pretty good day for a monday. i let mom know early that i wanted to go out shopping. go to shops, go to shops, go to shops. yes hardwick we will go to the shops, how about we wait until they are open? go to shops? GO TO SHOPS! finally mom said it was time to get ready and go out shopping. of course peppa pig had just started on the tv. oh man. i turned it off though and got ready. well not really. i gave mom a super hard time about getting my shoes on, and my jacket on, and my hat on. she was not happy. she told me to just forget about going out and to get back in bed. getting ready to go out shouldn't take 10min, it should take 2 seconds. grrrrrr. so i grabbed blueberry and had a quick cry in my bed. go out shops? mom came in and said i could have 1 more chance. i jumped out of bed and ran to the door. getting ready really did take 2 seconds. i had my shoes, coat and hat on before i could blink.
mom and i went to the veg stand- no cheap bananas today. booo. we went to a couple of the charity shops. mom said i could buy the toy camera i've had my eye on for like 2 weeks. she gave me money and i paid. she bought a big cooking dish for herself. mom dragged me off to tesco. we got stuff on the list and checked out.
we headed across town. mom said today we would check out a couple different places we don't normally go to. first we stopped at the oxfam bookstore. mom found a little kid international cookbook. interesting. i got to pay for that too. i'm getting pretty good. i put the stuff on the counter and start talking- pay, pay. money. and then i push money across to the person. i get to put receipts in my pocket, that makes me happy. mom and i walked down the hill to a place called read and return. you buy used books and later you can return them if you want and get some of your money back. mom found a bunch of cool 'educational' books for me. after that we stopped off at this place mom used to work at called real mccoy. mom talked to some people and then we shared a hot chocolate. oh baby, it was delicious. we walked around the shop and looked at lots of stuff but didn't buy anything. on the way out we stopped at another little shop that is an art gallery. we looked at pictures and tshirts. it was alright. on the way home we stopped at the hospice shop to look around. one of the boys from art class was there with his mom. he was sleeping in his buggy. i saw a lot of big kids riding buggies today. i was all like- man doesn't your mom make you walk everywhere? lucky. mom and i were out walking for like 3hrs today.
got home and asked for a cheese samich for lunch so mom made me one. i got my apple chunks and an oat bar afterwards. i played with my camera and watched spongebob. mom made me take a nap like usual. that's fine, i was pretty tired.
got up from nap and found that mom had done some work on my camera. when you press the botton the flash goes off, new battery! thanks mom. i've been taking pictures for hours now. dad just got home and i'm going to talk to him all about my camera. later
