today was pretty good. dad went off to the gym. i hung out with mom watching the morning shows and having my breakfast. same old same old. the sun was shining and mom said it was time to go outside. so mom and i got dressed up in our best- it's damn cold outside clothes. mom said since it hasn't rained in a few days how about we go to the park. whooo-hooo. mom said park and i said- FOOTBALL! mom was all- really? football? um, ok. so she packed up a football for me. we went to the park and had the whole place to ourselves. the ground was still muddy but everything was frozen. mom took out my football and i just ran by it. i didn't really want to play. i got on the roundyround and checked out all the ice on it. there was ice on everything. i did the slide and went shooting down so fast i ended up on the grass. the ice made it super slidey, it ruled. the paths around the park were icy too, mom said we had to be careful walking around.
after the park mom and i went into town for the usual shopping. we got milk and went back home. dad was home! awesome. mom made lunch. dad ate a huge breakfast.
after the food we all just hung out doing sunday stuff. mom made me take a nap. stupid nap. when i got up i found that dad had set up my train tracks. dad and i played trains until it was time for dinner. and that's what i've been doing today. nothing super exciting but still really fun. now it's time to splash in the bath and get ready for bed.
