today has been alright for a cold grey rather damp tuesday. mom and i went for our usual walk around town. first we went to the shops i like. i found a few things and talked mom into buying them. i got a cool new motorcycle. vroooom vrooooom. i carried it around town while we did the rest of the shopping, that's how cool it is. in one shop the old ladies behind the counter asked me if father christmas is coming to my house this year. mom said- most likely. they asked me what he was going to bring and i pulled out my motorcycle and told them- motorcycle, vroooom vroooom. they talked to me a lot and i just wanted to talk about my new motorcycle. yeah i charmed some old ladies today. in another shop an old lady kept poking me in the nose with stuffed animals. she talked to me about a bunch of stuff too. we dug through the animal box together. mom was standing right there and the lady asked her if it was ok to play with me, mom said- sure. so we had a laugh with the stuffed animals. i brighted an old lady's day, mom says- good deed done.
after the fun stores i had to help mom in the grocery store. don't hit the sign. don't hit the sign. i say that just before i give the what's on special signs a big wack. then mom says- don't hit the sign and i laugh. mom does not. mom and i got what we needed at the shop and headed home in the misty day.
i ate a big lunch. mom dug some beef stew out of the freezer and i had some of that. it was surprisingly good. i watched toystory 2, that is today's movie. i also played with my motorcycle. i went to bed at nap time and had a good sleep. mom got me up and i watched toystory 2 again and played with my motorcycle some more. mom made some more banana bread. mmmmm banana bread. when she was done in the kitchen i went in and made a pretend cake too. you can never have enough cake.
