today has been a really long but fun day. last night i was up way past my bed time because we were over talking to fin. this morning i got up bright and early around 6am. mom was already up and dana got up a few minutes after me. we all ate breakfast and then hurried out the door for an early morning adventure.
mom said today's mission was to find tagsales or yardsales. they're kind of like carboot sales but instead of being a bunch of cars all in one place people sell things at their houses. so you have to drive around looking for houses with stuff in the front yard.
mom had a list of places for us to go to. at the first house we found a few things. i got a couple shirts and a set of wooden alphabet blocks. the next couple of places didn't have anything good and we left with nothing. we hit the jackpot at our next stop. mom bought a whole bunch of great stuff. she found a really nice toaster and a slowcooker. she also got some loaf pans for baking bread. best of all was the huge wooden trunk she bought which can be used as a table but the top opens up and inside you can store all kinds of things. we made a few more stops but didn't find anything to buy.
got home and i played with my new blocks and the digital camera i got yesterday. i love my digital camera. i take a picture and then i quickly delete it, then i take another one. dana made me lunch but i didn't want to eat it. mom said i could eat or go to bed. i decided to go to bed. i was really tired.
mom and i went off for naps. i had a nice long rest. it seemed like i was only asleep for a few minutes when mom poked me awake again. she said- ronnie is here.
whoo-hoo. i had a great afternoon running around doing big kid stuff with ronnie. we chased each other all over the house. we played cars. he brought me a bag full of old cars he doesn't play with any more. i thought that was nice. we played gator golf. we kicked a football around the backyard. it was all very exciting.
uncle matt said that aunty cathy had sent me some clothes. ronnie helped him lug in 3 huge bags full of things for me to wear. mom pulled out tshirt after tshirt. i've got more tshirts than her now. there were also a million pairs of shorts and a bunch of warm weather jammies. awesome.
mom got to drive dana's new car. gdad went with her just to make sure nothing bad happened. they came back with a bunch of bags from target. mom bought a bunch of computer stuff so now her laptop can be plugged into the wall, no converter needed.
i played with ronnie all the way to dinner time. he had to go home with uncle matt. mom made me some pizza and we shared. i really liked the pizza. i only ate one slice though, it was really big. dana made brownies and i got to have a small one for my special being a good boy treat.
that's been my day. i had loads of fun. mom says i have to go to bed now because tomorrow is going to be even busier.

another day full of fun and exciting stuff. i was so tired last night i slept almost the whole night. i kind of peed my bed so that woke me up and i crawled into bed with mom and dad. after that i slept all the way into 6am.
mom and i got up and had some breakfast time. i had a big bowl of crunchie pillows and raisins. everyone else got up and had breakfast time too. there was lot of milling around and finally we got ourselves together enough to do things.
dana drove me and mom off bright and early for a secret adventure. we didn't have to go very far. we went to a place called idleawhile park. it was awesome! it's a pretty big park and they have a brand new adventure playground. since we got up early, i had the whole place to myself. i ran here there and everywhere. i went on the swings, i went down slides, i climbed on stuff. oh it was good fun. i had a nice long play and then it was time to go do other stuff. i didn't really want to go but i did. mom says i can come back again soon.
dana drove us to an office and we all went in to talk to a lady about car insurance. the lady punched some numbers into the computer and mom was magically insured to drive cars. i don't know what that means but i guess it's a good thing.
after that it was time to go grocery shopping. i got in the cart and dana pushed me around. i helped her fill it up with a bunch of things. we got everything on the list and then paid. the checkout lady gave me stickers for being such a good helper. i put a sticker of a banana playing football on my shirt.
we put the groceries in the car and then it was off to another store. we went to a place called the goodwill. mom says it's what charity shops are called in america. i like charity shops. we walked around and looked at different things. dana found a really cool lorry that holds little cars. she bought it for me. then mom found a toy puffin, that's a kind of bird. she got that for me. i like getting new toys.
we left the goodwill and dana drove us to a place called little rascles, it's a store full of things to buy.
mom found a bunch of things to get. she got 2 new pair of shoes. i got a pair of puddle jumping boots. mom also found a digital camera made just for kids and gator golf! i've been wanting gator golf for ages and now i have it. i'm so excited.
dana drove us and the stuff back to her house. she and mom unpacked the car while i showed dad how my new things work. i ate some lunch and mom sent me off for a nap. i didn't really want to take a nap but i did.
this evening has been very exciting. i was outside in the back with dana and gdad when i saw a little boy and his dad walking by. i ran up to him and said- hello. the boy and his dad came over and chatted with us. the little boy is called fin and he is just a few months younger than me. he lives in a house across the street from dana. i am going over to his house now with my dad and gdad. fin's dad works down in oxford at the fish science lab so he and my dad have a lot to talk about.

