today is going better than yesterday. mom and i walked around town this morning. she had a few things to get at poundland. so i helped get things on the list. mom said we needed a magic sponge. while she was looking at something on the shelf i noticed a whole stash of sponges right in front of me. i started throwing pack after pack into the basket. mom just shook her head.
mom got the stuff she needed and we headed out of the store. mom pulled over to the side to get her bags in order. i looked down and there was money. whoo-hoo. and not little money either- a whole pound. i managed to pick it up and stuck it right in my pocket. mom said we could walk around the shops, again to get our fresh air and excersize in. we went into the kidney shop and i dug around in the toy bin. truck, truck, cool truck. i showed mom. mom was all- no car or trucks, you don't have enough stars. mom looked in the bin and said- who's that? and pulled out this yellow square thing. SPONGEBOB! i snatched him away from mom and gave him a big hug. take home take home. mom said- if you want him, you have to pay for him. so i took spongebob and ran up to the counter lady. i put spongebob on the counter and the lady and i chatted about him. she rang him up and mom told me to give the lady the money in my pocket, so i had to fish out my pound. i handed her the money and she gave me back spongebob. i gave him another big hug and left mom to pick up the change and the receipt. we went into another shop and they had the awesomist car i have ever seen. i wanted it so much but mom said- you don't have enough money and it's too big for our house, no. i got rather cross with mom and cried at her a bit. mom said- definitely not, out of the store now. humph. at least i have a spongebob.
mom and i finished up shopping then it was home time. i watched toystory2 and played with spongebob while mom made lunch. grilled cheese samich!
it's naptime soon so i better get blueberry.
