did the saturday grocery shopping with mom and dad. we sent to aldi first and bought stuff on mom's list. after we paid mom took me over to visit the fish in the pet store while dad packed things up. i looooove visiting the fish. there were all kinds of baby rabbits in the shop today. mom kept trying to get me to check them out. i was so not interested. fish fish fish. i watched the fish swimming around. the fish watched me, thinking i was going to give them treats. hello fishes.
after the fishes we went to sainsbury's. nothing really exciting to report about that. mom bought more stuff on her list and then we pack everything in the car and drove home.
dad put the groceries away and shuffled off to work. mom and i went for our walk around town. we stopped and gave some pocket change to the Buddhist monk. mom says he just spends all his time walking around england and praying for peace. if we give him change our karma score goes up. i don't know what that means but mom says it's a good thing. mom and i went to our usual shops. we found a couple books. yeah, books. in one shop mom spotted a pair of shoes. she looked at them- hum, 8.5 those will fit hardwick. hardwick? i'm hardwick. mom is going to buy me shoes. i looked them over. football shoes. i dropped one on the ground and all kinds of lights started flashing. oh my freaken god! LIGHT-UP FOOTBALL SHOES! i don't think there is any thing more awesome than that. mom was all: light up football shoes that only cost £1.25, definitely rule. i got new shoes.
in the last shop mom found a bag of stuff she was all- £1.25 sure why not, she wouldn't let me see what it was though. so we finished our shopping and headed home. i rifled through the bags and dug out my new shoes. i dropped them on the floor over and over so they would light up. mom told me off and said i was just wasting the batteries. mom dug out the secret bag and dumped it out onto the floor. what the freaken hell is that? tinker toys mom called them.(they're not actual tinker toys. they're BRIO building sets) whatever the heck they are, they freaken rule. i spent all day building stuff. mom said tomorrow we can go buy a special box to put everything in.
