this morning mom and i went out for our walk and we didn't take buggy. i tried to get her to let me bring horse but she said- no freaken way. i walked in to town like a big boy. i pointed at stuff and chattered away. it was all very exciting. cars drove around the clock tower. motor bikes zoomed by. i saw the potato man truck dropping stuff off at the veggie cafe. big issue seller was on his corner. i tried to press the walk man button but mom wouldn't let me. it was lots of fun. mom took me in to super drug. i got to hold the basket. we walked around looking for some pills. mom talked to the pharmacy lady and she gave us pills. mom says the pills will help dad not make pukeys when he's on the boat. um, yeah great. after the store i dragged mom over to the sports shop so we could talk about balls. they had loads of balls outside. mom said no matter how much i begged she wasn't going to buy me one, i've got plenty of balls at home. oh poops to that. i sat down and protested for a few minutes.
mom and i eventually made our way back home. i got as far as the clock tower before i decided enough walking already. i sat down and refused to go any further. mom had to pick me up and carry me. that didn't last long. she put me back down near the busstop. stupid mom had an idea. she dug out a package of rice cakes and held them in front of me. i chased her down the street trying to get the rice cakes from her. she wouldn't let me have one until we got to the front door to our building. grrrr. mom wins again.
so i've had a long walk. mom made me a super huge lunch and i devoured it. god i was so hungry. i ate a big bowl of pasta with meat sauce, some fresh fruit- plums/nectarines, and two plastic pots of stuff. i'm so full. i'm going to find blankie and curl up for a nap. mom says when i get up we can have another walk.