today was another fun day. i did a lot of running around in the backyard.
dana took mom to some place called the dmvhell so mom could get a new drivers licence. i got to stay home with dad and gdad doing big guy stuff. they were only gone a little while. when they got back i got in the car with dad and dana drove us all to some place called the amish market.
the amish market was pretty good. there was a woman giving horse and buggy rides in the parking lot. i didn't want to get near the horses but they were nice to look at. i got to ride in the cart around the market while dana put in all kinds of good things. i helped her pick out ears of corn and all kinds of veggies. i made sure she got some fresh strawberries too. i like those.
mom and dad walked around and put things in their cart too. we managed to fill up the car with loads of tasty things. dana drove us and all the stuff back to the house.
other than that i haven't done too much interesting or unusual things. it's just been all running and playing outside. mom and dana went out shopping for clothes and stuff but i staid home with dad. he relaxed under the tree while i ran around.
i got to answer the phone earlier and talked to debbie. mom says that i have met her before but i don't remember. debbie and i had a nice chat. she asked me lots of questions and i said- yes. then it was dana's turn to talk.
i didn't have a nap today so i was kind of grouchy by dinner time. i didn't eat any of my soup. mom made me have a bath and i complained about that. i'm going to go find blueberry and sit on the couch for awhile.

today was my first day in america and man was i busy. i woke my mom up at 3.30am, well that's what time the clock said it was any way. my body said it was more like 8am, so i was all confused. mom told me just to sit quietly in bed. she gave me my science book to flip through. i sat and thought about stuff for awhile. i heard the birds starting to chirp so i asked mom to open the blinds so i could see the backyard. there was grass!
mom and i left the bedroom so dad could get more sleep. we went and sat in the front livingroom. we played on the computer for a bit. i had to go pee so i went off to the bathroom. i couldn't get to the bathroom though because i found a cat in the hallway and he was looking at me. i ran back and told mom. she said i shouldn't be afraid of hunter, he's just and old cat but very friendly. i am not sure. he makes funny noises at me. mom shooed him away for me though so i could pee.
eventually everyone else got up. i had a big bowl of crunchie pillows with raisins for my breakfast and a nice glass of orange juice. gdad took me, mom and my dad out for breakfast time to bob evans. it was pretty exciting. i shared mom's smoothie and ate all of dad's toast. the big people all ate tasty things and then we left for another adventure.
gdad drove us back to the house. he got out of the car and dana bunny got in. dana bunny drove us to a place called walmart. mom and dad got a cart and i got a cart with dana bunny. i helped her shop for things. we met up with mom and dad and then it was back home again for lunch and naps.
i ate a good lunch. mom made my usual peanut butter and jelly samich. i ate it up and then had a plum, delicious. after lunch mom made me take a nap. that was ok, i was kind of tired.
i probably could have slept for much longer but mom poked me awake around 4pm. what the hell woman. she dragged me out in to the livingroom and i had to say hello to my uncle matt and cousin ronnie. they were hanging out waiting for me. i just mumbled at them, i was not very awake. they had to go do stuff. i sat on the couch for a bit. my uncle richard showed up and i said hello to him before he left. it took me awhile but i finally woke up. mom dressed me up in my beach clothes.
when i was dressed it was time to get back in the car and go down to oxford. we went to some place called- the yacht club. there was just a bunch of old dudes standing around playing with remote control sail boats. oh and my uncle matt and ronnie were there too. they had a toy boat. i guess there was some kind of little boat race. we didn't stay to watch. dana took me and mom to the town park.
the town park is awesome! it's right next to the water. there are swings and a big slide and a wooden train. i went on them all. then i noticed- KIDS! there were a bunch of kids, all my age playing in the water. i went down and we all played together. it was great fun. there was lots of splashing and digging in the sand.
i had a nice long play and then ronnie showed up. uncle matt said he could come in the car with us. so dana drove me, my mom and ronnie out to the boat yard. i saw boats, and the pool! we only made a quick stop there. dana took us all back to her house.
ronnie and i ran around and around. we kicked balls and laughed. we played with an old rope. i pretended the rope was ringing a bell. ding ding, ding ding. dana let me and ronnie have jelly cups, so we had a nice snack and then ran around some more. it was a great time. uncle matt said that ronnie had to go home for his dinner so i said good bye to them.
dana made me a nice dinner of tomato soup and garlic toast- my favorite! i ate most of the bowl and then went back outside to play.
i sat with mom under a tree and we watched for flying bugs with glowing butts. they're called lightning bugs and they come out at sunset. mom caught a few so i could look at them close up. i was kind of afraid. dana bunny came out to sit with us and she brought me a green ice lolly. what a day. i ate my ice lolly and watched the lightning bugs float around.
i'm pretty tired so i'm going to get blueberry and head off to bed. tonight i'm going to try sleeping without any diapers. wish me luck

