well, something interesting happened. tuesday night i was getting ready for bedtime when dana came home. she was followed in to the room by a giant. mom said the giant was called uncle pete and he's totally harmless. he's the biggest man i've ever seen. i found one of his shoes today and it was almost as big as me.
so i said hi to uncle pete. we played while mom and dana ate dinner. after dinner dana said- ok, everyone into the car. really? it's like 9pm and we're going for a car ride? awesome. mom helped me get my shoes on and out the door we went. me, mom and dana bunny got in the car and drove off into the night. we ended up at some place called a hotel.
hotel was kinda like where i live in england. you walk around in hallways, you use and elevator to change floors and walk around some more hallways. then you find a door with your number on it and use the key to open it. our hotel room was wicked nice. put some toys in there and i could live there. there was a giant tv and a huge comfy couch. mom said i could sleep on the couch and she would sleep in the other room on the bed. ok, so you're saying i get my own tv and compfy spot- awesome! blankie and i snuggled down and watched king of the hill.
i got up a little early. i watched cartoons and played with stuff. i had lots of fun putting the trash can on my head and running around the room. then i stood in the trash can and spun in cirlces. i found some pots and banged on them. the best was opening and closing the cabnit doors. ahhh opening and closing doors, such great fun.
mom finally said we could go find breakfast. food food. i like food food. we walked around the hallways and eventually found a room full of food. mom snagged me a banannana and made me a bowl of maple flavored oatmeal. oh damn that was good. mom had some scrambie eggs. she offered me some but i said- no thanks. i did take some of her blueberry muffin though. that was tasty. we both had loads of OJ to wash down our breakfast.
on the way back to our room mom and i stopped off at the computer room. mom sent dad some email and i got to play around on the empty computers. it was great fun. i opened programs and banged away on the keyboards, i got to click the mouse.
and that was my big adventure. mom and i sat in the room until dana bunny came and got us.
