today i poked a slug, two actually. mom spotted them on the ground and was all like- check it out, touch it. touch what? that thing down there that looks like a run away pee-pee hose? gross. my mom is so weird. i touched the slugs and they were slimey.
it's been rather wet lately- which aparently is why there have been so many slugs at the park. there have also been loads of puddles. i feel it's my duty to jump and splash in every single one i come across. mom feels differently. so we compermized and i can tap my toes on the edge. not as fun but mom is bigger than me, for now.
the park was good. in addition to slug poking i also visited all the flowers and they got pokes too. i saw a strange kittie. i wanted to pet it but everytime i got close enough kittie jumped up and ran away. oh well.
after the park mom dragged me off to do the shopping. she bought me more peaches so i didn't complain too much.
dad got home early from work again. we hung out while mom went out and did stuff. dad said she was going for a brow job and a facial. um ok. whatever happened she came back shiny and smelling weird.
