this morning i got up early and sat in bed singing very loudly until mom grumbled awake. she said i could get up. i did the usual morning things. mom hid under her covers so i hung out with dad. we had a nice breakfast together and watched spongebob. mom finally livened up and asked me what i wanted to do today. i told her- go shopping in the car! mom was all- that's what we do on saturdays, today is friday. so i had to sit and think for a minute. if today is friday that means- PLAYGROUP! i jumped on mom and said- i want to go to playgroup. mom's eyes just kind of rolled around in her head. dad and i made sad faces at her. dad was all talking to mom, i heard him say- playgroup or the park, pick one. go dad, sticking up for me. dad went off to work.
mom said she realllllly wasn't feeling well today, something about a sinus headache but if i really wanted to go to playgroup, she would take me. whooo-hooo. but... first i would have to poop in the potty. damn, always with the butts. i sat on the potty and did a massive poop. mom and i got dressed and off to playgroup we went.
today was my first time back to playgroup this year. it was good. there weren't a super huge amount of kids but it was pretty loud. i sat and played trains mostly. i got a little upset when a smaller boy came over to play and knocked the track, which then knocked my train over. i complained to mom. she just gave me hugs and told me to play on another part of the track.
just before snacks a little girl came up to me. she wanted to make friends. she wanted to pat my hair and my face and tried to make words at me but just a bunch of nonsense came out. every time she tried to touch me mom pulled me just out of reach. i really don't want some weird kid touching me. then the girl got really close like she was going to kiss me but instead did a massive snot streaming sneeze, right in my face. so gross, so very gross. i ate my snacks and then mom hurried me off home for a good face wash.
