note to self: when waking mom up in the middle of the night to reinsert sucker, A) make sure a light is on and B) make sure she has her glasses on. this morning mom kept trying to put sucker in my eye. this was not very nice.
had an ok day. mom is not thrilled with the current 4am wake up call. she said there is a big difference between 4am and 5am, 4am not so good. still getting used to my big boy bed. i woke up this morning and both my feets were popping out between the bars. hello feets. we got up and mom made me warm milk. i drank that. had a little sleep. got up again for baby rice and my mushy bannnanana. breakfast of champions. *. (no one will get that but it makes my mom laugh.) had some wiggles. eventually i had a short nap. got up and saw dad. we had some play time while mom was grumpity on the couch.
dad went off to do stuff. grandad and gram went off to do stuff. all that was left was me and mom. i gave her a earful about everything. blah blah blah blah. eventually she decided some food would shut me up so i got a super duper lunch. i had veg casserole and a side of butternut squash mixed with apricots. yummy. then it was more blah blah blah at mom and a fight over nap time. she made me sleep upstairs in my big boy bed. i complained for an hour before giving up and sleeping for a bit. got up and it was more of the same. mom said i wouldn't be so grouchy if i slept more.
i got some more food. mom blended up some of grams super delicious veggie soup. i ate a huge bowl. i am now full of veggie goodness. best meal i have had in days. hung out with mom watching late afternoon tv. eventually i agreed- yes i would be less grouchy if i went to sleep. when i woke up gram was home. whooo hoo. i spent a little time with her and that was my long uneventful day.