i got up really early today. it was a super long day of traveling. grdad drove me, my mom, dad, jammma and a million bags to the airport. today we are going to america.
i got to fly on a plane. i was super good. everyone said- i can't believe how good you're being. you're such a good boy, well done. it's not easy sitting and being quiet for 8hrs but i did my best. i mostly asked mom a million and 30questions. i sat in my seat and read the flight safety card- many times. i looked out the window a few times but i couldn't really see anything.
the plane landed in washington and we all got off. a grumpity man asked my mom a few questions and stamped our books. that was that. it took dad a little longer to get his book stamped but he made it in the end. mom and i gathered all the bags together while we waited for him.
we stood around and waited for dana bunny to pick us up. she got stuck in traffic so she was a little late. that's ok though, she found us in the end. i'm pretty tired so i think i'll just sleep a bit.

today is my last day in england for awhile. i'm not sure how i feel about that. i'm looking forward to seeing america but i've only ever lived in england. moving is weird.

today is my last day in exeter and of course it's pouring rain. the house looks weird. all our stuff is packed up. mom has been cleaning for days. i am unsure about the whole thing. mom and i talked this morning. i asked her when would we come back? she said we probably wouldn't be coming back to exeter because we were moving. what? but i don't want to leave. i want to stay in exeter. i didn't know that moving meant i had to leave exeter forever. i find that whole idea a bit upsetting. i had to get blueberry and have a cuddle.
auntie amy says i can go out puddle jumping with eleanor. so i'm going to go do that. i do love jumping in puddles.
jammma says that when everyone leaves the two of us are going to have a nice lunch in town before we catch the train. that sounds like fun

today is my last day in exeter. i am off to the park with jammma. we are going to run around and have some fun while the sun is out. the weather man says rain is on the way.

today i went to the seaside with jammma, grdad, tom, amy and eleanore. it was kinda rainy. had a great time. i love the seaside. kind of sad this will be my last trip there. i hope the seaside in america is as good.

today i went to wales on accident. jammma and i caught the train from derby to exeter. someone broke the traintracks outside of bristol and the whole train had to go up into wales and then around and back down to bristol. it was a big diversion and made us late by over an hour.
grdad, amy, tom and eleanor took the car from derby to exeter. they got there before me and jammma. there was a big whoo-ha when it was discovered jammmma and i were missing. everyone cruised around town looking for us. jammma and i just carried along happily. we weren't lost. we got to the apartment and mom let us in. mom told jammma about the search party so she called grdad to let him know we made it to exeter no problem.
it's really great to see my mom and dad again. my house looks weird though. there's no freaken furniture. i told mom to get me a couch because i wanted to sit down. she said- just sit on the floor. we'll get a new couch in america. that seems to be mom's solution to everything right now. we'll get a new one in america. all my toys are gone. all my books. even my bed is gone. mom says pretty soon we won't live here any more, that's why everything is gone. it's time to move. i'm not sure how i feel about that. it's a lot to process.

i know there haven't been many updates lately. i've been super busy having many adventures. i've been staying with jammma and grdad while my mom and dad pack up our things for the big move to america. 

mom says it's almost time for us to leave. today i'm taking the train with jammma down to exeter. we're all going to exeter for one last weekend away. gdad is driving down with uncle tom, auntie amy and eleanor. i really want to go to the seaside one last time. we're all going to have so much fun.
