. awesome. i had a great time playing outside, i didn't want to do anything else.
mom finally managed to get me back inside. storytime was ok. it was more for little kids, not big kids like me. i sat in the corner and used the computers. i turned one off by accident. i kept hitting the exit button until there was nothing left to exit. doh.
so mom walked around and picked out a few books for me. i picked one myself from the learning to read shelf, it's got spongebob and squidward on the cover. they make me laugh.
after picking out my books we had to go over to the adult section and pick out mom's books. she got big armful of things to read too. we checked out and then went home for peanut butter samiches!
i ate my lunch all up. mom and i read a story and played cars. it's naptime now so i'm off to do that.

today's just a lazy kind of day. mom and i have just been sitting around watching shows on her computer. it's too hot to really do anything. we're just going to relax and take it easy.

what can i say? it's tuesday. i've been busy keeping mom busy. today we did a few fun things. this morning she started teaching me how to write. i did some practice sheets, learning how to hold the pen, making lines going different ways. it's kind of hard. when i realized it was kind of hard i didn't want to do it any more. mom made me keep going though and i just made sloppy lines.
mom took me out for a car ride when it was time for a break. we drove to the kids activity place. it's kind of fancy. you have to be a member in order to get in. the desk girl said we would have to come back another day for a tour. mom said she would make an appointment. we couldn't stay and play since we weren't members.
after we picked up some information mom drove us around town a bit. we took a ride in a strange neighbourhood. eventually we ended up at our next location- the westside park.
westside park is really big! they have a couple skate ramps, baseball fields, tennis and basketball courts and a massive pool- with a highdive platform. there's also a really nice playground full of fun stuff to climb on and slide down. there were a load of kids but i wasn't really interested in talking to anyone. i just did my thing. i checked out the slides and climbed. we staid a little while but not super long. mom said we had to go because neither of us had on suncream.
on the way home mom and i stopped at a charity shop to check it out. it was pretty good. mom found me 2 pairs of shots, a book about fun things for kids to do in south florida and a monopoly jr board game. cool
got home and had some lunch. i'm doing peanut butter and jelly on toast now. i get a big glass of chocolate milk and an apple. lunch goes down pretty well. i usually don't give mom much hassle. after lunch mom and i played monopoly. i won! haha, good fun.
i had a nap at the usual time. i told mom i didn't want to take a nap but as soon as she closed the door i was asleep. had a nice rest. got up and mom said it was time to swim.
mom and i got our swim suits on and went to the pool. i had a good time swimming. i really like the pool. i heard some thunder in the distance and mom told me how lightning is dangerous when you're in the pool. i found that information to be rather upsetting and insisted she take me home. the lightning is going to kill me!
mom just sighed and took me home.
spent the afternoon just hanging out with mom. i gave her a hard time about eating my dinner. she tried to feed me red soup. i am done eating red soup. i only want to eat orange soup or pizza. mom said if i wasn't going to eat i should just leave the table. so it looks like anther night of no treats for me. the garbage disposal can have my soup. hopefully dad should be home soon.

today i got roped into helping mom do the chores. ugh. housewife work is so boring. today was laundry day. mom and i lugged two loads worth of dirty things across the apartment complex to the laundry room. blah.
so we did laundry and left the machines to work. mom and i went home and emptied the trash and recycling.
then it was time to go back to the laundry and put things in the dryer. mom made us sit in the laundry room while the clothes got dry. she read me things from national geographic to pass the time. i sat on the bench and tried to kick different things.
when the laundry was finally done mom folded it all up and she carried it home. i was kind of running behind her. i tried and fell on my knees. that hurt. i got some big scrapes, there was blood but i didn't cry. i thought i was going to but i didn't.
we got home and mom cleaned my knees up with some cold water on a cloth and then fuzzy water to clean out any left over germs. the fuzzy water tingled and then was kind of itchy. i cuddled up with blueberry for a bit.
mom got out our new mr hoover and did some vacuuming. could this day get any more boring? why yes, yes it could.
mom lugged me off to the grocery store and i had to sit in the cart while she put things in it. ugh.
