saturday, you know the drill. wake up, eat food, get dressed, go to grocery store. we didn't get much. usually there are at least 4 big bags to carry home, today only 2 little ones. mom says we have to eat what we already have before we can buy more. we've got enough to last us until we go visit mommom and grandad. when we eat all the food here then we can go to their house and eat all their food too, like locusts.
it only took dad a few minutes to put everything away and then he was ready to go. i was very upset at that idea. i wanted dad to stay and play with me. there were tears. i got blankie and crawled up on mom to have a good cry. i cried and cried. mom said if i planned on crying all day i better just take blankie and get back in bed, so i did. i turned on my musical mindcontrol nightlight and closed my eyes.
mom woke me up in her usual manner- stripping my blankies away and tickling my feet telling me- get up, get up, it's time to get up. go away mom. who wants peanut butter and jelly? peabutter and jwelly? that changes things.
got up and ate my samich, i am digging peanut butter and jelly. mom said even though we already went to the grocery store, we still needed bread. so mom and i got dressed to go outside and off we went to buy bread. town was really busy. mom said- as long as we're out we might as well go to the charity shops, you never know. no complaints from me, i've figured out if mom sees something cool, she will buy it and that means- a new toy for me, just for walking around and following mom. on the way we stopped at a new store, mom said it would be cool. um, no i didn't like that place one bit. it was full of screaming kids all running around. i hid behind mom while she tried to get me interested in some toy she was waving around. mom called it the disney store, i will call it- hell.
mom and i got to the charity shops. we went in each one on the row. nothing, nothing, nothing, and nothing. oh well, home time i guess. mom said, well there is one more to look at, we usually don't go in because it's small and not very good. mom and i went in, way in the back half covered by some dusty drapes there were two scooters. not 1 but 2! oh my god, oh my god, scooters! i spent a good 10min testing them both out. mom said i should get the smaller 3wheeled one but i really wanted the big 2wheeled one. ok fine, but it's going in the closet until your birthday. mom paid the lady and i got my first scooter. i rode it all the way home while mom pushed. i made motorbike sounds and shouted- my bike at random people. other kids walked passed and stared, yeah you're jealous. i got a cool scooter and you don't baby buggy rider.
