today at breakfast dad goes- we've booked you a holiday kiddo, hope you have fun. what? huh? and then mom told me that she's been talking to gram and gram has been talking to her. next time gram comes down for a visit, she is going to take me back to derby with her. i get to go visit at gram and grandad's house. i get to see them and uncle tom and auntie amy and auntie pasty too. mom says it'll be just like sleep away camp. how exciting. i can't wait.
went out with mom this morning. we got a late start on things because she was waiting for me to download my morning stinky. she made me walk up hill at northernhay again. we've been taking the old people route, it's a less steep grade and easier for me to push buggy. i also like to stop and touch the flower that grow near the path. i dragged mom up one of the off road routes that go near the roman wall. the hill was super steep, but i made it up.
after all the hill climbing i was pretty tired so i told mom to put me back in buggy. it's thursday and since we don't really have anything better to do, mom took me shopping. at the first charity shop mom found me two new friends. i got a whooly mamouth- his name is manny, i've seen him on tv in that ice age movie. i also got a little stuffed shark. cool. in the other shop we went to mom got herself something weird and artycrafty- bobbin lacemaking kit? i don't know what that is but sounds boring.
went food shopping with mom and just bought random things like oj and diet pepsi. i'm not allowed either so whatever. got home and introduced the new friends to all my other friends. mom said that one of her surprises had come in the mail. so she opened this package and you'll never guess what was in there. mom found me my own copies of can you moo too and can you choochoo. oh my god, oh my god. i ran around the room squeeeling and flapping can you moo in the air. i love that book!
