friday means- playgroup! once again as soon as breakfast time was done i started throwing clothes and shoes at mom. go to playgroup, go to playgroup. mom was all- yes, yes we'll go to playgroup. we just have to wait until playgroup actually starts. mom eventually said we could get dressed and go. wheeeeeee. so we walked through town to playgroup. on the way we passed the usually selection of old people, homeless and students. if anyone got too close to me i shouted at them- I'M GOING TO PLAYGROUP!
mom and i got there early. she helped set up with some of the other moms. i snagged a red car and drove around the place. oh yeah. it was great. eventually all the other kids showed up. i stopped driving around and did other stuff. today there were cars and a parking garage. so i played cars for awhile. some other boys came over to play too. one of them took the car i was using. mom was all- let him have it, don't worry you'll get it back. and i did. he only played it for a minute and then ran off to do something else. after cars i played with the toaster from the fake house. you push the button down and turn the nob, toast pops up. just like the toaster at home. a little girl came over and snatched the toaster away. i was all- but but, and mom said i had a good long play with the toaster, i should go do something else. hooof. so i got up and went to the craft table. i got to use a glue stick. i liked that. i glued some felt and sparkle stars to a snowflake. cool. i also jumped on the tampoline. oh and i played with the blocks. yeah playgroup is really great. at snack time i had a load of cookies. mom usually only lets me have one but today i managed to talk her into 3! i handled leaving time a little better than last week. when mom said it was time to go i only put up a little protest, no screaming though. i went and got my jacket on.
so mom and left playgroup. we went to visit the veg stand ladies and mom got some cheap bananananas. i wanted to go to the shops but mom was all- nope, sorry. you don't have enough stars for a new car so there is no real reason to go. this i did not take well. i laid flat out on the ground and refused to move. old ladies were shaking their heads. finally mom had enough and just hauled me off the ground by my harness. i followed her home without further complaints.
i ate lunch and watched toystory 2 with mom. we played for awhile and then i went off for my nap.
mom and i are going to spend the rest of the day tidying up. i have to pick up all my toys and get ready for visitors tomorrow.
