ok so like yesterday was super busy. my mom went back to bed and had a nap so she wouldn't be grouchy. around noon mom, gram and i piled into the car and we set out for a day of adventures. our first stop was this place claymills victoria pumping station. mom left me with gram and did a quick run around taking pictures with her cameras. it's just an old victrian sewage works of some sorts, i wasn't paying attention. mom likes industrial architectures so she was happy. next stop was the coors brewing visitor center. it used to be the bass ale brewery until coors took over. our only goal there was to see the horses. oh man did we see them. this huge blood thirst beast came charging at me and was going to devour me, i let out a mighty screach and scared him off. ok my mom says what really happened was this massive, good natured, friendly shire horse came over to see if we had any treats for him. he was going to give me kisses but i freaked out and started to cry. mom gave him some nose scratches and he went back to his hay bale. she has informed me that horses do not eat little boys. as an added bonus we saw some koi. there was a little fish pond near the horses with some ginormous kio floating around in there.
after the near death experience with the horses. we went to the library park and had a picnic. what is it with these people and picnics? we all filled our bellies full of yummy treats and then it was back into the car for a drive in the country. the sat-nav lady helped us find this big old church out in the middle of nowhere ville. the church of holy angels in hoar cross. it's made out of pink sandstone and was built by some dude called- G.F. Bodley. mom says it's- a late victorian gothic revival church and pretty damn spiffy. whatever. by the time mom was done taking pictures at the church i was pretty fed up. i mean really in and out of the car all day long, going here and there. i just wanted my comfy couch and some quiet time. so they took me home and i got to do things i like. i played on my wiggle matt, had a bath and a huge bottle before going to bed. what a day.

today there is talk of going to Ashby-de-la-Zouch castle. the weather is supposed to be really great and mom says we should get out and see things while we can. english winter is coming quick and with it the shit light which just makes for grey sad pictures.
